Wopec takes all the hassle of getting the best price. Mass orders will always get a better deal than an individual can achieve. The savings far out ways the annual fee, also Fred is always very helpful of there are issues and is easily available. I strongly recommend joining

Just put in another order for oil, and it's a doddle with WOPEC. This will be our tenth year of membership.

No idea how much money we save because I'd have to make a price comparison each time, but I am sure that WOPEC's collective buying power saves us more than enough to make the membership fee worthwhile.

We started with WOPEC in March 2013, having heard good reports from other users, and have stuck with them ever since. Always a good price, without the hassle of phoning around different suppliers. Previously, we had tended to be 'loyal' to one supplier for simplicity's sake, but they were not always the cheapest. Now we rely on WOPEC to do the footwork to get the best price for us, and delivery is prompt. A real winner!

I've been a member of Wopec for several years and that has added up to a lot of money saved when comparing the cost of oil from anywhere else. The service is great and Fred works hard to get members best possible price. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else for my heating oil.

We have recently left WOPEC but only because we have moved to a house with different fuel requirements. However, we were members for 9 years. I cannot recommend their service highly enough. The ordering process is very straightforward and you can be 100% confident that you are not only going to get your delivery when anticipated but also at a price you'd struggle to match going it alone. If you are deliberating, there's no need, it's a no brainer join WOPEC for all the reasons stated above. You won't regret it, a top service.

A really good way of buying oil which is consistently cheaper than the alternative.
For years I had been using a different group-buying platform and tried WOPEC because it is locally-based.
Fred is extremely helpful, on the phone or by email, if you have any questions.
Orders are placed according to a published schedule of dates, which I like.
It is easy to place your order on the WOPEC website.
After the oil is delivered, you are billed directly by the supplier, at the price negotiated by WOPEC on your behalf. It has always worked out significantly cheaper than I could get if I were to buy on my own.
The membership fee paid for itself on my first order!

We have been members of WOPEC for about 7 years and the group has consistently and significantly undercut distributors' oil prices so, with the volume we use (at least 5,000l per annum - we run a boiler for hot water and heating and cook on an AGA) has saved me a lot of money. Ordering is easy (the website is a doddle) and delivery is usually within a week of the order being submitted. In the case of a misunderstanding (or lack of planning on my part...) a telephone call is always courteously and helpfully dealt with. I cannot recommend the organisation highly enough and will continue to ask them to order for me as long as I am able.

Very happy with WOPEC
Consistently get a cheaper oil price than if ordering direct with supplier and WOPEC always happy to help with queries. And if you recommend others you get a £20 bonus!! I have done this twice so the system works.

I cannot recommend WOPEC highly enough. My mother has been using their service for many years now to get discount on her heating oil. There is power in numbers and the more members WOPEC has, the better collective discount it can obtain. It does this by using the company which offers the best price that particular month. The lower price is negotiated by being able to bulk order for many members at the same time. The kind personal, thoughful attention from Fred makes this an enjoyable experience.

Running out of oil and having not received my oil order despite constant promises, in despair ~I turned to WOPEC with whom I have been a member for many years. Within a very short time WOPEC found me an alternative supplier who could deliver in the next 2 days.
~I cannot recommend them enough if you live in the Devon/Somerset area.
