I would recommend that anyone avoid this store. As you can read in many of the reviews, the customer service is not focused on helping clients but rather on arguing with them.
We called the store before placing our order and were assured that both bikes were available and would be delivered in time for a trip we had booked. However, soon after ordering, one of the bikes turned out not to be available, and that’s when the trouble began. Simple Bike Store was slow to respond; several times we waited 2, 3, even up to 5 weeks for a reply, despite multiple reminders. After 5 weeks, we were even refused the option to call and speak to someone directly.
We suggested alternative bikes multiple times, but never received clear answers on pricing or delivery times. Excuses kept coming (it's Black Friday, it's Christmas, it's the only low season of the year, the boss is abroad, employees are ill), but no solutions. One week before our trip, we still had no confirmed bike or delivery date, and decided to cancel everything, including flights.
Even though the available bike was just sitting in their store (undelivered because the order was incomplete), we were told we couldn’t cancel without paying a €150 fee. After months of back-and-forth, they reduced it to €100, we were left with no other option than to take an incomplete order, with no use for the bike, for now.
