There are no prices on items and no scanner to check price.
You need to stand in line to have a cashier check price.
I guess kohls assumes you'll just make the purchase since I stood in line. Thats a load.
Walked out and not going back..
Cashier said she was told the scanners were no longer needed
Stupid ploy to save money?
Nope lose money

Poor Packaging

Lately Kohls is either hiring people who don't have any work ethics or people have become lazy lately and hate to be working but need a paycheck.

I ordered 3 store picks and each of the garment were stuffed in a plastic bag, the garment was not even folded properly.

I had a delivery order for 4 items and all items where stuffed in a little bag, unfolded and mailed. You open the package and look at the wrinkled condition and don't even want to try them.

I am returning all 4 packages and will stay away from this store.

Crappy!

I recently had 2 damaged orders. I reached out for the 1st thinking I could get a replacement [I earned Kohls cash btw]. I was told that I could exchange the damaged items in store or return. Really? I never thought of that! I had to order online b/c not in store and would lose my Kohls cash if returned. After back and forth, I finally got a replacement order. Next order, damaged. 3rd recent order after 12 days never arrived despite saying it arrived on day 11 [still too long imo]. I reached out for a refund and told to wait a few days and call back. I refused and wanted my money back. No apology for the lost items, slow shipping, etc. You get no one in the USA so a language barrier and they just repeat info back to you that you already know as a customer. I think I am done ordering online from them.

An amazing worker

In the sephora in kohls in Germantown MD Asal, a worker at the sephora was very patient and kind. She even spent extra time looking for a coupon. My experience was great and worth 5 stars.

My experience working at Kohl's…

My experience working at Kohl's (Roseville, MI) has been extremely disappointing due to the lack of effective communication and professionalism among management. Supervisors often ignore staff, fail to address concerns directly, and provide no updates on policy changes—yet still expect employees to be aware of them. This lack of structure and respect makes it difficult to feel valued or motivated. For $12.50 an hour and minimal hours, the job is simply not worth the stress. It's unfortunate to see such poor leadership in a company I once respected.

This store is no longer worthy of my visit after the acts they have pulled recently. I visited a local store for a return and there was nobody at the cash register to assist. I asked 2 other associates standing around talking and all I got was " Somebody should be there" Where? I thought. Invisible?? She finally arrived and acted like I was a bother in a hurry to get rid of me. I had been sent my $5 reward for my birthday to use on that purchase that I had to return and of course I lost the gift due to the return. Yesterday I received an email from Kohl's giving me the $5 birthday gift again and then about 8 hours later they send me another email saying that it was a mistake and error. I'm not sure what kind of people are running this business if any. Employees have been cut from the store and customer service has completely gone to the hogs! Anything to do with Kohl's cash is a complete joke. You give to your customers then take it away like we are children who are punished.

BEWARE

BEWARE! Unethical business practices. I have shopped at Kohls for more than 20 years and buy almost everything from household items to clothing and gifts at their stores. However, they have lost me as a customer permanently. I had a horrific and shocking tragedy happen in my family, which meant I had a whole bunch of Kohl’s cash accidentally expire and I missed picking up an order. This is the first time this has ever happened to me. Kohl’s did absolutely nothing. The associate in the store was nasty and on the phone they were even worse. I was denied a supervisor over the phone and the associate in the store claimed she was the manager. I cried both on the phone and in the store. I am returning all of my purchases. I will never return or shop at their stores again. I hope it’s worth it to treat your customers like they don’t matter. They had a choice to show compassion and care or to make the situation feel so much worse and cause further harm. It is completely unacceptable. Multimillion dollar corporation who doesn’t care about their customers. I hope they fold.

Online Return Debacle

I followed online return directions and find myself fighting for my refund. They said they received the return in May and it’s now July. Forced me to dispute with my credit card company.
It’s only $28 and they treat it like a million dollar concern.
Ridiculous.

1 star. Never again.
Kohl’s told me over the phone they would honor my Kohl’s Cash up to 10 days past expiration. I showed up a few days over, well within that window — and surprise: denied.
Apparently, customer service means “lie to your face, then shrug in-store.”

The store itself?
Looks like a clearance rack exploded. Dirty floors, clothes scattered everywhere, and changing rooms that smell like forgotten coupons and regret.
Staff barely acknowledged me unless I blocked an aisle or breathed too loud.

If you’re looking for a place that acts like Walmart but thinks it’s Nordstrom, congrats — you found it.

Final note: If Kohl’s Cash expires faster than the integrity of their promises, maybe just stop offering it.
Do better

Kohls cash

I spent $250 on clothes and I received $50 in kohls cash. I went to use It 10 days later and the store wouldn't take it. I feel very poor customer service. At this point I feel like I'm ready to close my Kohls card.

