This place is despicable

This place is despicable. I stayed here with my partner in September. From’ the moment I checked in the experience got worse and worse. The host who checked me in was condescending and rude. We were put in a tiny coffin of a room that was decorated with white everything. No towels or toilet paper in our room and our keys had to be reprogrammed twice for our single night stay. I had prepaid for my reservation but was charged upon check out and I’ve been battling them since to get my money back. The charge was made to my card at check in so I figured they mistakenly double charged me. When I requested a refund I was sent on an endless hunt for anyone responsible. The hotel told my credit card that the charges weren’t duplicate but were for incidentals and a smoking fee. We don’t smoke. Totally dishonest and bogus and basically just evil. Do not give them your money. There are far better options in the area. These people really are incompetent and should be barred from doing business in NYC.
