Poor claims service and high deductibles

Claims service is very complicated and people skills are not very good when it comes to helping people with a claim.

Deductibles on theft in the border regions is way too high. We have other options that are not that incredibly high.

Dear Rafael,

We want to address some confusion regarding your recent review.
According to our records, your office currently has only one open claim. This matter was handled directly with the assistance of our supervisor, Javier, and the assigned adjuster by the Mexican Insurance Company.

No deductible was requested from your client, as liability for the incident was determined to rest with a third party.

Your office reviewed all aspects of the claim with Javier, and at no time did it indicate any dissatisfaction regarding the handling of this claim. Furthermore, your client selected the repair facility—a dealership body shop located in Mexico. That body shop reported that an additional sensor, located on the side of the vehicle that is not located near the point of impact, required replacement.

We agreed to cover the cost of the sensor and the associated labor, contingent upon receiving proof of damage from the dealership. To date, this documentation has not been provided. Additionally, the adjuster has been in contact with your client via email and phone, and he is aware of the situation.

Payment was offered to your client on June 22, 2025, covering the initial damages, with the remaining balance for the sensor and labor to be issued upon receipt of the required proof. However, your client declined this arrangement, requesting that all payments be made in a single disbursement.
