Excellent Care
Had the need for an ambulance I Chichester on the 26th June 2025. It arrived within 20 minutes, the team were lovely and caring. The wound was stitched in the ambulance, so no need for A&E A very positive experience in a stressful situation. Thank you all.

Comment on report by one of paramedics is BS making up something I’d never said as it never ever happened!
Still trying after 3 months to get actual truth 😡

The basically refused to attend when someone was unable to get out of bed or stand up as they kept falling down. We were given loads of reasons whey they couldn't come. They then started to tell us lies that they were going to send someone but the next call said they weren't. Then they just stopped calling after they said they would call within an hour. In the end they never came or called.
We also had one callback suggesting he goes to outpatients. This was for someone who couldn't stand up! Very disappointing service!

This is a big shout out for Finn, Dominic & George
This is a big shout out for Southern Central Ambulance Service.
Just amazing. They came really quickly and they were just brilliant. I was in terrible pain and Finn, Dominic and George sorted me out very quickly and were so kind. They listened to me and had me stable within such a short time. I felt so much better after their care and they then took me to hospital and managed to get me into the best place for my problem. I cannot thank them enough. Really dedicated and a wonderful team. Thank you all! Catherine HH

As an employee
The lovely people over at recruitment, particularly Ms. Povey, made the difficult and arduous process of being recruited internationally as easy as possible, the subsequent training, encouragement, work life balance and accommodations made to ensure the transition has been as seamless as possible have been amazing.
Working for them I feel respected as an individual as well as an employee.
Looking forward to many years with this Trust.

An excellent service
A female crew attended to me on Monday early morning. They were efficient, calm, professional and truly lovely and they assessed and transported me Basingstoke A&E. I want to say a huge thank you and credit to the team. Ambulance crew are always working in tireless and challenging conditions and I have experience with my very sick husband a few years ago, my dad and now myself and I cannot rate them highly enough .. thank you I sadly don’t have the names of the crew but it was 3 lively ladies

As I was unconscious I do not know how…
As I was unconscious I do not know how prompt the ambulance crew were in responding to the 999 alarm system that I am required to wear.
They got me to the hospital seemingly with little trouble (although I expect it was for them as I live up 4 flights of steps).
My problem was that they delivered me to emergency in just a pair of shorts stained with vomit. They had collected a bag with some of my meds in it, two differing pairs of glasses that I sometimes wear and two mobile phones. Nothing else though. No keys and no wallet. It therefore cost me £100 needlessly, to get home and into my apartment and I had to return in hospital PJ's two days after initial admission. To leave without my keys seemed ill advised hence the mark, but everything else appears to have saved my life and one of the crew came to visit me which was kind.

Uber were quicker than the ambulance
When someone has collapsed banged their head on the way down outside, is not responsive but is breathing. So you dial 999 and ask for an ambulance, and when the call is finally answered and the woman wants to ask you questions and after you explain the above, you ask if an ambulance is on it's way to be told that they are very busy tonight and that they can't tell me how long an ambulance will be.
She wants to ask me more questions so I tell her that ordering an Uber to take us to the hospital would be quicker then this messing around, so I tell her that I'm putting her on hold and I use my app to order an Uber that can even tell tell me that It will be 4 minutes before arriving.
This woman then calls me back and tells me that an ambulance is on its way, so I said don't bother my Uber is 3 minutes away and your 999 service sucks and in future I'll be sure to use my app if there are any further emergencies.
As usual with the NHS it's not about how much money they have or even not having enough people being hired in these positions, It's about whoever is coming up with these bright ideas of asking 50 questions before you even send an ambulance. I live in Milton Keynes and you're lucky if you hear one ambulance a week, now if I'm so called busy then you're gonna hear me a whole lot more than once a week. This incident happened at around 10pm so we're not even talking about the so called night clubs, which are really more pubs with small dance floors in Milton Keynes at closing times where the ambulance service might actually have some work to do.

My first time of using this service today due to mobility issues. I can honestly say my return journey was an absolute pleasure with my driver Pip. He was so professional in his driving and people skills. A very upbeat person who is very passionate about his job. A very valid member of the team. A massive thank you to him for making today so less stressful for me.

I would like to say how grateful I am.
I would like to say how grateful I am to all the Doctors and nurses A&E staff, Ambulance Paramedics, 999 call handers and support staff at Wexham. In these days of the NHS constantly coming under attack I received nothing but the best care from all concerned. On Monday 18 September I experienced a severe reaction to food that left me incapacitated. My wife called 999 and the call handler was calm and directed her what to do while calling an ambulance. Within 10 minutes, probably less, two fantastic Paramedics arrived who made sure I was stable and then took me to Wexham Park where after a very short wait, maybe 10 minutes I was seen by Doctors and Nurses in A&E who very quickly hooked me up and worked to fully ensure I was stable. Even though I felt OK after about an hour they refused to let me go for several hours while they monitored me as required. Thank you to ALL the team for their fantastic care. I and my wife are grateful to the large number of people who swing into action and because of them I am fine and alive!

Fantastic
I use the patient transport service quite often and I think it is fantastic. All the drivers I have met are totally professional and very considerate. Also the bookings people on the phone are very thorough and very considerate when dealing with sometimes complicated requirements. What a fabulous advert for the NHS!

ANTHONY..
ANTHONY... or was it Pugsy? Pudsy? from andover visited my 94 year old mother today. Paramedics are just fantastic and he was just fabulous. He was empathetic, patient, good humoured and tough with mum as well. I think paramedics are the hidden force in the nhs and they should have greater status. Prefer to have a paramedic visit than a GP anyday. Thankyou.

Poor Ambulance Service Milton Keynes
The recent visit from Ambulance Services in Milton Keynes for my elderly eighty plus mother was so disappointing and depressing. I was interrogated repeatedly because they thought it wasn't as critical as they were told. My mother continues to be in the Hospital for the third day now. The lead ambulance staff was aggressive and rude. They have left me with a feeling of extreme despair!
