Poole Harbour Watersports

Wrong item sent. Three weeks before closure and money being refunded. Not a good experience. Stick with Boardwise, Cannock and/or Surfladle, Shoreham for your watersports needs; much better retailers in my direct experience.

Poole Harbour Watersports

I didn’t get the customer service I was expecting.
Not going into specifics, as I don’t want to be unfair , needless to say I won’t be buying from this store again.

WARNING - website with misleading sales

WARNING, the website with misleading sales, unfair practices and poor customer service. They sell products they don't have in stock and additionally charge a higher price for a replacement product that you might not buy from them under those conditions. If you buy something from them, don't expect it to be shipped the next day, rather be prepared for unpleasant surprises or it will turn out that the product has somehow disappeared from the warehouse or has been sold. In my opinion, they do fake promotions and sales, maybe with the aim of good indexing in search engines and gaining popularity, etc. In most cases, people believe that they just had bad luck without realizing the manipulation that is hidden behind it.
On Thursday 16th May I bought a windsurfing sail on sale - Duotone E Pace 2022 from the website. The seller received the money and I received confirmation of the order. The next day Chris from pooleharbour.co.uk sent me an email informing me that "the one we have here is actually the HD version 2022 epace" and asking me "just wondering if thats ok and you'd better be happy to pay the extra?" "
This was very frustrating for me because I was already waiting for my package to be shipped!
I checked the seller's website and it turns out that:
1. the seller does not offer any HD sails from 2022. and claims in his message that he has them in stock;
2. Sells a windsurf sail on sale that is not in stock, then offers a substitute and more expensive one, as this has not been announced in advance.
3. I checked that this is not a single sail only, and the seller continues to sell the same product even though he already knows he doesn't have one to sell.;
4. a few days after it was established that they do not have the advertised sail, the website continues to sell the same sail, without correcting the price and/or the title that it is a different HD sail.
Even though it is the seller's fault, the seller does not send the product or offer any compensation and insists on more money for a sail that I do not want to pay more for. At this point, the money has not been refunded either.
All in all a very unpleasant situation where it's my fault that I bought something from their website that they don't have, and instead of sailing with my "new" sail I have to waste my time arguing.
My advice - avoid at all costs and buy from a trusted seller!

If you reserve something - MAKE sure they do!

Communicated by email, and agreed to proceed with the purchase of a Starboard Kode 135l (10th Sep). India (sales person) replied on 11th and told me to call in as Online order adds a delivery charge.
Emailed India again (11th...same day) to confirm days she works to which she replied on the 12th.
Called to pay on the 13th, only to be told that the board had been sold.
I assumed the Board was mine. It was the last one and was discounted. Now have to pay full price (circa £400 more).
