I took my disabled son for a second…
I took my disabled son for a second blood draw after quest had used the wrong tube to test how well his seizure medication was working. When I got there they could not find the script. The very young rec was rude and refused to call a supervisor and saled a piece of paper with customer service’s number in it . I called and they said they would email the original script . Her tall male coworker then came in and used his size to try and intimidate me and stated I was aggressive ( I was assertive ) when asking to have the blood draw to maintain my disabled son’s health. He threatened me with supervisors he said he called . My son he’s been crying and shaking ever since

refuse to comply with HIPAA records requests
Absolutely refuse to give me or my attorney copies of my medical and billing records. They keep saying "Sir we sent it to your email" Multiple times already. I run an online store I flawlessly receive emails from everyone except Quest diagnostic for some reason. You are better off letting a random street hobo draw your blood. Do like me and call your state AG to remind them that they have 30 days to comply with records requests per HIPAA

Unethical, Unprofessional, Disrespectful
I checked myself in on my phone as requested at the Wallingford Quest. I realized after I did that that I was in the wrong building. I had no way to cancel my check in. I went to the correct building asap. Apparently they called me while i wasn't there. I was late by a few minutes unintentionally. I waited and waited and finally asked if they knew i was there. They were very dismissive and said you're on the board. They never asked why I wasn't there when they called me or acknowledged me or communicated with me in any way. There was only ignoring me. I finally decided to leave after 45 minutes. I caught someone's attention to let them know i was going to reschedule and tried to tell them why I was late and they closed the door in my face!!!! I was calm and speaking normally. Two other patients couldn't believe it! I plan on letting my doctor know. I was basically being disrespected and shunned with no explanation or communication, like they were high school bullies. Im still stunned.

worst billing service ever!!
The terrible customer service this company provides continues with the WORST billing service I've ever experienced. I paid my bill via bank service on 5/9/25 (I have the bank receipt), but I am still getting the SAME bill for the SAME srvice on 6/8/25. This requires me to waste my time looking up my bank payment records and calling Quest (with a 15 minute wait time) to find out what the problem is!! Of course the billing department got my payment on 5/9!! Why are they sending out another bill on 6/8 ????

GREAT EXPERIENCE
Went to the one on 1745 US HIGHWAY 192 in Clermont FL. Christine was GREAT. So understanding of my fears and made me feel so comfortable. I was apprehensive about the bad reviews, but I wanted to make my own decision. I highly recommend Christine.

Elizabeth at the Celebration office was great. I usually have an issue when my blood is drawn and get stuck multiple times. She took her time and got it on the first stick.

The phlebotomist has probably never smiled in her life
While competent to draw blood, the tech was cold, dismissive and apparently doesn't think older people are worth smiling at or being pleasant to.

Billing department is a scam
I would give them zero stars if I could for their billing department. They claimed they never received my check, so I paid over the phone and told if they receive the checks they will cash them and reimburse me within 10 business days. It is now 4 months, 3 phone calls, on hold forever to be told it will now take 30-40 days to receive a check because I paid by a paper check! Beyond frustrating. Never again.

What an unprofessional and pathetic…
What an unprofessional and pathetic customer service. One star is too much. Look for other lab if you want to receive a good customer service.

Stay away from this company
I paid a bill using the same account number of the last bill I had paid. (Quest changes the account number each lab work done) I notified them that I had paid that bill in full. They found it and told me that they would take care of it. 8 months later with me calling and talking to them and them writing new notes that it was paid yet I am still receiving bills for this. The billing department is a complete joke and the staff is unprofessional. I am doing what I can so I don’t have to deal with Quest diagnostics.

