Heather Jane Howarth. gets all these stars. She was responsible for showing my son round a property. She was soooo friendly and professional. Easy to talk to and felt you could ask her anything. Nothing was too much trouble. Heather was ALWAYS at the end of the phone to assist my sons worries, she always sorted them out.. In my opinion an all round professional a masive bonus for leef properties. No specific date just the whole of May and now June with us every step of the way. Well done Heather. 😊

Great experience when getting a flat. Had a viewing with Claire who was very friendly and assisted me in making an application for the flat. When receiving the keys to the flat she was very helpful in showing all the appliances, water and electric readings

I was pleased by the service at first, Heather was lovely and very informative. However, once we moved into the property things started to deteriorate and the flat was in dire need of repairs. They were helpful at first for a few initial repairs I reported but after that nobody has been since. More significant repairs began needing to be done, for example the roof started to leak causing mold but we were told to 'keep wiping it down' and that the roof would be repaired. Baring in mind we are now well into our contract and nothing has been done, I continue to report issues but nobody even responds anymore. I would not recommend this estate agent at all, we have been taken advantage of as young people moving into our first flat and the way we have been treated is appalling.

LEEF PROPERTIES COME INTO THIS.
What a bad experience we have had with holderness road branch in hull. My son has just turned 18 and received his trust fund he wanted to get his own place so he applied which he was told twice he was excepted for two different properties so he went ahead paid the first £180 which is clearly for a credit check which is supposed to be illegal now. But they get around it by calling it a reference check.

Landlord then declined him because he is on a zero hour contract but did provide all his wage slips which was showing never under £1200.

So William h brown promised to get it sorted and put him forward for another flat which was more expensive telling my 18 year old he will defo get it he we will sort him out as quickly as possible. So again he paid another £180 deposit to get declined again. Which is non refundable this time it was with a company called Leef properties were he had to pay the £180 to even the the propertie was through William h brown.

All this company has done is take money after money we’re a month down the line lost Al that money and no flat.

It’s disgusting what these company’s are doing taking money of young vulnerable people.

I could not have asked for more from Claire who has been amazing helping me to settle into my new home. She has been incredibly helpful and always quick to respond to any queries I have had. Heather was absolutely amazing. Exactly the woman i needed. She was efficient and knowledgeable whilst being a genuine down to earth lady with a sense of humour that made me feel at ease through all the stress and chaos of finding a new home. She made it feel a breeze and quick to respond to anything i needed. I can’t recommend her enough to anyone seeking to buy or rent a new home. Completely turned my day around after a really tough couple of months.

Here's the problem with Trustpilot - it can be exploited by companies trying to sweeten people up into give them a great review before they've actually really used their services, which gives a false representation. And that's what happened to me today.

I had a joint viewing with Heather earlier (it was joint because she was late, by the way), and fair enough, she answered our questions, but at the end of it all she had a laugh with us and sent us all a link, asking us to give her a good review. And lo and behold, a couple of people have already written good reviews today.

But then you read through the reviews and, as someone has recently pointed out, all the good reviews are of first impressions taken in by the faux banter, but all the bad ones are from people who have actually rented with Leef.

In my eyes, that's 100% a scam. But you asked for review, so here it is. You get one star because you're cheating.

Funny thing is, you're probably reading this now, raging at me as if I've done something naughty. But you know what it is that you're doing and you know that all I'm doing is calling you out.

Whilst everything seemed great on initially entering the lease, things quite quickly started to deteriorate, we ended up with a leak under the sink, the freezer door fell off, the radiator in the lounge ended up hanging on by a thread and when reported it took months for someone to organise a visit and even then it was pure luck that I was off work that day but had somewhere to be at 11am but the contractors were not willing to work around that and turned up 10 minutes before I was due to leave. These issues continued for over a year with promises that they would chase the contractors up and get them fixed, one layer of paint on the walls meant you only had to walk past them to mark them or take a layer off. And being told that we were the only flat experiencing mould to find out that multiple other flats had the same if not worse issue. Trying to get a response was almost impossible until it came to handing the keys in and now we are still fighting for our holding deposit back. Would avoid at all costs.

Word of wisdom to the wise. If you are thinking of renting a property with this letting agent, pay close attention to the reviews.

The 5 star reviews are coming from people's initial encounter with the agency.....property viewings, keys being handed over to their new property, and the likes.

The 1 star reviews are coming from those with lived experiences.......people who have actually lived in their properties for a considerable period of time. Those are the reviews that paint the truest picture of this agency.

As a current tenant at Millbeck House, I wholeheartedly agree with all of the 1 star reviews.

Every nightmare you could imagine with a letting agency, will be your experience living in one of their properties:

Neglected emergency repairs that lead to hazardous and unsanitary living conditions.

Property managers who will gaslight you and use intimidation tactics to force you to pay them rent while living under hazardous and unsanitary living conditions. Which is illegal by the way, and falls under tenant harassment.

Severe malpractice and deceit in their dealings/communications with you.

Will provide no alternative accommodation when the property falls into disrepair due to their negligence and incompetence.

So, be sure to know your rights as a tenant if you insist on becoming their tenant after reading these 1 star reviews.

I can only assume that this company is on the verge of going bust. Hence their absurd level of professional incompetence at every level, from the receptionist to the Director.

Bottom of the barrel scroungers who've banded together to make a quick buck, and are useless with nothing of value to offer. Your hard earned money will be far better spent elsewhere.

Review sites need to allow zero star ratings because that is my rating of this agency.
