Poor Incident Handling and Zero Customer Support
I’m a paying subscriber to Take 5 Car Wash, and this was only my second visit with a new car I purchased three months ago. During a wash at their 2920 Derita Rd, Concord, NC location, my car was hit from behind inside the tunnel, damaging the trunk and rear bumper. Multiple cars were involved, but only mine was damaged — likely due to equipment failure or human error.
The on-site employee was rude, dismissive, and untrained, showing no concern and offering no real explanation. Worse, there was no manager on-site to handle the situation.
Since the incident, I’ve called several times with no response, and no one has contacted me about the claim I filed. This level of customer service is unacceptable, especially from a business that handles vehicles daily.
I’ve since requested to cancel my membership, and I strongly encourage others to avoid this location until they improve safety procedures, staff training, and basic customer communication.
