Terrible experience!
Terrible experience buying lenses from here.
I advised them that I use my glasses for work and that my screen is about 1 metre away from me. They did me an eye test and recommended me a specific lens, which when it arrived could only see long distance. My screen was completely out of focus.
Took them back and they said they'd change them. The second lenses arrived and were exactly the same, though this time they were heavily marked by some factory process.
Took them back again, and the third time they said they would ensure that they were focussed correctly to see my screen from 1m away. Picked the glasses up, and though slightly better, the screen was still completely out of focus. I could see it better without the glasses.
Took them back once more and was told that the lenses were correct, they'd never had this issue before etc etc. Basically making me feel as though it was my fault, or that I was just causing problems. They said they'd send them to the factory to double check for any errors in the lenses.
Went back a fourth time to collect them and turns out the factory had adjusted them yet again. They were definitely better, though upon arriving home they are still not correct and I can still see my screen better without them.
I have given up at this point and will just continue using my other glasses for work, as I can't deal with these people any longer. Instead of being precise about getting the lenses right, they seem to just make random adjustments and hope it works (newsflash - it doesn't). Whenever I've bought lenses from elsewhere in the past they've been correct the first time, but this seems to be impossible for them to achieve. Four tries and they're still not right.
My advice is to avoid them and go to a more specialised opticians. I'll get new lenses done at some point from a place with more expertise (basically anywhere that's not Optica 2000).
