If I could give them no stars I would
If I could give them no stars I would. What others have said is true. Obviously when someone makes a personalized book/gift it is needed as such and has no other value to anyone else. Well whenever my shipment is delivered it's going straight in the trash because I not only was told that I should have been aware than it takes 1-2 weeks to be made, but also that paying for expedited shipping only means that it will be shipped, after said completion of book. Once told this I paid another company to create my books and got them done and bound as a same day service for 10x less the amount of money that I paid. When asked for order to be cancelled and refunded, magically my order had now a tracking number, wait I thought it would take 1-2 weeks to be created, now it was created in 2 days. These guys are a complete rip off and look the other way before purchasing, this was gift for my husband's donor family which was meant to be given on Father's day. If the book you are creating is important to you and has meaning, go with a different company, this company acts as if it's hard up for money with little to no care about customer service or support.

thank you for your feedback and a customer representative has responded to all your emails and questions. Here is our latest reply:
We've been doing this for almost 20 years now and we try to be as transparent as possible when it comes to shipping, hence the many places where you can read about our delivery times. Then of course, also, things can happen in production and there are Holidays to take into account for longer production times sometimes.
We do deeply apologize for the delay you are experiencing. However, we received your order on the 5th of June and began the process on the 6th to produce your order, now, as the distributor states it should reach you any day now (hopefully). This is only 10-12 days after purchase, which is within the "about 1-2 weeks" that we state.

Really pleased with the books
Really pleased with the books. The process is pretty easy to follow, I was able to make the book look how I wanted. Could do with some more font options but I liked having a framework of layouts to choose from and a preview function to see what I was doing. Delivery communications good and books delivered on time. Sorry for writing this unfriendly comment but I am completely upset with the business behaviour and attitude of this company:
1. No online tracking available!
2. Getting no response at all after 3 mails in 5 days is simply unacceptable.
3. A production time above 7 working days (excluding shipping) different than published too long.
4. Making their customers believe they can get the shipment „latest“ in 7 days (paying premium shipping) the height of cheek.
Please take above into consideration when planning to place your order - my intended 80th birthday present became worthless. Thus, my first and for sure last time experience with this shop.

Regarding your emails, as a customer representative has explained to you, they ended up in our spam-filter which we apologise for. As soon as they were discovered we replied to you.
Regarding deliveries there are no guarantees which we try to be as clear as possible about. When we are contacted regarding deliveries we always say "the sooner you order the better because anything can happen along the way". We do not say "the latest" anywhere in our communication: Priority shipping: 2-5 week days. Shipping does not affect the production time which normally is about 2-5 week days.
I'm sorry if this somehow was unclear, we strive to create and make you order as fast as possible while maintaining a very high quality product.
I'm also hopeful that the recipient of your book will be very happy about it whenever it is received.

Pricing needs to be clearer.
The book looks great as advertised.
The problem is that pricing is not well spelled out ahead of time. I could find nothing on the site that indicated that I would have to buy a minimum of 10 books, not until I actually went to pay did I know this. Thus I spent multiple hours before finding out that I would have to spend hundreds more than I thought. I had to change it to a paperback in order to make it affordable, which was disappointing. The number of pages increases the cost, understandably so; however, nowhere does it indicate what the cost per pages is.
Your pricing should be clearer.

It's only for 2 out of 7 products where you need to purchase a minimum of 10 copies/order. We try to be very clear on our pricing page showing that: Basic-books (28-1000 pages, minimum 10 books/order) Note! black/white interior, full color cover
You can easily see the exact price for your book on the production part of the site (without creating the actual book). Choose the desired number of pages, click on "Calculate price" and the amount will appear.
