I enjoy the gym - however this morning at gym on Ft. Caroline Rd. Jacksonville, Florida, on my way out the door, I asked the male Latino worker, what time do they open? with a frown, he rudely responded, " the times are on the door - read it." The other worker, Rachel , overheard him and professionally responded. This has caused me discomfort going there among rude employees. His response was not necessary.

After company claiming they received my shipment back and that they reshipped it to me again I have yet to receive anything. The only communication I’ve received is a reply to a review on here. Wtf?!? That’s NOT customer service guys. Not a tracking number, not an email reply, most importantly I’ve not received my order or a refund. A complete scam if you ask me! 

I strongly recommend never signing a contract with this gym, it's a shackle that won't let you go!!!!! First, you need to pay $50 for a magnetic pass, then you need to pay $30 twice a month, that is, $60 per month, and if you want to terminate the contract, you still need to pay for the next two months!!!!! You also need to pay for insurance of the exercise machines against damage once a year!!! The exercise machine itself is small, there is no room for gymnastics!!! There is no normal air!

Make sure you cancel 30 days before you decide you are going to have an injury or cant go to the gym or if you decide to go directly through a gym because THEY DO NOT DO REFUNDS! Even if they can see you aren't going and you ask for a refund within a 1 day of starting and billing you are out the money. I MISSED THE CANCEL BY A DAY!!!! They refused to refund.  


Pilates used to be my happy place. However, the manager, Susan Grassi-Simko has made the environment hostile and vindictive. She made it known that she is a Trump supporter and when you don’t align with her point of view, the aggressive behavior begins. She is constantly having us do illegal moves on the reformer, not allowing her staff to video it for their website because of the illegal moves. These moves are dangerous and a high fall risk. To make matters worse, she makes fun of clients, body shaming them about their “cottage cheese thighs” and poking fun at those that can’t do specific moves because she has upped the level of class. She always takes a level 1.5 and pushes it to a 2.0 because “she gets bored teaching us”. When I cancelled my membership, allowing for the 30 day notice, to join another studio, I was told my final draft would come out on July 7th (today) therefore allowing me access to the studio through August 6th. This allowed me not to pay a double membership to the new studio as well as the old studio. July 7th draft happened and then all of my classes were cancelled. I called the studio and Lindsay said Susan was on vacation and when she came into work this am, there was a sticky note to immediately cancel my membership and classes. I believe that Susan has forgotten that she works for the clients and not the other way around.

As you read this keep in mind the two stars would be five if this company was not steeped in constant feeding lies and deception toward their customer base. 

Gym itself great! All kinds equipment activities amenities. 

Then there is the management and staff.  In the over two years continuous I was a member while living in CO, then relocation to GA for work.  I of course had to cancel my membership.  We'll get to that... Argh!!!! 

During my time at this gym there were few times where I had to change my membership level.  Every time I had to do this it came at a cost.  Which if told  about it, I'd have no problem with. Financially each time I could have planned for.

The 1st time staff member completely omitted this fact.  Came back later brought it up, without saying it the outright I was told we don't care. 2nd, time I was offered an increase to a studio red at ZERO cost to me expect for the increased membership price upon  next month payment. Specifically asked about the price guarantee fee $50 based on the prior experience.  The guy right-out lied to my face.  even Staffer had audacity to emotionally play off my veteran status.  Low common dominator of human. Brought it up again after a surprise VASA charge one day on my account. Staff looked at me like I was A-Hole for bringing it up. To save money I eventually lowered my membership to lowest level.  I knew I was about 2 eat the cost to SAVE money after being deceived and lied to the first tow times.

Now canceling, ready to relocate.  Went into my home gym location over one full month prior to my moving.  Staff member told me to my face, "You been with VASA for over six months it cost zero for you to cancel." "Come in before the end of your final billing cycle and go online and cancel it." Did exactly that, low and behold the again lies and deception.  They processed a new payment before my new cycle date and as I was cancelling. NO F'ING refund! Paramount a none VASA company does all their support bidding. 

Same as others, added personal details to their site unsolicited and apparently even creted an accout to login to but don't responsd to any email asking for removal or why it was appropriate to do so in the first place

visited many others gyms, this one is special. I was welcomed as an old friend by the manager on my first day of work despite this being my first time at the company. Took me through it all in an unjudgmental way and made me feel completely relaxed. It is also a hard to find vibe of a real, human gym.

The gym is discriminating against me for having autism and refuses to confirm their discrimination in writing and denies now some of what they said to me. I am told I can't use the hot tub or play ball if the two people who were harassing me come before me because I have autism, and the gym knows they have an earlier schedule so I can't use the facilities. I have done nothing wrong and am denied equal access to amenities I paid for which is breaking federal law. I requested an accommodation to use the facilities at my schedule and was denied, yet this is asking to do what I should be already permitted to do. I offered for the gym to talk with my health care provider, but they said "they don't want to know about my autism." I have filed a discrimination complaint against Lifetime Fitness in Mount Lauren NJ. If they throw me out for using the amenities I pay for and the situation, I will have something substantial to add to my complaints. It is impossible to get fit while I am being threatened and discriminated against by the gym while I am being harassed by two members who do not like me because I have autism.
