When we wanted to plan a vacation to Greece I did not know where to begin: I found Zicasso and filled out the form. I was contacted by 3 travel agents who were located in Greece. After talking with all 3, I found Panos Zafiriou of Kivotos of Aegean to be the best fit for me because he asked questions about what i was interested in, what I wanted to do, hotel type, etc. He sent me an itinerary and we tweeked it here and there until it was a great fit. He provided all of our transfers to hotels, ferry tickets, tour guides and so much more important info. I asked him all types of questions and he was patient with me. I can say that every step of our trip was PERFECTION. The hotels were dreamy! The tours were so fun! Not one hickup in the whole vacation. I highly recommend Panos if you are going to Greece! I will use Zicasso on my next trip! Thank you Panos - you are so good at your job!

We are basking in the memory of a simply amazing trip to Argentina with Zicasso... it was awesome. The responsiveness of our specialist and guides, and the attentiveness of service overall was very noticeable throughout. In particular, there was a storm that hit in the days prior to our arrival in Bariloche (Argentine Patagonia Lake District) which impacted boat schedules -- and behind the scenes without us knowing, we were re-booked and re-scheduled in a seamless fashion to ensure we got the hiking and other experiences that we were hoping for. Great service!

The best parts of the trip... Touring Argentina's Lake District, the views were insane. We did a 12km hike through an ancient Patagonian forest which was amazing and also appropriately challenging. Iguazu Falls... I can still hear and feel the forces of nature at play here, just incredible. We had a private guide for all our days there, getting us on trains and trams and trails, and were able to see both the Argentina and Brazil parks, which have different vistas for the falls themselves.

And Buenos Aires was also very memorable -- we stayed in Palermo (Hollywood and then Soho neighborhoods), easy and safe and walkable. Great restaurants and our tours of Buenos Aires were very interesting. Asado! The beef in Argentina is next level.

If asked if we would change anything, I’d say no, the trip was pretty much perfect. All our guides were so friendly and knowledgeable, we enjoyed every minute.

Zicasso's travel company provided us a very memorable trip across northern Italy over a two-week period. I was struggling to put together a trip to Greece because of the many islands and options available. What drew me to Zicasso were the sample itineraries they featured on their website, allowing me to visualize what a fabulous trip might look like. The fact that all the itineraries could be personalized, and that I would be partnered with a local travel agent to zero in on the perfect trip was the perfect solution. The agent in Greece had first-hand knowledge of the regions and what might be the best fit for our dream trip. She listened to our needs and crafted a fabulous trip within our budget. The support before, during, and after our trip was very hands-on and she was in constant contact with us via WhatsApp to ensure everything went smoothly while we hopped islands in Greece. We added a couple of days to our trip while we were in Greece and she took care of all of the arrangements to extend our trip - really above and beyond excellent service! We wouldn't hesitate to use Zicasso to plan our next trip.

The level of service from HighPoint Holidays and in particular our travel coordinator, Justine Stewart, was phenomenal. This was our 40th Wedding Anniversary celebration and Justine could not have done a better job of insuring our trip to Ireland and Scotland will be so memorable and cherished. From the collaboration over an 8 month timeframe, to the areas visited, the accommodations, the tour guides, dining, logistics were absolutely outstanding. I’ve been wanting to plan a trip to Europe for my mom for years now. I’m an excellent planner, but after seeing everything that needed to be done, I knew I needed help. Zicasso was knowledgeable, patient, and thoughtful while helping me plan, and then they paired us with excellent partners on the ground/in country. The constant support and open lines of communication are an invaluable resource. I don’t have any additional trips planned, but I will come back to them for assistance, especially if it’s another area with which I am unfamiliar. Knowing that the in-country transport, the hotel bookings, the train tickets, etc., are handled in advance and all I need to do is check my information packet in real time is a huge relief. They also didn’t get impatience with me as we made edits to their itinerary suggestions along the way (maybe twice the itinerary changed?).

I have used Zicasso for selecting a tour company to organize a private tour of Normandy for six people.
Zicasso provided information on three travel companies that could help me with the planning of our travel. We just completed our fourth international trip organized through Zicasso and are contemplating our next. For many years we booked our own travel or used travel agents recommended by friends to visit over 30 countries with mixed results. In booking our own travel we often missed sites and experiences that are not as well publicized on the internet. Also, we wasted valuable time by not knowing the most efficient ways to get around an unfamiliar country. There are no standards for travel agents. Some are really knowledgable and provide stellar service while others push canned itineraries with the vendors that make them the most money. It can be a crapshoot. Vacation time is far too precious to risk a bad or even a mediocre experience. Zicasso is not a travel agent per se. Rather, they have a curated network of proven travel agents located in each geography. Once we picked our destination, Zicasso had two or three of those agents contact us directly to suggest an itinerary based on our travel goals and budget. Then we worked together with one of them, sometimes for over a year, to hone the itinerary to exactly what we wanted. Zicasso’s agents are also selected for their on-the-ground support so there is a responsive person in the country to deal with any unexpected snags. We have high expectations and certain things we like to do when we travel, like taking a local cooking class. So far Zicassos’s local agents have delivered in spades.

Penny Webster made just fabulous arrangements for us for our visit ti Fiji. We spent a week on a boat exploring the Yasaswa Islands, and at the same time received an in depth education of what real life is like n the villages on the islands. These are not scenarios set up for tourists, they are real life. Several of the boat crew were from some of those islands. Life is hard, the tourist industry is one of the highest employers, and the warmth and the enthusiasm show by every member of staff was superb. The boat is on its last legs, we heard that they will debut a new one next year, and the food is so-so, but the cruise itself was 10-10. Penny tolerated all my emails asking for information that she had already sent me, and the folder and trip docs were efficiently put together. We spent our last 3 days in PURE luxury on an over water Bure at the Marriott. We jumped into the sea right from our balcony.
Highly recommend. I understand that Zicasso connects you with 2 agents, who propose quite different trips, so its nice to have some choice. Personally, it only confused me, but once we picked our agent we were up and running.

I have used Zicasso for 2 separate international trips.
They provided information on travel companies that could help me with the planning of our travel. In each case I was able to communicate with the travel agents and decide which could best address my needs. One trip was to Morocco and the other to Bhutan and Nepal.
Our private tours were superb. I definitely would recommend using Zicasso to find reputable travel agents.
