Suspended from their site for requesting a refund

A couple months ago, I bought a "compatible" model screen for a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 9 at $150 AUD. There was a dead pixel on the screen after installation, and the touchscreen part of the screen did not work outside of the BIOS (although this wasn't a driver or OS issue as it didn't show up in device manager or work on Linux either.). Returning the display was not a easy experience either, I was offered a $15 credit and had to wait over a week before I could even return the screen, and I ended up having to start a dispute with my bank to get my money back. I ended up contacting Lenovo's official support and they replaced the whole lid and screen assembly for me free of charge. As of me posting this review (19/03/2025), my account on their site has been suspended. IF the company decides to reply to this review, I would like my account being suspended to be addressed. This is a shopping site for laptop screens, not a social media site.

EDIT (21/03/2025) In response to the reply from Laptopscreen.com:

1. The date of my experience is included at the bottom of the review. I'm sorry if "a couple of months ago" is too short to be considered 7 months.

2. I did not ignore the return label. I posted the screen back with the return label when I had the time.

3. I made the post claiming I was ghosted by you before I got a response from your support team. I also am pretty certain I requested a return earlier than sept 02, 2024, although I cannot check as I cannot log into my account and check the tickets.

Customer did not place an order "a couple of months ago", the order was placed 7 moths ago.

The reason that the customer's account was suspended is because customer ignored the prepaid return label which was issued to them at no cost immediately upon request and instead filed a charge-back with their bank on an item that they still needed to return. A detailed time-line of events:

They had a good and fast service

They had a good and fast service, the screen I bought is completely compatible with my ASUS TUF Gaming F15 laptop. Also, it is from the same brand as the original, which gave me peace of mind. They recommend the screen based on the model of your laptop but I would recommend doing some research about the screen to be replaced before making the purchase. In any case, they will always give you a compatible screen, and if not, they offer a return service.

I ordered from Mexico and had no issues with the purchase or the shipping. The screen arrived well-protected, wrapped in bubble wrap inside a box. Additionally, you can choose the shipping service you prefer, and all shipments include insurance at an additional cost of one or two dollars. One thing to keep in mind is that upon receiving the package at home, I was charged an import fee due to customs. It wasn't much (15 dollars), but it's something to consider if you're making an international purchase.

Smooth warranty experience

I had a new screen installed for a 2017 Macbook Pro. It worked great for about a year, then began having a few problems. Laptopscreen.com asked for photos and a description and honored their warranty with no hassle. The only down side is that your computer will be without a screen until the replacement comes in. Excellent experience.

Fantastic company to work with. Ever screen I've ever installed has worked and when I made ordering mistakes, they have helped me correct it, with courteous and clear customer service.

Good product

The product shipped fine and was the correct screen. Once installed, everything worked correctly except the touchscreen. This was a 40 pin connection. I would get a replacement, but the customer said they really don't use the touchscreen and did not want to go through installing another screen. As everything else worked, it is fine for them.

Couldn't be happier

Couldn't be happier. Great price - website was easy to use to verify the correct part for the specific laptop - the part arrived on time and was perfect. Not my first time with them, and won't be the last. They are my go-to for laptop screens. I've been in the IT Service and Support business for almost 30 years.
