Stay away from NameSilo
Stay away from NameSilo – shady behavior and account abuse.
I had over 40 domains with NameSilo. After a single abuse report (without any proof or legal order), they suspended my entire account — not just the domain in question, but everything.
What’s worse, they are now demanding a selfie with my passport held next to their abuse message on a screen. This is an absolutely unethical and invasive request, and a huge violation of privacy.
ICANN does not require such actions, and no serious registrar I’ve worked with has ever made such demands.
They are holding my domains hostage and refuse to unlock anything until I submit biometric proof. This is beyond unprofessional — it borders on extortion.
I’m filing a complaint with ICANN and privacy regulators.
Avoid this company at all costs if you value your privacy and control over your domains.

This company helped me solve my locked DNSSEC
This company helped me solve my DNSSEC, which was locked from Cloudflare unknowingly before being transferred to Freenom website and sitting there for another 1 year without any solution to disable the DNSSEC, which broke my domain until I finally moved to Namesilo and the problem was solved with an option to manually turn off the DNSSEC, which I can now use wildcard SSL from Letsencrypt.
