Mountainview Regional Medical Center Las Cruces NM dropped the ball on my hernia surgery waiting to get hernia mesh after I was in a hospital robe laying on a surgery bed placing other patients in front of me.
They botched my surgery, agitated my afib, raised my blood pressure and now are billing me $2,055.00
I am on medical leave from my job until my hernia is fixed and the medical leave is of limited time and a few other potential part time jobs I been stalling until I get the hernia surgery completed is why this is important I get the hernia surgery done in a prompt manner.
Today I had checkin at Mountainview for my hernia surgery at 9:30 am which at that time they put me in a hospital robe and took my vitals and commented I have good blood pressure, also I have never been told I have high blood pressure, however after todays experience when waiting in post-op they told me I have high blood pressure which they gave to me.
After an hour laying in hospital gown on surgery bed Dr Carvaretta outside the curtain in front of my waiting room where I was on the surgery bed told the nurse to take another patient ahead of me because we do not have his mesh and will have to get it from another hospital, the nurse then came to me and apologized for the situation.
At 1:30 pm which was suppose to be my checkout time I now been laying in a hospital gown on a bed for 4 hours with a IV in my arm, Dr Cavaretta came to me and said I will be next, close to 2 pm I am finally taken into the surgery room but because of the long wait and the frustration and anxiety of the situation, I was told my afib was coming in and out and they will not do the procedure.
Mountainview waited until I was in a hospital robe laying on a surgery bed to decide they did not have the hernia mesh and put other patients ahead of me while they were geting the hernia mesh from another hospital.
Mountainview botched my surgery and while I was there they gave me high blood pressure and because I am on limited medical leave they may cost me my job.
Deserves negative star not one star but no negative star option
