It was great to have Megan Dean as my Mortgage Progressor. She was very easy to work with. She gave me regular calls and more importantly she always followed up via email if I wasn't available via phone.

From the very first phone call with…

From the very first phone call with Liam I felt we were going to be looked after very well. The next step was a teams meeting with Lucy and that was very well organised. Step 3 we were passed on to Megan that was always keeping us up to date with the application either by phone or email. Overall I would recommend this company to anyone.

Feeling scammed out of £400

Feeling scammed out of £400. We got our mortgage through new homes after a recommendation, and was not informed up until the call where we applied for our mortgage that there was a fee. No transparency, and by that point we didn’t want to risk going somewhere else and starting the process again because of exchange of contracts so we had to pay it. We then found out the other day that others who have been through new homes have not paid - so why were we charged? I’m filing a formal complaint and am disgusted. The service was not worth the money as there was a clear lack of communication the entire time, we were passed around constantly so had no clue who we actually needed to talk to about things and overall disgusted in the service we received.

Excellent help and guidance from Liam Crane

When I was first referred over to The New Homes Group Mortgage Specialist, I was sceptical simply because I was expecting to be met with a smooth talker with the typical hard sales pitch. You know the type, the ones who sweep in and barely give you chance to say a word!

I was wrong. I was met with Executive Helpline Mortgage Specialist, Liam Crane.

Rather than being a "schmoozy" sales type, Liam was solid. By "solid", I mean, without a shadow of a doubt, Liam knew his stuff! He was clearly highly intelligent, thoroughly capable, quick to answer any questions, and able to allay any fears I had. Liam earned my respect and has made me feel safe.

There have been no empty promises along the way throughout my quest to secure a mortgage - when Liam has promised to email, call etc, he has done so promptly and "to the t" so to speak - with his focus always being on helping me understand, and guiding me through, the processes. Liam has been, and continues to be, dependable, attentive, knowledgeable, clear, and utterly competent.

I only hope that The New Homes Group Mortgage Services can see how smart and 'just plain good' at his job Liam is too. With so many disingenuous people in this, often target-driven, world, I truly hope this company values and shows suitable appreciation for the fabulous people that work for them.

I very rarely write reviews but I have felt compelled to do so for Liam Crane because he absolutely deserves some recognition for the impressive service he is delivering.

Regardless of whether I am able to secure a mortgage (it is looking highly probable though!), I have nothing but praise for Liam and the experience I have had. Quite frankly, everyone needs a Liam in their life! And no company would want to risk losing him!

To The New Homes Group Mortgage Services, Liam Crane is a true credit to you, and a real asset. Please look after him!

Really Helpful Mortgage Advice for Our First Home

My wife and I recently bought our first home, which is a new build, and we were referred to New Homes Mortgage Helpline by our developers. That turned out to be a great recommendation, as we had the pleasure of working with George Ramsey as our mortgage advisor.

George was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. He’s a patient and approachable person who really takes the time to understand your situation and explain everything clearly — which, as first-time buyers, we really appreciated. He was always available for calls and never made us feel rushed or overwhelmed, no matter how many questions we had.

He helped make the mortgage side of things feel much more manageable and straightforward. We’re really grateful for his support and would definitely recommend him and New Homes Mortgage Helpline to anyone buying a new build or going through the process for the first time.

Exceptional service

I honestly thought the process would be soo long and exhausting but it didn't . Michaela, Sinead and Rizwan made our experience a happier one within few weeks.