I'm an independent physician
I'm an independent physician and am writing a review because Quest has been so poor with their customer service. I sent a patient for testing for hepatitis....ACUTE hepatitis...and his test came back positive, but Quest didn't get the results to me, EVER. The patient finally called, and after 2 weeks, was able to get the bloodwork results, though they had been completed a few days after the blood draw. Needless to say I was upset. My staff called Quest. We started a 'ticket' about the problem. We never heard back. We called again and were assured that someone would get back to us within a day. They never did. We called again, and got a run-around. This has never been addressed, and there doesn't seem to be any avenue for us to talk to someone higher up. This is not the first time we've had problems, but it's the worst case, and was a significant potential patient safety/qoc issue. Luckily the patient is fine.
I used to send all my patients to Quest for their bloodwork, and I will now very specifically be making sure they go ANYWHERE else.

Quest diagnostic or is absolutely zero…
Quest diagnostic provides absolutely zero customer service experience. You cannot get through to a person on the phone no matter how hard you try. I was lost and couldn’t find their office and there was no one to call when I got there. I walked in. It was so confusing because it’s just a screen and a wall with a locked door.-looks like you’re visiting a prisoner.
There is absolutely no person to greet you and sign you in. Instead, you need to use the screen to sign in and if you have any trouble with it, it’s just too bad.
I guess you don’t get seen for your blood test? I have no idea because I had to ask someone else to help me.
Until you can figure out how to schedule or check appointment … no one talks to you. So if you can’t do that you can’t get to step two.
It was an absolute nightmare of a customer service experience. I have never had worse.
The lab tech was lovely and she was very professional and did a great job. But I was so annoyed by the time I got there.
customer service in terms of getting a person if you have any problems whatsoever is impossible from start to finish.
And that’s from everything from billing to making appointments to when you arrive.
I have never seen worse customer service. There is no personal touch at all. You’re going to a factory where they get your money and you’re on your way.
They have no interest in a personal touch at all
Given so many elderly people need to be able to access a lab and don’t always have the technology background to use the screens, you would think they would try to have someone up front.
Honestly, I just can’t even say enough bad things about the experience
If I could give it a zero rating I would.
I hope all labs are not going this route.

Don't real people work for companies anymore?
There are 1100 other poor reviews, so I doubt that Quest cares enough to improve their services, but I'll leave my review anyway. I haven't even been to get my lab work yet, but just the process of making the appt was a nightmare that took 25 minutes with my having to go back and forth between automated phone appt setting and online before I was finally able to successfully get an appt on my second attempt on the phone.
I also wanted to make sure they actually received my orders for lab work, but I couldn't find anyway to speak to a real person. I'm assuming that an appt wouldn't be made, if they hadn't received it. If I show up tomorrow and there's no order, it'll give me a reason to leave another bad review.

NIGHTMARE
My doctors have tried to put orders in to no avail. This has been going since University Hospital transferred to quest. This system, to me, is useless. The only that shows up is bloodwork I needed before my surgery in April which is still pending

Tech went above and beyond her duties!
There was a problem with the lab slip being sent to Quest by my doctor’s office. While I sat and waited, my Dr’s office tried to send it three times through the computer, but needed to send it through a fax machine, I guess for it to work. while I called my doctors office and we tried to figure this out the tech would check back with me every few minutes to let me know whether or not the fax had come in. When it finally came in, I was able to get my blood done. She went above and beyond her job to let me know the status other techs would’ve probably just said sorry you have to go home and come back another day. I felt that was really nice of her. That’s why I go to Quest, the one in Southington. I did not find others as friendly but this one is definitely a great one. This is the one located on Executive Drive in Southington always had a great experience when I went there with myself or my son. Thank you again for allowing me to share this experience, Sharon D

Careless Quest staff entered my info wrong - no way to correct their mistake
Quest employee entered my information incorrectly, and Quest cannot/will not correct the error.
There's no option in the portal. I tried reaching out to a representative... and the rep just flat out refused to assist.

They sell your PHI data to credit…
They sell your PHI data to credit reporting agencies. Its a fraud system where they LIE about keeping the lab details confidential. NOTHING IS CONFIDENTIAL. They share this data amongst multiple partner companies. AVOID. what's worst is quest partners with multiple other companies and they sell their data too through a company called examone.
