The lab did not have the order when I got there. I was able to give them a copy that was emailed to me so that was fine but it caused a 30 min delay. I was also told I would get results same day and I am still waiting for an email

Thanks your feedback and our apologies for the confusion at the lab. We submit your physician's test order immediately, on the labs system, we too are confused when they can't find the orders. Now we have encountered name/spelling issues but this sounds like they just couldn't find it at all. We also email your confirmation, so you also have a record, just in case. Matthew did fax over the order as well, but it sounds like your copy resolved the confusion.
We offer "same day testing" and clearly describe when results are back. In listening to your call with Matthew, he notes "results at typically back in 1-3 business days". Unlike many others, we also release results as the come in to help you get information quickly, and avoid the stress of making you wait until all results are final.
Again, sorry for the delays, hopefully this answers your questions.

Thank you for your feedback on our services. Are there cheaper options, yes. We encourage everyone to consider what they value, before testing with anyone. Consider these aspects when selecting any diagnostic service:
- Do they provide an actual, live person to speak with to assess your risk, exposure, symptoms and concerns?
- Does that call meet the medical guidelines of a telephonic exam?
- Are those people certified in infections disease? Or are they just a call center reading a script?
- Is someone available to talk with at all, let alone during the entire process?
- Do they also provide clinical experts to speak with regarding your results or are they just posted somewhere or emailed?
- Can they provide clarity and distinction with normal and abnormal outcomes?
- Do they offer treatment options from the same prescribing physician?
- Do they make their service ratings available on a public site like Trustpilot? Who verifies every review?
Do these services cost more than a "self service" website. Absolutely, and we hear from our patients all the time how much they value being able to talk to qualified people everyday! We also "see" that value in our overall Trustpilot rating.

The moment I walked thru the door I…
The moment I walked thru the door I felt I was rushed. After giving blood and giving my urine sample which was left on the counter expose to any type of contamination, I was told “it’s ok it has your name your ok to leave” without securing my sample into containers. I don’t have insurance so the $300 is out of my pocket. I’m hoping that the urine sample wasn’t contaminated. My urine sample was not contained immediately. It was still in the collection cup when I was told it’s ok to leave. I am a class A CDL driver for 27 yrs and urine samples are put in containers and secured immediately as not to contaminate the sample. Just because my name is on it doesn’t mean anything it was still in the collection cup and not secured.

Thank you for sharing your experience at the lab and especially your concerns. Urine samples are actually quite stable, and once in the container, any external "contamination" risk is mitigated. That's why the collection instructions on clarified at the lab.
Your results were final on the 14th just a day after testing, another confirmation the sample was valid, and processed rapidly! Based on your documented results, it's clear all your tests were completed and the sample was fine although we understand how the handling could cause concern. We've partnered with Quest Diagnostics with over 2,250 CLIA certified locations nationwide, performing move than 50 million tests annually. Many locations allow walk-ins while others only scheduled appointments simply due to volume that continues to increase every year, let alone with pandemics! Our apologies for you feeling "rushed" and we will share your feedback with the lab itself so they can review process improvement.

The whole process felt unprofessional
The whole process felt unprofessional. The person on the phone got my last name, my phone number, and email address wrong. I walked in and was told could not receive medical attention without a mask, and they didn’t have any masks to give away. Which is complete nonsense, as I paid $259 for my visit out of pocket, I could be handed a mask that costs less than 2 cents for Quest Diagnostics to purchase. After I walked back to my car in the pouring rain to grab a mask after the pandemic is officially over, I came back in and was saw for my visit. The lady who took me into the room had no idea what I was there for, had to pull up the tests I ordered and paid for out of pocket to show her.

Sorry to hear of your experience and since you haven't responded to our text messages, will try here. COVID caused many lab process and procedure changes which is why we include reminders in our emails and messages. Depending on outbreaks in the lab service area, masks and other protocols can change. It's the same reason we remind patients to "drink plenty of water" so we get good samples for testing.
We also remind patients to call us immediately with any issues are the lab. Names can get misspelled, which we apologize happened in your case. We also avoid entering your phone number or email to the lab, both for privacy and to help you avoid constant junk mail from them directly. Who wants 3-5 messages a week from a lab, not us!
Again apologies for your experience and we will share them directly with the lab to help them improve as well.
