Hopeless
Hopeless. I ordered a T shirt following the Leeds Marathon. No T shirt and impossible to contact them. They do not respond to emails. But have kept my money!!

STAY WELL AWAY
Trying to get in touch with someone from this company is trying to contact the King!!
They don't respond to emails and the telephone system is a joke as it goes straight to an answerphone and no-one comes back to you
After the 2 races I've entered for 2025 I will never do one with this company again, absolute jokers!!!

Sneaky fees and clunky process
I’ve tried to enter my family of four for Lincoln 10k, only to find to find everyone has to be entered under a different email address, presumably to ensure we all pay the 2.75 admin fee on top of the not insignificant entry fee. Entries default to iTab purchase as well.
The web interface is clunky, drop down options don’t work and all in all it was too much hassle to register for one, let alone all of us. A real shame, I’ve enjoyed the event in the past.

Be honest about entry fees up front and…
Be honest about entry fees up front and not when you get to the payment page. It's a little outrageous it's like buying concert tickets always a slight con when an admin fee is added at the end!
Also I've done every Lincoln 10k from the beginning bar I think 2 in the 90's. Course needs a revamp and the starting pen every year is a debacle, it's a running race so make the start wider for the runners and use the width of the road or at least 3/4 like we used to do.! Great event always messed up by the start!

I find this company very expensive…
I find this company very expensive along side high admin fees to make any changes.
If you want to do a running event look to see if your local running club hosts any and they won't charge the earth.

Yet again us residents of the Ermine…
Yet again us residents of the Ermine will literally be trapped on the estate all morning, and those of us who work all week, and Saturdays, so only have Sundays to do shopping etc, will have to rush around in the afternoon just because the city council decide they want to close half the roads for hours, for some fun run which could easily be held out of the city.
Tilbridge lane would be perfect, with parking at the showground.
But no, year after year we have to endure hundreds of cars parked all over the estate, then the roads closed so we cant go anywhere for hours, just for some fun runners.

'Run for All' charging to much for entry fees...
Just booked for my local Sheffield Half Marathon. 'Run for All' generally organises the Sheffield half marathon relatively well.
However, what concerns me is that the entry fee is getting too expensive. On top of it there is a 10% booking fee which is most annoying.
If I'm honest its putting me off running the Sheffield half, so I think 'Run for All' needs to relook at what they are charging going forwards.

Yorkshire Marathon 2023
Having been rather ill in the preceding weeks to the Yorkshire Marathon I emailed a request to the organisers to let me defer to the 10 mile route instead as I simply wasn't fit enough to take on the full marathon. But unfortunately, even though the 10 mile event was on the same day I was told I would need to pay again. Alternatively I was told I could defer my Marathon entry to the following year, but would need to pay again!!! The tone of the emails were very blunt and frankly rude. The person I was corresponding with basically was prepared to put my health at risk by trying to offer not viable alternatives other than to do the marathon, which due to my illness prior could have resulted in a very negative outcome for myself. For a fitness based company, their attitude towards the welfare of their entrants is diabolical. I will certainly not be booking any more events via this company.

Yorkshire Marathon 2023
Could not have asked for more for my first marathon, great atmosphere and crowds. They even had a 6 hour run/walk pacer which helped me get underway, got rid of the nerves and made my day. Thank you so much, brilliant

Yorkshire marathon was well organised
Yorkshire marathon was well organised, the park and ride was easy to find. Only issue was 2 lanes into on on the airfield which meant 45mins to park the car. Could easy fill up via 2 lanes to make it quicker. But other than that, had a top day. Well organised and signposted. Medal was ace too!

Sheffield 10k was great
Sheffield 10k was great - only criticism would be the bottleneck just after the start line, the space between barriers seemed narrower than last year.

Middlesbrough 10k
Middlesbrough 10k
Big big queues for number collection despite separating surnames into 3 sections. This encroaches into your warm up and race prep if you don’t take someone to collect your number for you.
Bag collection- about 10 people will look at you but not really do anything until you ask if you can just collect your own bag. Then they look in the wrong section.
Prize money is not listed on the website and is very different year on year. Some years are large cash prizes some years are low value vouchers for expensive running shops. I would recommend Darlington instead. Same price to enter and prizes are much better and reach further down the field and similar time of year.

York 10k sort it out 🤷
Ran the York 10k today for the 4th time and have to say never again. Despite feedback every year regarding lack of toilets again 20 portaloo's for 4000+ runners. Arrived at 8.30 after a long queue getting into Racecourse. Straight to portaloo for a 45 minute queue, my wife only just made the start and I know lots did not. Sorry but until you sort this out never again for us. We race most weekends and this must be one of the worst set ups we have seen for the amount of runners.
It's a shame as we have enjoyed coming to York for the weekend for this event.

Brilliantly organised but tough hilly course
I have to fully commend the organisers (Leeds 10k). A brilliantly friendly and welcoming race, very well organised with good number of water stations. Can't fault it, with a good lovely route through the city centre and beyond. Good cross section of runners and set up well to accommodate different types of runners and times.
Only note is that this is NOT a flat course, there's lots of slopes up and down, with a very steep climb at the 8-9km mark which stopped many in their tracks.
That aside thank you. Great and recommended.

Don’t do it
Hardly any toilets (less than 10) massive queues, and too far from start was late to the start. First half nice and scenic second half around all the side streets of city centre too many twists and turns, felt like I was running round in circles. Route not signposted well or cordoned off people walking in front of runners. Water stations were stupid one before a mile and then not until 7-8k on the hottest day of the year. Run out of t-shirts despite people had paid for them. Please get a better route and hull city council
Sort yourself out

Gorgeous weather…
I love runforall😊. I participated many times, and I totally understand it must be a logistical nightmare, but today wasn’t the best of experiences.
Why did we have a water stop so early, just under 1 mile, and then nothing until we ran past the 7k point? It was sweltering!
Also when I went to collect my pre purchased t shirt there wasn’t any!! All gone, not even a bag with a medal in, although I did have two mars bars and crisps in the one I did get, although I eventually got a medal after queuing again in the non purchased t shirt line.
How disappointing, maybe I should have run faster than 60 minutes and I may have got one.
The problem was there was no one checking the names of who’d paid for a t shirt, therefore anyone could have walked up a taken one.
I felt so sorry the the very young army cadet who was getting flak from runners who were disappointed, of which there was very many.
It’s not that I’m looking for a refund, and if you can’t send me a t shirt that I paid for then I would prefer that you donate the cost of another
t shirt to one of your given charities.
I hope someone finds the time and energy to reply to this😊

Leeds Marathon
Great cause , great course , great spectators . Dreadful organisation. Long q’s to get into the stadium, little or no signage . Once into the stadium there were long q’s for the toilets that blocked the passageways . No staff directing these q’s or directing desperate runners to the other side of the stadium where the toilets were empty.
A melee of people searching for where they needed to go to drop their bags, find the start line. The long disorganised queue for the bag drop was huge .
Eventually bag drop collected it was a rush to search for the start pens to discover the start was delayed 15 minutes
Collecting the bag post event. I cannot recall a bigger **** show . A scrum of hot dehydrated exhausted runners 7/8 deep, 20 metres across cramed into a building trying to retrieve their bags from a bunch of disorganised children. Not a single adult managing/helping them . This wasn’t just very bad, it was dangerous I nearly fainted, I imagine others did. It was fortunate all the runners were doing there very best to remain good humoured .
In the 100 + events in which I have participated this is the most disorganised , poorly managed under staffed event I have attended . A great shame .
