professionals at fobbing you off
Spent around £500 for a free consultation for 1, maybe 2, implants And couple of crowns replaced!!!
First one was free but, to go any futher had to pay for a hygienist. Fair enough but, all they did was a bit of flossing and a slight polish. £250 for ct scans, explained what I wanted/needed done. And then wait for a report and costs.
I left it for a while as was in hospital for 3 Months. Went back with report, only to be told sorry, that's the old way of doing things. You have to start all over again. Ok still free consultation? yes, but you pay £50 up front and that comes off the bill at the end....mmm.
Paid the £50 and off we go again, used same scans that were taken previously. The Dentist had changed his mind on what he recommends. so asked for a new report and costs. Got about 4/5 pages printed off with a load of gobbledegook! and costs that were unclear. Went back for a third appointment for an explanation. Dentist changed his mind yet again. Dentist has now decide I need a tooth extraction and root canal on another. But he cannot do root canal work and will refer me to a specialist. Agreed to send me a new report with correct costs and options. Never heard from the referred specialist, but when I made enquiries to ask about the referral and costs, they would look for it but Root canal work starts around £900!!!! Had the extraction in the meantime £250 and informed them I have had no contact from the specialist. To this Day I have not heard anything. Spent £550 and got nowhere.
I don't intend to go back as I don't believe the Dentist knows what he is doing. He had to constantly consult his 'Boss' I felt he was only trying to put it off by constantly changing his mind on what was needed. Maybe he deliberatly kept putting me off on purpose.
IF TOOTH DOCTOR, (Stanford-Le-Hope branch), ACTUALLY READ THIS AND WANT TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT...REFUND MY MONEY AS YOU HAVE DONE NOTHING BUT FOB ME OFF FROM DAY ONE.
