Very high quality foxtail guard. Website easy to navigate. Clear instructions on sizing, which was totally accurate. Order processed fast, arrived in practically no time. Company very responsive to emails. I had signed up for discount on first order, but never got the code for the discount. I emailed company on weekend and received response within a half an hour, thanking me for my interest and providing me with a code for the discount! Highly recommend!

Love this product for my furry best friend
Such a great product. After an emergency foxtail experience at the vet I have been so paranoid walking my dog. I was skeptical how he would take to the product but he took to it quickly and is unbothered. A must for hiking/ California summers!

Best purchase ever!!
One of the best purchases I've ever made!! I have a Boston that snarks up anything he can get close to!! Ending up in emergency already once $$$$. Now our walks are so much more fun!! No anxiety on my end and he still can sniffari with his dog siblings!! He doesn't even seem to notice he's wearing it. Still able to drink with no problems!!! Such a relief!!

Deteriorating quality and cheap
We have purchased Outfox field guard for our 3 dogs previously and they were good. This time around when I purchased them they smelled like pthalates (for those who don't remember what pthalates are-they smell like old shower curtains and are toxic to humans and animals) . The elastic band that goes around the neck is also too short preventing it from being opened completely for ease on/ off. Will be looking for other alternates since they have become cheap with their product.

Easy to order and arrived quickly
Easy to order and arrived quickly. The quality of the product is excellent and is worth its weight in gold. We never have to worry about our dogs accidentally getting a foxtail burr in their nose, eyes, or ears. It was easy to train them to accept the hoods and they were so happy to be able to sniff to their heart's content without us yelling, "No! Stay out of the foxtails!!".

A+++ for OutFox!
OutFox field guard allows my yellow lab, Gracie, to run free in the summer and protects her from fox tails. It also keeps her from foraging for “treats” (like cow patties) out on the trails. If we didn’t have the protection of this product, we would have to have her on leash. Instead she’s free to roam and explore the trails. We learned the hard way that we needed this product - one fox tail to the nose brought so much suffering and an emergency vet visit. We did some research and purchsed the field guard. Such a perfect product. Gracie has never once tried to shake it off and doesn’t seem to notice that it’s on her. It keeps her safe and let’s her live her best off leash life!!!

Fixed discount issue immediately.
I never received an email code for 10% off. I mentioned it on the order and they refunded me the 10% after the fact and advised me in an email. Thats good customer service. Hood works well on my dog too..

Pricing
After purchasing an XXS field guard mask from Outfoxfordogs.com for $65, I discovered that a local pet store in Petaluma, Cal. had the same Outfox mask for sale for $50. I was pretty dismayed about this, but was very happy that the company refunded the difference to me after I complained. This was excellent customer service, and I expect they'll be resolving their pricing issues with local retailers who carry their products. Their masks are excellent, and a great way to protect dogs from foxtails (as well as from picking up undesirable things to eat...).

A lifesaver for my dog
Good customer service and the outfox literally saved my dogs life. He has discovered how tasty death cap mushrooms are and spent 6 days in ICU. Very nearly died. Now he wears the outfox outside to keep him from eating poisonous mushrooms etc

I bought this product to protect my dogs' ears from grass seed in the Fall. It works well for this. My only complaint is the black mesh. It looks scary on the dogs (frightens other people on the trail) and impairs the dogs' vision, causing them to bump into me a lot when wearing the hoods.

Great product, responsive company
I needed the masks asap because I had lost one (I have two dogs). The company was very responsive and turned the order around in just a couple of days. I love the masks, the dogs do very well with them. Foxtails are expensive, I just spent $1000, $500 per dog four days apart. Because I didn't have the masks on! That won't happen again. It's an amazing product.
