Garbage Everything.

I purchased a watch on the 31st, said 4-5 days delivery and arrived today on the 10th so you do the maths. The tracking is non existent and their online Shop-App is even worse. Watch is an SD1953 and to be quite honest isn't worth the money i paid for it considering all the rave reviews on this watch. The lume isn't all that good and lasts a few minutes. The bezel doesn't quite line up and the cyclops is absolutely horrendous. I doubt i'll ever wear it so will stick it far away in the back of my watch collection.
OH! The customer service if you want to call it that is shockingly bad too. WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING AGAIN FROM THIS LOT.

Having only ever bought Seiko for the…

Having only ever bought Seiko for the last 40 years or so, l wanted a tuna but at a very high price I decided maybe one day 😜 found a amazing company steeldive which make famous watches from the past, with a sekio automatic movement, great. Ordered the tuna steeldive at a amazing price. The watch came the next day before 12, packed with care and attention. Open the box and wow, the best looking watch I have seen for a while, looking like the original. Great quality. The watch box is amazing which includes a spare rubber strap to replace the stanless steel one included, spare pins a pin removing machine plus a pin tool and all the booklets plus warranty card. The watch itself is very well protected in its own packaging inside the watch box. Over the moon with my purchase. sorry so long, but I had to say wot a great service plus outstanding watch. Keep up the good work.👍

STEELDIVE SD1977T

I have a fair few watches in my collection but I've been missing a yellow dive watch.

Having scoured the Internet for weeks I was beginning to lose hope (unless I was willing to pay £££££ of course) when I stumbled upon Steeldive.

And boy am I glad I did.

This watch is absolutely stunning from an asthetic point of view and feels very pleasing on the wrist. Unlike a lot of watches at this price point it has a really good weight to it and seems extremely well made. Of course, the Seiko movement is a well proven classic.

Add in the fact that I ordered my watch on a Thursday and received it the very next day this has to be one of the best, if not the best, experiences I've had online.

Honestly, if your after a good quality dive watch, look no further.

Got the SD1970

Got the SD1970. Fast delivery and it’s a great watch - incredible spec for the money. It’s got all the features you’d expect on a much more expensive watch.

Came with a steel bracelet and a decent rubber waffle strap.

Great customer service

Great customer service. Watch arrived the very next day! Slight issue with not receiving the free rubber strap that was meant to be in the box so I sent a quick email, they got back to me with an apology and it was popped in the post separately. Would 100% use again.

I have owned a Steeldive 1953 black…

I have owned a Steeldive 1953 black faced for over a year now. It's blown me away to be honest as it's so perfect on my wrist, keeps time to +/- 3 secs day (maybe I got lucky) but it all just feels 'right'. It does not feel cheap. As a microbrand I feel Steeldive could now go beyond homange NH35 movements - though they are great beater movements. I feel if they did an original design with, maybe an ETA-based in-house movement personally I would pay £300 to £400 for it. Actually, though it's obviously based on the iconic Sub, the added lume (very good lume) on the bezel AND face the fact is pure beauty. Why Rolex never thought of this is beyond me LOL. So they added to an already timeless design and improved it. Nice! The fact they have a UK base tells me they are going places and the brand feels like it's ready to go beyond the microbrand/homage tag (which they do so well)!! I have an Orient Mako 2 on its way. Non hacking and no sapphire etc (unlike the Steeldive!) but I just enjoy changing watches so it'll be an interesting like for like.

My first microbrand watch purchase - and likely to be my BEST !

I decided for one of my new years resolutions that I would not wearing a black Casio digital watch, and instead buy five microbrand watches with a unique style to them, the best quality I could afford, that were 100m depth min waterproof (at least) and had a nice luminescence for night view. The first of the series of watch purchases was a steel automatic watch from Steeldive, (Cardiff UK), an SD 1938 with leather strap. rated to 200m. It is styled on a Panerai Radiomir Marina Militare (good luck if you know what that is, I didn't) but thats what the reviewers said. It was being sold on eBay at various prices and often around £150.00 but I bought it directly from them on Wednesday, for £104.99 including shipping. To my surprise it arrived this morning ! Its packaging was amazing, coming in a moulded foam inside, injection moulded PEL shipping box, typically used to ship electronics around the world. Lovely tags on the watch, a certificate and instruction booklet, and the watch itself wrapped in protective file, and lastly sealed in a thick plastic ziplock bag, Watch was ticking, time was correct, and it's now on my wrist. Brown strap is beautiful. I charged up the luminescence in a few seconds by pointing my watch at a spotlight, and it immediately had that satisfying green glow, which (for a few minutes) could be seen in daylight. I am absolutely DELIGHTED with (a) my purchase, (b) the price (unbelievable) and (c) the service from Steeldive has been amazing ! Find them by Googling steeldiveuk
