The watch I purchased was given the following description: "Very unusual steel hand wound Rolex Tudor from 1959, with a black dial. Case, movement and dial are all in nearly perfect condition. We see very few of these steel Tudors with black dials. Priced at 985 pounds. This will be sold almost immediately due to high demand for 1959 watches as 60th birthday gifts." It took some months to get a reply having requested a certificate of authenticity and a receipt of purchase. I decided to get a second opinion on the watch which confirmed that the dial was not the original and was re-worked to include 'Rolex' above 'Tudor.'
