NCU Learning Experience
Overall, I've had a very pleasant experience with NCU. I entered my doctoral program with an optimistic outlook, knowing it would be challenging and 100% virtual. My professors were always available, very helpful, and encouraging, and there are numerous resources available to students as well as an online community. I've only experienced one hiccup with a teacher who could not perform due to ongoing illness, but the situation was rectified by the administration once I brought it to their attention. The student portal for classes has been pretty easy to navigate, and I feel that my program has been just as rigorous as if I'd attended a traditional brick and mortar university. I think the school also does a good job of communicating announcements and relevant information through emails and posts.
