The support team doesn't have the capacity to resolve such a basic HTTP query error as 429. As a hosting company, they are lacking. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM.

So far, things have gone well. Domain setup was quick, the interface is intuitive, and I appreciate the free WHOIS privacy. EasyWP made getting started with WordPress smooth and hassle-free, which is perfect for users like me who want a simple, straightforward experience.
That said, I’ve noticed occasional slow loading speeds on my WordPress site. Also, having more advanced options (like better plugin control or email integration) without needing to upgrade would improve the experience.

i never set up this account intent of needing any customer service. i have experienced customer service interaction TWICE via chat-AWESOME attentive reps. no long wait time very knowledgeable. NOW, i got asked for a code. that is to be sent to an email address that i am very unaware of. I ASKED WHY was that prompted. its been 72 hrs no answer to that question. i was informed of a call. despite as most keeping business and personal life SEPARATE. i text my son to swing by the house & picc up the phone. NO CALL. i have more than 3 domains on the same account so when asked the info THE ADDRESS does go to one the domains on the account, matches my driver license, the non profit paperwork, I offered the bank statement as proof of association with the businesses THAT also matches the address as well as the transaction of domain purchases. The debit card number of purchase. I offered google meet, facetime, zoom and id verify me. I pointed out that the ip address matches most if not all the access to the account and that I am contacting them on so what type of security service is this AND again the question of what prompted this-NO answer. I was in the process of forwarding my url BUT didn’t intend of leaving………hhmm, my hosting company did advise to transfer the domain had I followed their advice I wouldn’t be in this situation. I am able to log in BUT not get pass the code request when I never set up a 2 set verification. have no idea of the email address its in reference too. its a very simple fix. This is BEYOND annoying. I have no other services with them so I don’t even see them caring as they are paid for the year….the outcome has yet to occur BUT I believe it’s an intended run around with the same result. each domain has a matching email address @yahoo and a business email-how am i not the owner? doesn't make sense at all. i will do a follow up once and IF the matter is resolved.
**UPDATE** i came to update i was allowed back inside the account. the representatives were very polite AND considered. the entire process they kept me updated BUT i'm unsure why its happened again. i've done nothing differently. BUT this is my expereince with them AND risk management ALSO was kind, polite and responsive.

I'm a new Namecheap customer and have never approached web development or website creation/hosting nor do I have any basic knowledge of custom domains. However, after deciding to purchase a custom domain through Namecheap, I then created a website on Google Sites and went through the process of linking the two. Unbeknownst to me, Google sites are automatically covered by SSL provided by Google, so I didn't need the SSL I had just purchased through Namecheap. Customer service was able to issue a prompt refund for the unneeded SSL purchase in a matter of a few minutes. They were, above all, courteous and HUMAN. They then double-checked to make sure I had updated DNS records, etc. to properly point my Google site to my Namecheap custom domain and that everything was working as it should after publishing. I will be recommending Namecheap to anyone who's looking to do what I have with regard to setting up a custom domain and linking to an external web host.

I have purchased a handful of different domains and hosting from Namecheap and a few of the times there were small technical glitches like SSL certificates getting stuck or other email issues and they not only responded quickly, but took care of it for me without much wait time at all. All in all I couldn't ask for better customer service.
