INCOMPETENCE GALORE IN GREENSBORO NC

READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE SCHEDULING... I was considering not writing this review even after all the waste of money and time but Vision Source-Eye Center of the Triad had the nerve to send me a bill for $4.13 a couple of days ago. I cannot let this pass! I am so extremely disappointed with this eye care practice. Total incompetence. Let me begin with: I have had myopia since I was 12 years old. With Dr. Martinek, I walked into the office having myopia in both eyes, but walked out with a “perfectly healthy” left eye (20/20 vision). But 5 months after that visit, when I could not see at all, I walked in with her “20/20 vision” in my left eye and left with myopia again. Go figure! Meanwhile, she had me on “dry eye” treatment however charging both my eye and medical insurance for unprofessional and incompetent care.

I still had to have a THIRD eye exam this year because I could not see after Dr Martinek's second exam.

I know mistakes/typos/calibration errors can happen, and I appreciate honesty. The people in this practice, starting with Dr. Martinek, are unable to take responsibility for mistakes but quickly blame the patient. Josef, the optician/administrator, is condescending and disrespectful. It is truly embarrassing.

I prefer driving 90 minutes to see my eye doctor in Wake Forest and have positive, respectful, quality care.

I went for an eye exam and specifically…

I went for an eye exam and specifically to see images of my eyes. I was never shown the images and the exam was based on last year's exam where I was on a medication that perhaps shifted the Rx, which I was not given this year. I was told I could see them, then that the machine was down, then that they would have to retake them, then offered only a partial refund. I want a full refund for the services I did not receive.

Vision Source - Edgar S. Perez rips people off

Do NOT go to the Vision Source in Elk Grove Village, IL with Edgar Perez. THIS PLACE WILL RIP YOU OFF!!

I went for an eye exam, contacts and glasses. Paid for the eye exam, the contacts and paid 1/2 for the glasses. I was to pay the other 1/2 when I pick the glasses up.

When picking up the glasses, the frames didnt look right and then I was told about there still being a balance of $118.00. The lady explained why the frame is not polished and reflections and some other crap but the bottom line is they were ugly and why would I pay for glasses I dont like?!? I asked for a refund and she told me no, I cant get a refund. So I am supposed to pay gor something I dont want?!? I asked to see a refund policy stating that I am stuck with whatever happens and they told me that they dont have a refund policy at all. They said they will keep the ugly glasses with them until I pay the money. I got screwed.

My choices were:
1) Pay for glasses I dont want
2) Dont get any glasses and leave them with all the money I had paid for them so far.

Thats not fair in any way. I paid for the eye exam. I paid for the contacts. I didnt like the glasses which I paid 1/2 for and because I didnt like the glasses, I cant get refunded due to a non-existent policy or be made to pay for what I dont want? Is that good business? Of course it isn't. I got ripped off!!

There is no way this sort of behavior should be accepted.
