Miadonna did not "cover the cost of remaking the setting." I returned the ring inside of both the return window as well as the exchange window, with the return sticker still attached to the ring, as listed in their terms and conditions. You didn't provide charity, you followed your own contract.

Sent for resizing and took a week to hear back that I’d need to remake it due to having to drop 2 sizes. Fine. Waited 4 weeks only to find out it had shipped a week earlier— I was given no tracking number or notice— and UPS showed the package as lost. Filed a claim. Still sitting here typing this with an empty wallet and no ring.
I will update this when I get what I paid for.

Hello Evan, I understand your frustration, but we have done everything we can to expedite this claim. The ring was ordered two sizes too big, and unfortunately, this particular ring could not be resized that much without compromising the integrity of the ring. We covered the cost of making a brand new ring, and sadly, UPS lost the package. We were unable to remake the ring for a third time until UPS investigated the lost package and confirmed that the claim would go through. We actually instructed the casting house to start making your ring before the claim had been finalized, and we are expecting the new diamond any day now. I understand this has been a long process, but we have tried to expedite the process as quickly as we could. Once we give the package to UPS it is out of our control, sadly. I am confident you will have your new ring very soon.

Nightmare of a company to work with and wish we had gone with a different jeweler. It's sad to feel regret looking at something that is supposed to make me feel love and happiness. Its been 5 years since I had my original engagement ring, upgraded it with their program since my husband couldn't choose the diamond he wanted originally (that's a whole different problem), had it remade TWICE because quality was awful, and I had my wedding band for less than 1.5 years until I had to replace it with a similar band from a different jeweler because TWO diamonds fell out and the band cracked TWICE. A diamond in the newest engagement ring on the band SHATTERED. How does a diamond, shatter?? When I took it into the jeweler I had my new wedding band made I asked them to look at that specific diamond because to me it looked off... they were hopeful that is was just dirt, but they came back and notified me that it was indeed shattered and they replaced it with a new diamond.
Long term - quality is absolute crap. Customer service is cold. If we could go back in time, we would save ourselves the money, the time, and the heartache.

The ring came out absolutely beautiful. And the process was super easy. The one thing I wish they did a better job about, is the communication throughout building the ring. It took about 20 days for the the build and ship it but there was very little communication which left me feeling uneasy.
