This is a scam - they find legitimate past rental listings (that have been rented), somehow are able to claim them on Zillow and Redfin, and then they charge $49 fee for nothing. Beware!
Companies on Trustpilot can’t offer incentives or pay to hide any reviews.

Scam
Scam. They advertise property. Then you pay the fee and find out the property is not available and in my case was not available before i paid the fee. I tried to verify 3 times before i paid that it was available. Each time the only response was to pay prescreening fee. No refunds and a new $45 fee for every property you apply for. You will not get any answers by contact. All of there answers are boiler plate right off of a script answers. Scam scam

Scammed out of $49 prescreen fee by the bot Adam & this phone number (562) 608-3174. They wouldn’t allow me to list the website links on here so don’t trust any showmojo links on the Redfin or any other listing platform. I let my defenses down because I really need to move soon and in need of a ranch style house. Lesson learned.

Are they a scam, in no hurry to help
These people wanted me to fill out this long application which I did. I paid the deposit that they asked for. And then after a week of waiting for them to tell me it when I could tour their property. I called back they said it was still in process. So I asked for my money back. I think these people are a scam.

Paid for two applications there spent over $100 and never even got a response back complete scam do not use it they go through rent.com so if you're seeing anything on rent.com it's like a third party thing and they send you to locate and it's a scam so I would go through a different website than rent.com

Scam site
Most unprofessional rental site I’ve ever dealt with. I paid $49 screening fee 2 weeks ago, but never received a email, text, or call to schedule viewing. I have called multiple times and ALWAYS spoke to a recording. At this point I believe this site to be fraudulent and a scam. Phone# (424) 677-0333 can not reach a LIVE PERSON. I want my $49 back.

I've been scammed
I've been scammed. They took my money towards application on rental property but nobody has called or emailed me. I've called but nobody answered phone. It goes to an automated system that sends you a text. Then you get blasted by random text selling things.

SCAM
Yes, this is an AI SCAM!! Please stay away & report. I am a licensed real estate agent in Buffalo, NY. Locayt took one of my PREVIOUS rental listings & had it posted on several websites as available for rent currently. On these websites, they are using MY previous photos! I've reported it as fraud on each of the websites &, fortunately, I see that it has been removed. I also reported this to the Federal Trade Commission.

BEWARE OF NEW SCAM LOCAYT
Scam website where they have made their way into Showmojo, Zillow and Redfin. I’m usually so good at spotting these but my guard was down. Waiting to see if my bank will confirm my dispute. What a horrible thing to do during such a terrible financial time. That $49 could be the difference between me eating this week or putting a roof over my head. Their website is full of grammatical errors etc. they spoof Showmojo links for the most part it looks like. Reporting them to FITC, BBB and the state of Illinois. Considering also filing a police report. Only an AI will answer the phone pretending to be a real person. Oh and I did go to the building that I clicked the original link for and it is owner occupied with NO future renting involved. There are two units and they don’t even say with one at 4300 N Richmond is even for rent so I decided to go there much like other people online. Someone even had a stranger show up at his doorstep asking about the rental listing in Florida I think and the owner who was sharing the story apologized for the scam.
