In my experience with Ownboard has been amazing. I bought Bamboo Zeus Pro when it first came out and they improved so much from the first batch to current batch on all of Bamboo Zeus Pro models with much better charging port cover that now threaded lock in, Samsung battery and improved hardware. They actually listens to communities' feedback and continues to improve their products. Ownboard is one of the most important and amazing brand that produces better boards for everyone to experience and the amount of extras that they include on each board is just mind blowing.
Ownboard is awesome brand if you are looking into buying a new electric skateboard! I'm looking into buying another Ownboard soon!!!

I've only had good experiences
So I bought the Zeus oldest model, It's still running to this day(about 3 years).
Recently though, I had an issue referring to the charging port. Great customer service, they answer your emails, they even sent me videos of how to fix the problem.
I see this sounds so biased, but I have just had so many bad experiences on this topic. but when I first bought it, I was also surprising as to the good customer service.
The shipping took a while, but that's just how it is, and when I asked about the status I got answered properly. From what I have experienced I recommend it.

Board lasted for 50 miles - company would not replace battery
Paid almost $500 for my w1s setup, and got to enjoy it for one fall. I stored it in my heated room for the winter, and when I went to go for a ride that spring the board shut off after 1/4 mile and wouldnt power back up. I brought it back and plugged it in, and it showed 75% but wouldn't charge beyond 80%. Took it out and it wouldn't go further than 1/4 mile without shutting off again.
Reached out to customer support, and a few weeks later they said I'd have to buy another battery. I got about 50 miles out of the board total before it kicked the bucket. Would never buy from this company again

"We will ship out your order within 2-3 bussiness days" here at day 8 after purchase its stil in status"The Item is at the shippers warehouse".
I have tried support but guess its closed. I should have read all these review before i put an order down. STAY AWAY from this SCAM company!!!

Go With ANY Other ESkate Company
Yeah, I wouldn't bother with this company. Go with Meepo, Evolve or Wowgo. I saw the red flags when I was browsing the site, the broken English and grammatical errors. Fair enough, it's a Chinese company but they really should have someone clean that up. I didn't care about those things since I really wanted one of their boards. I ordered one and had to cancel due to unforseen financial issues on my part. Customer service didn't respond in the fastest manner and once my refund was finally processed, days after I had asked for it, my refund ended up being less than what I originally paid. They only deal in US dollars, I'm Canadian so I lost over $100 on the transaction thanks to their slow response and inability to refund me immediately. They went so far as to ask if I was certain I wanted a refund as to not refund me right away. This company is a joke and based on reviews the board I wanted has trash acceleration and braking compared to others so it's a safety hazard as well.

Received the board and accessories in good time and looks and feels amazing …
Received the board and accessories in 31 days. Took 2 weeks for it to leave hk, but then I started receiving reports every other day, it was bouncing all over the place from Taiwan, Philippines, dubai, Germany, and then 4 days in my home country (uk).
I did contact support after a week purchase as shipping label was made, but it wasn't moving. Sally assured me that shipping is queued up due to covid and i will see it start moving soon.. and it did a week later. Fyi, I had $100 knocked off my price as i had it in a sale, and it was supposed to be sea shipping, but ended up air shipping. Was stuck in Germany for a week. Very annoying, then it arrived a day earlier than excepted.. bonus.
Got the Ownboard at1w.. lovely board. I've been boarding for 20+ years, so checking over the components, nice quality, solid. Everything works . I've been on the board for the last month working on my carving and speed. I'm really enjoying this board. It's very comfortable. Definitely not all terrain.. Great on bumpy roads though. Good power for me. I'm old (40), I don't need to be hanging on for my life like when I use to surf, land kiteboard, mountain board, snowboard, skimboard, Flyboard, skateboard, freebord... yep you've guessed it,.. lots of board sports. Service was nice and quick to respond (a day) product well made, looks great, easy to use.
Only cons.. personal preference really.
Remote is big, as its got a screen, but my wrist protection makes it harder to grip.
I wish the charger had better charging indicator on how long it takes to charge, as it says in the manual not to overcharge it..
Thats it.. my only two cons about it.
Am looking at the zeus, but went for the exway max for now.. maybe later 😁

mediocre product quality, False shipping time claims, and no customer support
shipping said 25-35 days and 45 at the very latest. this was a lie. It has been 62 days now and it has yet to reach the US according to the tracking. This really feels bad because a friend of mine ordered one a while before I ordered mine and they got theirs in about 50 days. Also i am now moving and have to change the shipping address and nobody will respond to my support requests :(

Ownboard Carbon Defective from the box
I ordered a board from the factory with a discount coupon of $ 100, they told me that they have a warehouse in Europe and if I buy another set of wheels and do not use the discount coupon, they will send it to me in 3 days.
I paid an extra $ 230. They sent me a tracking number on December 17 and I received it on the 28th, of course they wrote the address wrong and I had to look for it and deal with DPD.After unpacking it, I found that one of the motors was not working, I immediately uploaded a video and sent it to them. I was told to open it and switch the ESC cables. I did it and sent them a video with the result, now the other motor worked and the initial one stopped, their answer was that they would send me spare parts from China, which would take 3 months and I would have to repair the board myself.I read on their page that if you order the board from their warehouse and not from the factory if there is a problem they will refund your money. I wrote to them that I have no desire to repair their product which already had 70 km on the remote from the box for which I paid ( 1150$ ) and to wait for spare parts from china for 3 months and I want my money back.
They refused me.Their response was that they would help me find the problem and send me parts to fix it myself. I paid an extra $ 230 to have it for up to 3 days and got a defective product that they want me to fix myself. They don't want to take it back, even though it's written on their page, and they don't want to give me my money back .My question is who are these unscrupulous people and what is going on here.

