Thank you Matthew
I wanted to thank Matthew from the snow Centre for dealing with my email request so proficiently, and without making a fuss. You turned a very sad situation into something less stressful so thank you.

First class customer service.
This is a public thank you to the staff of the Snow Centre, especially Sarah. We had a lovely time and my grandchildren learned so much. The atmosphere is welcoming and courteous. But the staff here go the extra mile. Our car number plate has been cloned and the letter of intended prosecution alleged we had been exceeding the speed limit in Enfield when we had actually been parked at the Snow Centre. Sarah and the IT staff combed the camera footage of the carpark and have sent me photographic evidence of our being there. I think it was probably time consuming to do this and I can only say how grateful I am to them.

Horrendous customer service from a very…
Horrendous customer service from a very rude receptionist.
Having completed the level 2 snowboarding lesson, I had a conversation with the instructor where I mentioned that I had enjoyed it and would like to come back to complete the next levels but due to living a 2 hour drive away, it would preferable to stay in a hotel for the night and do two lessons over two days. I asked what would happen if I didn't pass level 3 on the first day, and if it meant I wouldn't be able to attend level 4 on the second day which would result in losing time and money.
The instructor assured me that if I didn't pass, it would be no problem moving my lesson on day two from level 4, to level 3 to reattempt so therefore I decided to book the two lessons and a hotel stay at over £100.
Disappointingly, I did not pass level 3 but came back the following afternoon to reattempt it and was told there were no spaces and it was not possible to move me from one level to another.
I explained that the instructor had assured me that it would be no issue and that I was unhappy with them as I had now wasted time and money based off of false information given to me.
I am unsure if the instructor gave me the wrong information or if the receptionist was just being difficult but in any case, she was extremely rude and accused me of lying by saying that the instructor wouldn't have said that and continued to be dismissive and rude in her tone.
I made a complaint via the online enquiry form on their website and this was also completely ignored.
Based off this experience, I would not recommend The Snow Centre and I will not be going back.

Amazing
Firstly, I went to the rentals and was inexperienced in what I should rent and the staff in the rentals were extremely helpful and efficient, I then finished my experience at the lodge upstairs it was no short of excellent, the staff were great and made a great hot chocolate, a special mention to Alex who made the lovely hot chocolate and was extremely nice and friendly. Would definitely go again.

Ask for Archie for your lessons!
Archie G is an absolutely brilliant instructor! He really took the time to make sure everyone in the group lesson fully understood how to use the board, and he was amazing at accommodating different learning styles — whether you needed a detailed explanation or a hands-on demonstration. His positive attitude and encouragement made the whole experience so enjoyable. Thank you for a fantastic lesson, Archie! — M + J

The staff here are absolutely amazing
The staff here are absolutely amazing. They have been so helpful and have gone out of their way to help us learn snowboarding and make us feel welcome. One member of staff even let me try his snowboard when hearing I was thinking of buying one. Big shout out to Chris especially, can’t thank you enough. Top guy top service and top team altogether. Would recommend it to anyone. Have fallen in love with the sport! Dan and Harriet

I’m a beginner/intermediate snowboarder and I was very lost when first got into the snow centre. Chris Mann was so friendly and approachable! He saw I was lost and he came over and offered help or guidance. What an amazing guy!

Not to be trusted
The staff here clearly intentionally mislead my husband. After him spending the time to explain exactly what he wanted and when! He was advised to buy a £200 gift voucher. The member of staff did not mention once that what he’d specified wasn’t even available in the time frame he’d specified, no pre-warning at all that it might not be possible/ might be no availability. They just took his money!
Very disappointed with the service we received. When bringing this to their attention Shay couldn’t care less and we were informed that regardless of being mis-lead and mis-sold something that wasn’t even possible, they do not give refunds at all.
So we now have a £200 gift card that’s totally useless! Day light robbery!
We regularly eat and drink and the slopes but this has left a very sour taste. We will not be visiting again.
Do not trust them!

Level 4 lesson
Level 4 lesson, 2 hours £50. And i spent most of the lesson waiting to get on the lift and go up the slope after a run. In 2hrs i think i only came down about 10 times due to the constant waiting. There was 15 staff and lots of groups taking up the training slope. Not a care from any of the staff. "Nothing we can do they all say". What about health and safety? Do not waste your money here learning. Ive had far better times at Milton Keynes Snozone. I will be complaining and asking for refund.

fantastic experience at the Snow Centre
What a fantastic experience at the Snow Centre at Hemel Hempstead. We have booked a ski holiday for January after 30 years of not skiing so needed to start again with beginner lessons.
My wife and I had a wonderful instructor in Santi who was patient, fun and supportive.
We had our first hour lesson and then asked if we could have another lesson in the afternoon, Santi was not due to do a lesson but said he would happily do another lesson after lunch.
We ended up going up the main slope 4 times and coming down in a controlled and confident manner.
We will come back again before January and would recommend anyone going on a ski holiday to book in here and ask for Santi.

Beginner session with the legendary holly 🥇
30/8/24 5 hour beginner session.
Holly and team
Must say as a fresh skier taking to the slopes with no idea what to do.
Hollys tuition was second two none, well clear instructions and even showed us each step by step with clear practical example and repeated it many of time without hesitation. Holly and team was alway there to lend a hand, on and off the slope amazing staff. And well experience
Definitely wouldn’t have been able to do it with out them, amazing effort team

Snow Center group session
I had a fantastic level 5 group session with Nick A. His knowledgeable, clear and quite entertaining explanations of skiing techniques instilled me with the confidence to put them into practice. He was patient and encouraging and kept the class moving at a pace that worked for everyone.
I find that each time I have a class, I learn something different from each instructor. I can’t wait for the next one!

Trish
I went to this ski centre today for my birthday with some of my good friends. At the start it was all fine but about a quarter of the way through trisha started making my experience much worse as when I fell over and she shouted at me and my friends for being irresponsible on the slop although I wasn’t going that fast she still made me feel really bad about my self she also spat at me and threw pole at me that hit me with the sharp end. At the top of the slope there was Chris who made my experience so much better he was a light in the dark.

How bad trishas attitude was towards us
Today I went to this ski centre and meet a terrible person trisha she was jarring and seemed to have a grudge against us for no reason we weren’t cutting people off and crashing into people. She just seemed to dislike us from the moment we were in the lift. She was very Aragant and mean towards my friend who came here for his birthday but this was made bad by trishas attitude towards us just because of our age and gender.because of this she made us feel unwanted.

First time visitors
First time visitors - kids loved the Ringo Slide so much.
The staff were so in tune to each child whether they wanted to go slow, fast or be spun.
Booking, kitting up and the activity itself was so straight forward and no mucking about. Staff were lovely and freindly.
Half an hour = about 7/8 goes which includes taking the ring back to the top each time which all 3 of my kids agreed that was plenty and they thoroughly enjoyed it.
Can't beat it for the great price.
We will be back soon:)
