We are the UK’s fruit & veg box that fights food waste. We work closely with farmers & growers from all across the UK (& abroad), to rescue & fill up our boxes full of fresh, seasonal fruit & veg which are at risk of going to waste. The reason for this? Large fruit and veg box arrived today…
Large fruit and veg box arrived today and I was amazed at the quality of these items! Loads of apples/pears/oranges/grapes/cucumbers/salad/carrots/beets/greens etc etc. literally not a mark on anything! Tastes absolutely delicious. I shall be continuing to order every fortnight. Super impressed and reasonably priced too.

Eat it, not bin it
This is a great idea, the thought of this fruit and veg going to landfill is ridiculous. Most of the produce last longer than the supermarket produce. It has made us eat more fruit and if I don't use the veg straight away I freeze it. This would be amazing for food banks to use. I have introduced it to my colleagues at work and they love it to. Waste management in the best way possible.

Delicious!
I thought I would give Oddbox a try, and I'm glad I did. I had promised myself I would eat more fruit and here I am, eating it every day. The fruit is delicious. I ordered extra cherry tomatoes, and they are probably the best I have had for many years. The website is easy to use. Go for it!

I don’t however enjoy the delivery experience. At 03.00am the noise of the unnecessary reversing beeping wakes me and my neighbours !! ( I live on a through lane)

Fantastic quality and variety
I’ve been getting a weekly medium fruit and veg box for a few months now. I am so happy with the produce, super fresh, lasts for days and lovely quality. It does feel a bit like Xmas when the box arrives, even though I’ve selected everything that goes in it! Love the add ons too. I feel we are eating more healthily by having our weekly box and especially love that we are doing our bit to reduce food waste. Thank you Oddbox

Oddbox brilliant box
Was a bit dubious at first but the produce is top rate. I have a fruit box and everything has been fresh and delicious. If there is something I don’t want or need I can swap it out for something else. It’s really good value for money plus you are helping to stop food waste. Delivered overnight it’s lovely to get up first thing in the morning to find your Oddbox. Even their boxes are taken back and recycled. Definitely a five star company

Overpriced
Overpriced and not much choice. I really wanted this to work but the quality just isn’t there
Oddbox requested more information. I love the concept but the fruit is not as good as the supermarket in terms of quality (over ripe gooseberries, tasteless apples And Sharon fruit) and is more expensive. Additionally if you offer a refund, it was a credit note rather than refund. Since I’ve decided to stop my subscription this is not very useful. Hope that’s enough info. Apparently if I didn’t give the extra information, my review would be removed. That increases artificially the satisfaction rating

Hi Paul, thank you for your feedback. We're sorry that you felt that your box wasn't good value for money and lacked variety.
Our prices cover all the work that goes into making sure our members get a deliciously odd selection of fruit and veg every week. This includes everything from working with farmers to understand what's at risk of going to waste, making sure you receive top-notch fruit and veg, paying for and rescuing the fruit and veg from farms and organising it for your box.
It's also worth noting that we work differently to most food retailers because we're grower-led. So, rather than asking farmers to grow for us, we find out what's already been grown at risk of going to waste.
We would also like to assure you that while we may love wonky and surplus produce, it should still be just as high quality as the fruit and veg you can find anywhere else. As such if you ever receive any substandard produce from us, our customer happiness team would love to hear about it as we can make sure any issues are investigated and that you are compensated appropriately.
