Monday CRM is awful

Monday CRM is awful. I would write a list of what doesn't work but it would take me all day. What works today may not work tomorrow. Non existant support, even when you write to the CEO explaining what is wrong. Dodge this CRM bullet.

If I could give this company a -10 then…

If I could give this company a -10 then I would. I have tried for the past 2 days to talk to somebody but you cannot get past email communications. So in simple terms here is my issue. £ 26000.00 (yes twenty six thousand pounds) has been taken from our bank and paid to Monday.com. We do not have an account with them so they are advising they cannot talk to us. This company do not take fraud seriously.

Predatory Company to be avoided at all costs!!!

At our 1 year renewal Monday notified us ,via online call, that they are breaking out our plan into two (CRM and Workflow), they also substantially increased our per seat price on each side of the platform. This resulted in more than doubling the platform cost after building company work flows around the platform. They then didn't e-mail us through the price increase till after the renewal date, at which point they froze all access to the plat form. They have essentially held our workflows and data hostage. The price increase they sent through after freezing the platform came in higher than the previously discussed rate. The Monday team has proven extremely difficult to get hold of to discuss the matter. We currently have no use of the platform. This is an extremely predatory company and should be avoided at all costs.

i dont use monday.com. i hate monday.com ads. i will never use monday.com. i dont know what monday.com does. i dont care what monday.com does. monday.com ads are the worst, most annoying ads i have ever heard of. if monday.coms marketing and advertising team are anything to go by, monday.com is a lazy and unimaginative platform for whatever it does and should be used only by zombies and acolytes. i hate monday.com.

Not suitable for enterprise or anything complex

Have been engaged with Monday for a year on an enterprise project for their CRM and Work Management Software. The product is poor, bordering on woeful as a lot of expected functionality doesn't exist, completely disrupting and blocking normal workflows. The demonstrations and features do a very good job of disguising the major technical limitations of the platform until you start trying to apply real world use cases. For example, "timelines" are used for Gantt charts, but there is no way to change dates on timelines through automations, only on "Date" columns. This means there is no way to automate changes and updates to one of the key project tracking features. Their support staff on the help chat are very good but there is only so much they can do and their product managers / sales staff are only interested in the sale. They will contact you daily while waiting for a signature and then disappear completely even when the sold product has not been setup! Product looks good, and if you only have to use it for small, standard, and un-complicated projects then it can help track those, but past that, I wish I had my time again to have avoided this company entirely!

Deleted all quote information

Input all quotes onto the system for them to completely wipe the quotes system and be told that was meant to be a tool to create quotes and invoices, not to store them. A CRM system is built to store information No information can be retrieved meaning that months of work is lost

Edit after response. I have already spoken to your team m, the team told me that it’s not meant for storage and that my months worth of work could not be retrieved. Awful system.

Double billed and now refused access

We were double billed, and refunded when I alerted PayPal. However, subsequently they blocked access to the product, despite full payment of USD720 on the second of April 2025. After reading many similar reviews, it appears that this is a common issue. Tried for a month and a half to resolve , but their responses totally unhelpful. I wouldn't like to use the word fraud, but I'm struggling to understand their actions.

The product itself is great, as long as you don't have to pay for it

The product itself is great. If you are using the free version, I would highly recommend.
My issue with the "support", or lack of.
Paid subscriptions are automatically debited. we have been using this product since 2022.
Out of nowhere, we were deducted double the amount and 2 months before our scheduled deduction was due to occur. I have been communicating with support for 2 weeks with no resolve. They are refusing to accept that the deduction was even made!
On top of that, I decided to cancel my subscription, but I cannot. My dashboard appears to not be working, and apparently, they cannot cancel it from their end.
Such as shame. We really enjoyed using the software.

Monday.com is an over priced clunky…

Monday.com is an over priced clunky tool that required expensive add ons every step of the way. You also won’t be able to cancel very easily (there’ll be an error). Avoid it and go for confluence or Jira.

Excellent app but....

Excellent app, just too expensive because of the extras needed, they make the pricing plan to be like this.
After that, unsubscribing or canceling the plans is quite difficult.
They just try to mix you.

If I could give negative stars to…

If I could give negative stars to customer service, I would. There is no option to talk to someone and the chat is ridiculous.
I paid almost $4000 for my company's subscription and had to upgrade to almost $6000 within a few months because we ran out of seats. They did a prorated amount for the unused days on the first subscription but absolutely refused to refund the tax that was clearly already paid for. Now I have a huge subscription that I'd love to change because if I ever have an issue again in the future, I know I will get absolutely no help.

Complete Scam - Don't waste your time

When I signed up it literally said "monday.com is free and will always be free" and then a couple weeks later it locked down all my data and said my trial was over. I did a bit of googling and, of course monday.com is headquartered in Israel... classic bait and switch Israeli scam company. It's not the first time one of this sh*tty companies convinced me to use their service, but my god it's going to be the last. What a waste of time.
