dreadful law breaking company

What a dreadful law breaking excuse for a company! Made my gel nail requirements very clear when visiting the Harrogate store, was sold 2am london hema free nail primer which turned out to be the biggest lead of rubbish as my nails lifted literally every couple of hours! Finally had chance to visit the Harrogate store (they knew when I first visited that I'm not local) to return it as its not fit for purpose. Refused as I had no receipt, yet showed a bank statement along with the other 2 items I had bought. Emailed head office & was refused also. I sent reminders about uk laws regarding faulty items & items not fit for purpose, because clearly these cowboys have forgotten; which clearly states that I am covered under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to reject it, get it repaired, replaced, or get a refund. Proof of purchase, including a bank statement, is acceptable for this. The jumped up little pen pusher then replies that no more follow up emails will be answered & my case is now closed. Thieving little twts! Avoid this company like the plague, I'm reporting this to every governing body I can find!!!!

I bought a GiGi Mini Pro Kit

I bought a GiGi Mini Pro Kit, got home and the can of wax had wax all down the side of can. Got wax all over myself, bathroom and clothes. Very disappointed with the quality of this product.

I purchased 2 shampoo which was on…

I purchased 2 shampoo which was on offer and buy one and one half price and I paid £59.91. When I tried it was horrible and I asked the customer care how to return it. She advised me to return it to one of their stores in Leeds.

Because I opened one of them and I didn’t want to lie to them I took the one which was not opened. I asked if I could exchange.
The customer service had to call around to speak to one of their manager but couldn’t.

In the end what she did was gave me the price of the one which was half price and left the full price for the one I didn’t return.

I felt that was ripping. Even if it was their policy still felt treated unfairly and the customer services were unprofessional and rude.
I was the one who should felt annoyed not the customer services.

Rewards program is a scam

Came into the store to make a purchase, noticed that my personal information was incorrect for their rewards program. After zero help from the person working, called the 800 number and boy did it go from mild "annoyance" to are you "kidding me" super fast. Not helpful and they made everything worse. Super lame, apparently the store transactions were canceled. After going through everything turns out the store dropped the ball and the 800 people clearly do not make enough money to do their job. Over an hour speaking with a supervisor we finally figured out what happened. This is too much for a rewards program. Do not give them your information not sure what they do with it.

Worst customer service!

Staff are rude. Complaints are not fully investigated & no exchanges are considered after 30 days even if faulty. Consumer statutory rights are a myth according to customer services.

Mistakes, Mistakes, Failures!

I ordered 5 items online, which were shipped out pretty quickly. Once one set of my items arrived and the contents had spilled all over the inside of the box, which resulted in loss of product(s), and were possibly contaminated since the lids were no longer secured (these two items were Motions Relaxer). My remaining 3 items were not received, although the status on the Sally’s app showed “Complete”.

I phoned and received a pleasant customer service representative who requested a resend of all 5 products (free of charge). I also requested that the relaxers be shipped in a plastic bag, or with some type of lid securing method—I was advised that she had put that in the notes per my request.

Yesterday, I received the 2 Motion’s Relaxers, but they WERE NOT secured per the customer service representative’s advisement. Fortunately, there was no spillage this time. Just a few minutes ago, I received the other 3 items… I order the “Sea Breeze,” astringent, and the bottle was less than HALF FULL! At first I thought that it had spilled during transit, however; that is NOT the case! The top was completely closed and tight, there were no punctures anywhere on bottle, and the box was not stained and sans the smell that the astringent would’ve left. I’ve added pictures of the aforesaid. Do better Sally’s!

I have been a client of this company…

I have been a client of this company for 20 years, but they do not value their customers and do not take into account the interests of even their customers. I made a purchase online, which they lost, but the money was not returned to me and nothing was offered, only expressed their regrets. Therefore, I will never use their services again and deactivated my membership in this company.

I came into Sally’s looking for an at…home bleaching set

I came into Sally’s looking for an at home bleaching set for my roots. My salon wanted to charge me $500 to do this even though I only had 2 inches of outgrowth (not to mention I still have platinum blonde) but everything I bought from here was only $79!! I also went back to buy a toner since I forgot the first time, and the 2 ladies that helped me each time were amazing and my hair came out BETTER THAN EVER!! I am very happy and glad I went there; will definitely be going back for all hair care needs :) thanks ladies!!

