VERY BAD EXPERIENCE, THEY POST ITEMS ON THEIR WEB PAGE THAT DON'T HAVE ON STOCK. AFTER PAYING $80 TO SHIP 12 ITEMS THEY CHARGED ME ADDITIONALLY FOR SHIPPING, DON'T BUY FROM THEM, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Promote Sawyer!

I ordered a board, tracking was stuck on waiting for approval for a week so I called up the store, I spoke to a few people that honestly did not care, but I finally got this guy named sawyer. This guy went above and beyond to help me, all while being super polite and respectful, and if I ever order again, it’ll be because of sawyer. He is Easily the best employee skateamerica has ever had.

Has to be fake clothing

Has to be fake clothing. i ordered 2x pairs of DC shoes. i pull each pair out of the box and literally after wearing them for 1 second they began deteriorating. The shoes were obviously fake because they started peeling at the seams in a bunch of different parts of the shoes. I wore both pairs each a day and they look like they've been worn 6 months. The Diamond Supply Co hat i ordered is fake too, when you flip it upside down all the stitching around the brim of the cap is already coming apart and you can tell its fake because the hat is blue on top and red on the brim, and the underside of the brim has both red and blue stitching mixed in. I thought the prices were too good to be true. I'm %99.9 sure their clothing is fake.

Would leave 0 stars if I could

Would leave 0 stars if I could. Should have checked reviews before ordering online from this place. Spent $103.17 on two pairs shoes that my husband really wanted. He’s been anxious for some decent shoes! So we placed this order just to be told a week or so after that one of the pairs he ordered was out of stock. That’s it, no info as to which ones, just that they are out of stock. So we played the waiting game to see which pair would arrive. Finally, we get them just to find out they aren’t the right size. We ask about a refund or exchange (we’d be happy to get the same pair in the right size). The answer was “sure but you’ll have to pay for shipping to return them”. So let me get this straight... we spent $103.17 on this order which included $13 shipping costs, just to find out we have to spend another $25 on shipping them back ourselves. WOW talk about horrible customer service. Breaking it down we are now going to be paying $60+ for shoes that were $45 and we won’t even have a pair or shoes to show for.

Coming from many years of retail and customer service myself, to now owning my business, all I can say is good luck to you guys. You clearly are behind on the times with your customer care and order policies. I checked the site and not one single policy is listed stating the customer would be liable for shipping costs on the return.

My advice - don’t order online from here. You’ll be thankful you didn’t.

My Transaction Went Well!

First off, I used to browse through SkateAmericas website back in high school 14 years ago. They’ve been around for a while! I’m only giving 4 stars because the pair of shoes I ordered weren’t actually in stock, and that was the main reason I placed the order. I ordered 6 items and 2 were out of stock. From other reviews I’ve read , this is where SkateAmerica would incorrectly refund people, or send them the wrong items in place of their items that were out of stock. That didn’t happen for me, they shipped within a day and sent a shipping confirmation email, stating that I was partially refunded for the shoes and a t shirt, but was charged the full amount on my card. Two days later, if that, they refunded me the proper amount without me emailing or asking. So in the end I got a hoodie, socks, tank top and shirt for great prices. They also carry a lot of old, years prior model shoes and decks, stuff that would be considered almost a rarity now. I feel like all of that stuff is probably actually out of stock. My transaction went well though besides the let down of an older, not in production anymore, model of DVS shoes that I really wanted not actually being in stock.

No issues at all!

Great service. One of my items was out of stock and they emailed me with options. The only issue was on me for not seeing the message. Once I called them, I had my complete order in 3 days. Their service department was very easy to reach, very friendly and had my changes made within a 5 minute call. I have read a lot of other negative reviews, and can honestly say I had NO issues with anything. I will definitely be doing more business with SkateAmerica.

CROOKS!

Same as everyone else! Ordered but nothing received and no response to any follow-up. Total scam artists! They should be put in jail. DO NOT BUY!!!

Really deserves -5 stars...My son used…

Really deserves -5 stars...My son used his Birthday money to order 2 hoodies. Well that was last May he will never recieved them. Numerous emails and messages left on the only # 4155494459 I can find for them. And nothing very sad and horrible service dont waste your hard earned money

I love skate America.

I love skate America.
I'm in Australia and the support team is super helpful and the website is easy to use.
There is heaps of great products at awesome prices even with our terrible exchange rate :).
Been buying form these guys for years and will continue to.

Great website

Wasn't sure if I should trust website bc a couple bad reviews but they had a skateboard I needed. i talked to the people from the website on a live chat and they checked that they had the skateboard I wanted in their warehouse. Very nice people and a fine website. Livechats legit

Terrible company for buying overseas

Terrible terrible company for buying overseas they failed to mention the import tax anywhere on their web page or at checkout and after paying 50 dollars for jeans and a further 22 dollars for delivery I was then told my package was being held until I paid a further 22 dollars to the courier. I will not be buying from them again as theyre staff were extremely rude and unhelpful I would advise anyone to avoid them completely and should you order from here expect to pay for delivery twice

So many products to choose from and …

So many products to choose from and reasonable pricing! The employees were so helpful when I needed to ship a return from Colorado and get an exchange. I plan to do more shopping with them in the future!!
