Missing item, no respond from mpgear

Will never recommend this site, coz once you purchase and you want returns or something you will not get a hold of a representative.. Tried email, no response and tried contacting them thru 877-411- GEAR but you will just be directed to voice mail, and if ever you left a message they wont even call back.. So dont waste time i this site.. Bad customer service

Good gear fast from a vet owned business.

Slept soundly on it's test run solving the kinks and weird spot soreness that happen with closed cell pads on hard ground. It also stows neatly inside my pack instead of hanging awkwardly on the outside. The Big Agnes Air Core (long) takes 35 to 40 breaths to inflate and a few minutes to deflate slowing set-up and decamp time. I feel silly blowing this thing up, but can't afford a bad nights sleep on the trail. The tapered ends go well into the corners of a tent and I did not miss the extra surface area. Wish it was made in US, but really, Everest is in China and it's half the cost of the Thermorests. I have to stay real.

Helpful customer service. Suboptimal packaging.

I was new to your website as I found a good sale that introduced me to it. The sale expired by one day as I was waiting daily on a 10% off new user coupon (which wouldn't have worked anyway since it was a sale item - i missed that part). I called and received a portion of the sale price which was not sufficient for me but appreciated. 1 week later the sale returned (odd, but OK). I purchased the Arcteryx Altra 85 pack.

Of note the pack came shipped folded up with the (removable) waist belt also folded rather than removed and packed around. Not the worst thing but probably not ideal.

All in all a good experience despite my learning curve to your website tendencies and the slight packaging issue.

Amazing gear at the right price

I bought the Osprey Aether for my husband's birthday next month. If he doesn't like it, then I'll be happy to claim it as my own! I found a spectacular deal on MPG and received my order promptly. So far so good! I'm looking forward to finding more great gear on MPG's site in the future.

smores campfire basket

Awesome product. The only thing cooler than the product is the quickness it was shipped received it the very next day by 10am. Yes, I paid for overnight, but I live in NC and the product shipped from WA. Other companies wouldn't have processed and shipped it for at least 24 hours.
First product I have purchased from the company, but just the beginning!

Listing items as instock (with 24 hour shipping) when out of stock

I ordered some tires that were shown as in stock, but a week later I still hadn't received a shipping confirmation email so I called to see what was going on - only to find out that they're closed at the weekends. Support is non-existent, stock status on the website is incorrect. This was my first order and it'll be the last I ever place with these jokers. The very least I'd expect when placing an order and the item is backordered is for a courtesy call to explain the situation.

Fast, Good Price, Good Service

Ordered a product 30% off, full price everywhere else (Yakima product), got it in two days. I live the Pacific NW (they are based in Washington) if they have your product in stock and ready to ship, you can't go wrong.

Price and Trust just right

WORST SHOPPING EXERIENCE

I placed my order for some snowshoes with Mountains Plus Outdoor Gear on Dec. 1, 2014, and after the worst shopping experience of my life, I finally cancelled the order today, Feb. 12, 2015. DO NOT shop with this company. I placed literally dozens of phone calls to their Customer Service (speaking with Colby and Doug on multiple occasions), and never got any service whatsoever. Excuses, unanswered emails, and false promises to call me back--this is all I ever received

Listing OUT OF STOCK Merchandise as IN STOCK

Ordered an in stock item on a Monday with 7-10 day shipping. After a few days of not shipping, I was told the item would ship the following Monday (Day 7), they charged my card $1000 for the item. No reply to messages on Live Chat and didn't reply to my email when the item didn't ship. After a few messages, I was told the item was still en route from their "warehouse." Clearly their "warehouse" is the manufacturer. Just BE HONEST and tell people when items are not in stock. I would otherwise not write a review, but this was completely annoying. And this was to be a gift. THANKS! Go elsewhere.

Great customer service

The products and prices were great, however the thing that stood out the most was the customer service. My shipment was delayed because of a snowstorm in our area and UPS was unable to deliver on the day specified. Mountains Plus called me to let me know of the delay and the updated shipping info. I had a great all around shopping experience with them.