After reviewing what store had the products I wanted, I placed a pick up order. It was later canceled by Sally Beauty with no explanation or other options. Don't offer pick up orders if you are unable to follow through.

Sally Beauty - Immoral; unethical illegal practices - Extremely poor Customer Service

One star is far too generous to reflect the extremely poor customer service experienced .
My wife bought from one of Sally's store in Stockton-on-Tees a Wella hair colour tube which was defective, with its content solid/
She took the defective item back and asked for a replacement, not a refund. The store refused.
In view of this totally unreasonable stand, I contacted Sally's customer service. I spend considerable time explaining the problem.
Although the defect was so obvious, they refused act fairly or reasonably.
The content of the tube wouldn't come out. Also, they refused to register a complaint.
In view of the refusal to replace the defective item which was unfit for the purpose. Asked to return the defective item and asked for a refund. They refused both.
During the discussion I made reference to some relevant legal principles and requirements, which not only the person was ignorant of the legal requirements. I also requested relevant information and made a SAR request because of the disputed facts in order to pursue our legitimate complaint, but again they acted unreasonable and refused.
I also asked to escalate my complaint to a senior manager, again refused. I also requested copy of their return and privacy policy. Again refused.
Based on our personal experiences, I would warn other customers. I would not recommend this company. I would encourage customers to use alternative sellers so to avoid disappointment.

Unfailingly helpful staff.

I have used the Guildford branch of Sally's every couple of months for the last 4 years. The staff could not be more helpful and make every effort to find the right product for you. There was a very elderly customer in front of me today and the staff member could not have been more patient and engaging.
Thanks Sally's in Guildford, a number of retailers in our town could learn a few lessons! I went to get a screen cover for my phone, on the same trip today, and the whole transaction was completed without the staff member uttering a word!!

Appalling retail and professionalism

Took my daughter to Sally beauty in Exeter, Marsh Barton today 2 January 2025. It was my birthday and thought that I would treat my eldest daughter to some products or equipment within the store on arrival. Member of staff was smoking outside the main entrance. Once in the store we were greeted by the other member of staff with a good morning which then proceeded in both female members of staff following myself and two children aged 14 and 10 years around the store which I tested by walking back and forwards along an aisle and every time I moved they moved. I then questioned this with the smoking member of staff that I had seen on the way in she informed me this is her job.

I have worked in retail as security but do not appreciate being followed around the store when we were the only ones in the shop and there were no other customers to be seen. I was made to fill as was my 14-year-old daughter that we had already committed an offence and done something wrong by simply entering the store and browsing for items. We promptly left after my discussion with the foreman member of staff and fill this needed to be reviewed so that other members of the public and or that of professionals who may be using the store or aware that they will be monitored for simply being in the store

I purchased a curling iron on line

I purchased a curling iron on line. Took 2 1/2 weeks to receive it…. Once I finally got it took it out of the package and the handle was so sticky my hand got stuck to it. I have no idea what was on it. I’m guessing that’s why it was on clearance..
I tried to process a refund on my own online and couldn’t do it because for some reason the order number didn’t match my ZIP Code so I had to call it took me three phone calls and five hours of my time to finally get a refund shipping label emailed to me. I sent my refund out immediately and it is now three weeks later and I still don’t have my refund in my bank account. I will never buy a thing from Sally again.

I made online order at sallys website…

I made online order at sallys website at 28th of November 2024, for a shaver and after making payment, notice came on screen saying the payment didn't go through, and at this point I've tried to order again.
Few hours later I checked my account and I noticed I've been charged twice for two orders.
I've telephoned to Sallys straightaway and I cancelled one and I've asked for refund.
I've been told once they receive the order from delivery company they will refund me.
I've telephoned them again few day later and they confirmed that they have the shaver.
Today is 12th of December and I still didn't get refund.
I've telephoned to sallys and I've been told it takes up to 14 working days to get refund.
It is absolutely Scam.
This company do investment on people's money and they make you wait for 3 weeks to get refund.
Scamers. Cheaters, bunch of thives.
