It’s impossible to use the app for a…

It’s impossible to use the app for a quote as the area to enter birth dates always seems to come back as incorrect. Even the email that had a quote for our upcoming trip would not allow me to purchase the plan as quoted. I instead went to Allianz and was able to finish in 20 minutes. Which included cruise and flights.

Customer service agents were curt; no extensions allowed after travel initiated.

Customer service people were curt. My son went to Italy and had an amazing opportunity to extend his trip, but they were not able to extend his insurance because he was already out of the country. I couldn't even buy an additional policy because he had already left and they had zero suggestions on other options. They also don't cover any changes initiated by the purchaser, only changes outside of the purchaser's control. I will never be using this company again.

The rep at Travel Insured was very professional and helped me to determine what type and how much coverage we needed for an international trip. She even advised me at one point not to add coverage for hotel stays that were refundable up until the last minute. I never felt that she was trying to upsell me and she clarified a confusing process. Highly recommend.

It might be okay

I don't think it is clear what we bought, what it covers and how it compares to what the cruise lines offer. I have the suspicion that it was close to the same things the credit card covers for free. What I want is interrupted voyage protection.

I always buy Travel Insured Cancel for Any Reason for every and any trip because there are so many unforeseen circumstances when traveling. It's comforting to know I am covered if needed. One trip where my travel partner became too ill to travel TI was there when I needed to use my coverage. Very customer oriented, compassionate and knowledgeable.

NEED MORE OPTIONS FOR REQUESTS

I am trying to submit two expenses on your website. None of the reasons for my request is listed as a cause for reimbursement. There was a delay at the airport AND a cruise ship couldn't moor in a port that caused a to miss a schedule tour. Please add another choose as "Other" for reasons to submit a claim request. Not all requests are military related. Also, there are two dates of reimbursement requests. NOT a single date.

Ended up in the hospital with heart…

Ended up in the hospital with heart problems. Had to cancel cruise. Spoke with them on the phone and received an email with all the forms to fill out. Am recovering at home now and finally was able to mail off everything yesterday. The girl on the phone was wonderful and very helpful. Hopefully I'll be getting a refund on my cruise soon.

Due to the passing of our mother, we had to cancel our trip to Europe. With no hassles , Travel Insured paid our claim in a timely manner once we submitted our documentation. We really appreciate your understanding and condolences. We surely will use Travel Insured in the future.