An expensive Unreliable kids toy
Unbeknownst to me the mini kt arrived with several stripped screws in the poorly designed motors. The outer replaceable pu is mounted onto 3mm aluminium and while loose it just warped and bent out of shape.
Then i was only getting 7 miles range and found what i believe to be counterfeit samsung 30q cells. I measured the amp hours with a watt meter and got around 4.5ah into my supposedly 6ah pack. I have genuine cells in my torches and the print is all wrong.
My supposedly waterproof boards battery display steamed up and died in the first week.
The customer service just pretend they cant understand you and accused me of being too fat.
I found slightly longer screws and used the spare pu rubbers id bought and managed to get it all back together at my expense. Also replaced the battery display and properly waterproofed it vs the bit of foam i removed. I gave it to my much younger 10 stone brother and he uses it to pop round the village just about. One day the brakes cut out on a hill and he hit a gate and now needs a thousand pounds worth of dental work or more. It was at around 90 percent charge so was unexpected.
In summary its a fake fire hazard and death trap with no customer service. I bought a mini er from another brand and they also sent me faulty 100mm wheels but they eventually sent me one new one while i suffered with the 90mm ones. This does nearly 20 miles and the motor bolts are on the inner edge so far less stress and less likely to need tightening every single day.
either go with another brand or just throw 400 quid out the car window now, save your teeth and dignity.

Got my bamboo AT in the mail
Got my bamboo AT in the mail, rode it once.
It was a lot of fun. Battery died quicker than advertised. At the time i didn't think much of it. Came home charged it for the second time, now it powers off literally 1 second of use. The power button doesn't work. I emailed them but I haven't received a reply yet. From the other reviews I'm going to guess that a reply isn't coming. I havent even put a few miles on this thing and I'm genuinely upset about this. 1000 dollars for a joyful let down. Its not the worst thing to happen this year, but still the world is ending can I just enjoy this one thing.

I've taken very good care of this board…
I've taken very good care of this board and was just left constantly disappointed. The bearings were cheap and had to replace them within a couple of weeks with legit ones. Had it for three months and now the ownboard AT is not turning on. Their after-sale team has yet to respond. I'm pretty sure they are just waiting for the 90 day warrant to pass so they don't have to repair it. Waste of $900

Since 04 - 11 -2020 I am in request for change of part under warranty. After acceptance on the 04-12-2020 my pieces only left on 04-27-2020. And in between they tried to give me a mini kt instead of my much more expensive spare part. So you see good customer service, I see scammers not gifted

The WORST customer service ever
The WORST customer service ever. Back motor broke 1 month after I got the board. Emailed, texted, sent videos they promised a new one and never got. They actually sent me a fake DHL shipping statement. Laughable. There are quite a few other Chinese board makers with much better customer service. Buy at your own risk. You’ve been warned.

This company is the worst
This company is the worst. They left out the battery in our shipment of a dual belt motor kit. And insisted it was in there. However, if we paid another $150, they'd send us one. And if we complain to our credit card company, they threatened it "would cost us $200 in legal fees and ruin our credit." What the hell?! These people suck and will rip you off. Stay away!

Ownboard would not stand behind any of the issues I had in the first 90 days. I told them via email that my battery was not working properly and got no response. I tried to explain the issue with them again via email and a different person would respond "It bad you must buy a new battery". I would send them a copy of my emails showing that I had been trying to resolve the problem for 30 days. They could care less about their customers after the sale. I had even bought the expensive 6.0 amp hour but they wouldn't read the emails. When I would get a reply which was rare they couldn't understand what I was saying and just kept putting me off. So I own a very expensive useless battery.
Buy from a reputable company NOT OWNBOARD!

Their customer support is a joke honest got my board 3 days ago and my remote was mess up i contacted them and show them a picture they didn’t wants to sent me a new one for free they said i have to buy more item and they send it for like i spend 700 and got a used and messed up remote also they trying to blame it on shipping defective when it sealed so well after i filed a claim they wanted to send me a new remote what a great company they have DONT BUY FROM THEM!!!!

Customer support sucks big time.
I order my board 45 days ago, and still no updates on my order.It was supposed to take 20 days for the order to arrive. Issued a refund through PayPal.
Ps. On their site ownboard do let you publish bad reviews, keep this in mind.
