Support on car braking down and buying a replacement

Had my car breakdown and after being towed to Polesworth Garage the staff informed me that the car was probable not worth repairing. The very help full lady at the service garage arrange a courtesy can and suggested I look at the forecourt in the town. On arrival I was greeted by a very helpful Matthew who help us find a suitable car. On completion of the paper work and collecting the car I was very happy with the service given and also the whole experience was made as painless as possible. I was kept up to date on the progress and have a nice newer car.

Went to polesworth garage today ,wasn’t…

Went to polesworth garage today ,wasn’t sure what I was looking for but I wasn’t disappointed with the choice .
I spotted a Nissan juke more or less instantly that I was very drawn to. I was approached by mark and he instantly gave me all of the information that I was looking for the service we received was excellent and I would definitely recommend polesworth garage and indeed mark to all of my family and friends.

Would give 0 stars if I could.
Terrible communication, never told me they didn’t have the logbook until I asked and assumed I’d be ok buying it without it present at time of sale, spent £27k and was offered a hand written receipt? Had to chase and chase. Said they were going to service it. But “forgot filters in another bag” lied about brake fluid change. While they had the car back, decided to race my car around on test drive hitting 76mph in a 40mph? Not even an apology. Promised call backs that never came. Martin the operations manager wasn’t even bothered. Rude. Had an issue with the car from
Only a few days of having it, was intermittent but they had it for a week and couldn’t find out what it was, but had plenty of videos of it doing, since taking it to BMW they had it 1 day and has been diagnosed and having it fixed by people that know how to work with cars it’s been fine. There warranty is not to be trusted and worthless! This will be going further. Complaints sent to both Nissan and Suzuki with the evidence I have. Please think twice about using this place for your own sake. (Pics on google review) and journey with speeding, also point to note there were to different test drives where car was treated like this, I have attached only one)

Collected my new car today…

Collected my new car today 03/03/25.
All members of staff were really helpful and greeted me with a smile.
I didn’t feel pressured by them at all to order/buy a car, like you do at some garages!
When Rodney Ashworth (sales executive) did the handover at the end, he was really helpful and answered all my questions. He even let me choose my number plate from a list of new number plates! Which I felt was a nice touch.

Would give zero stars if I could. Stay clear of Sam Dunk and Travis Williams, both are compulsive liars. Advertisement for the car had false information.

Polesworth Garage

I very recently brought a car from Polesworth Garage and was looked after from start to finish. Paul Massam is a patient, kind and honest sales executive who works at this garage and without him going above and beyond for me, I’d have given up. I would highly recommend this place and I will definitely be going back in a few years to swap my Nissan.

Impressed

I have just purchased my 1st car on finance at Polesworth Garage.
Paul was great and helped me a great deal as I was unfamiliar with the process.
He answered any questions I had very quickly and was on hand to greet me whenever I went down to see him
Everything was completed with the purchase with no fuss and I felt looked after by Paul.
Loving my new car so thank you Polesworth Garage and especially you Paul.

Absolute 5* service from Paul at…

Absolute 5* service from Paul at Polesworth garage from start to finish. The process was seamless with Paul keeping me up to date through out. I would recommend everyone to go here for their next car. I can’t thank them enough for all their help. I’m over the moon with my new car. Thanks Paul and Martin :)

Easy to find and access to property is good

Collected my new mobility car this morning Steve who was originally dealing with car was unfortunately not there but the young lad by the name of Connor did a very good job he was cheerful willing to hold a conversation and nothing was to much for him he was informative and a credit to the company a big thank you to all at polesworth garage especially Connor a merry Christmas and a happy new year to one and all.

Was looking at the Quashqai and I can say it was a pleasure to deal with Matt who was friendly, knowledgeable and definitely not pushy. If it hadn't been for our blasted front drive being too small to park it easily, he'd have had the sale!

Professional, reliable and excellent service

I have used Polesworth Garage for a number of years to service my Nissan Juke and found them to be professional and reliable and provide excellent service. I recently made enquiries about trading in my Juke for a used Micra N-Sport. I found the Sales Executive, Matthew Davis to be extremely helpful and personable.

Never use them again

Well where do I start.
Got a ford ranger from this guy Paul.
On finance. Got back home to Portsmouth.
Then found out it had an oil leak.
Water leak. Phoned them up this guy Martin
Said it was not like that when we sold it to you. So told the finance company. Close brothers. Put in a complaint. They sent a guy down to pick it up. Had it for about 5 weeks.
And couldn’t fix it. He phoned up saying
It is still leaking. Every time I phoned them up, there was not returning my calls. They r a vey bad car dealers if you get a vehicle from them you will be silly. Don’t trust them.
There even don’t service them. If that’s a family run business. It’s a joke
Keep away never again.
So the finance company got my deposit back.

I’d have been better going to a dodgy back street garage

In my view this company should lose they’re Nissan franchise.
Everything revolving around my dealings with them has been extremely negative.
Shockingly bad service, incorrect diagnosis of engine issues leading to the vehicle being stripped down multiple times for no good reason. Endless excuses - we don’t have the staff, we are busy. Car was returned with substantial damage.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS THEY GIVE A DODGY BACK STREET GARAGE A BAD NAME

What a pleasant surprise in a service centre

I have just had our car in for its first MOT I had a telephone call 90 Minutes before my appointment to tell me they had an internet outage. I was contacted later to inform me the problem was resolved and arranged a new appointment the same day. When I arrived they couldn’t apologise enough. I have left main dealerships due to the service centres not caring for customers

Great experience all round

I felt I had to send this review of my experience at Polesworth garage as people are very quick to complain but not so quick to give praise when somebody/business goes out of their way to make your experience of buying a used car a pleasurable one.
I just turned up interested in 2 used cars, the salesman listened and then recommended one over the other. After moving 4 cars sent me off on a test drive. I liked it and then had to organise finance with them which was quick and easy and not judgemental. I passed!
I signed the paperwork and arranged to collect it the following week.
It had 12 months MOT on it, been serviced, valeted and new car mats(nice touch).
The salesman did the handover and explained it in my terms not confusing jargon and off I went very happy. Can thoroughly recommend Polesworth garage.