Huge Fail on an Online Order for Pickup

I placed an order online for pick-up, choosing a less convenient location because that was the only one that showed the product being available and ready for pick-up that day.
I received the order confirmation, but nothing else. Eventually, I went to the store to see if I could pick up my order. I was told they don't ever carry the product at that location. When they checked my order number, I was told it looked like it had been cancelled. Almost one week later, I've never received any notification of the order being cancelled.
So, the incompetence of their system led me to make a wasted trip to an inconvenient location for no reason. And if I hadn't gone there, I still wouldn't know that the order had been cancelled.
This isn't the first problem I've had with Kohl's on online purchases, I'm done.

Ever since Kohl's switched to Capitol…

Ever since Kohl's switched to Capitol One, I've had numerous problems buying at the store and absolutely cannot shop online. They have sent me 4 new cards since last fall 2024. I activated each card then went shopping. Each time my card was refused at the store as being invalid. Finally, I was able to use a card 2 weeks ago. I got a bill in the mail and sent them a check in payment last Monday. Yesterday my payment was returned by the post office as being sent to an invalid address. I sent my check in the envelope Capitol One gave me!!! Their address is invalid!!! I went to a Kohl's store to pay in person this morning and I told Customer Service that I would never shop Kohl's again.

I'm very disappointed with my customer…

I'm very disappointed with my customer service experience regarding our Kohls Capital One Card. We paid our bill 1 day late because of being on vacation and they wouldn't waive the late fee as a courtesy. We will be canceling our card and disputing this charge.

Terrible customer service

First off if want to say that I have never gone out of my way to send an email to a company..or write a negative review. So as ridiculous and small as this seems it has got me that upset and disappointed!!  I am a loyal customer of khols. In the past 3 months alone I have placed at least 6 online orders. I was getting my son's outfits ready for vegas today and noticed no black, white or Gray nike socks(order 6640862921). I knew I had ordered some so I looked back at my account and seen yes I placed the order about 3 weeks ago. I got everything else from that order but these socks. When I called customer service she proceeded to insist they was delivered..as if I was lying about getting the socks. If I was going to claim I didn't get something with the thousand dollars I've spent there over the past couple months..it wouldn't be a pair of socks! I insisted I didn't so she told me to hold and then told me the socks are no longer available so I went to my kholes app and had no issue adding the socks to my cart. She then told me her system is updating so she cant do it and that I need to call back! I told her fine just refund the socks and ill have to pay shipping myself because my son needs these, told me she cant help! Over socks! When I have been a true loyal customer..terrible customer service! I deleted my app and will never shop there again!

“no stars” or negative rating

I had to pick a star since “no stars” or negative stars weren’t options. Made a significant purchase prior to going on a long trip out of country and was told even though the “Kohl’s cash” which had to be used while I was out of the country would be extended for me—I returned to use it the day after returning and was told their POLICY had changed while I was gone so my $50 Kohl’s cash could not be extended or used. Will never spend my money (and will share why with friends and relatives) at any Kohl’s again—there are so many other businesses that honor their word and will get my business instead. Kohl’s lack of integrity lost this customer.

They force you to use a cell phone number, then they canceled my order

I've never shopped at Kohls before.

So I was looking for cotton tops for women.

I wanted to know what size in plus is the same as XL in regular, and of course the live chat overseas people don't know what I'm saying & just want me to measure myself & I didn't have a tape measure, & it's a question that ANYONE working for a clothing store should already know.

The supervisor knew even LESS English then the last person.

I called the next day, complained to an American (fancy that, an American who works at an American company) and that was that.

I forgot to order, so the color I wanted sold out.

A few days later I put 2 more shirts in my cart, went to go sign up and then noticed they DEMAND a toxic cell phone which I don't use. I only use landlines.

Any company that doesn't let you use a landline is an evil corp. Haven't you wondered why they are forcing you to use a toxic cell phone number & you can't use a landline like we used for decades before?

I got upset, went to live chat again (this is at night), the first girl said I didn't have to, then disconnected the live chat because I was in the kitchen for a few minutes.

The next person didn't understand much of what I said.

The supervisor understood LESS.

I became LIVID.

All I wanted to do was order 2 SHIRTS!!!!

I did some name calling and disconnected, then called the next day.

I got a guy named Emmett who couldn't understand WHY cell phones are toxic. His first time hearing this. SMH zombies who know nothing about anything just kill me.

He thinks it's MY OPINION or belief, not an actual FACT! LOL Yeh right.

I have TONS of evidence, plus many people who are sick due to toxic cell phones & of course the cell towers, and that's not even including how they harm your brain, mind control you and spy on you.

But I digress.

Then he can't figure out what I want when I already told him that i didn't want to be FORCED to use a toxic cell phone. Not much smarter than the live chat overseas people. There's your evidence that he's addicted to dangerous toxic cell phones.

He was getting me upset, so I asked for a manager.

That's when he wanted my last name.

WHY do I have to give you my last name just to speak to a manager???

This company is really really evil, is all I'm thinking.

I argue with him. I'm not even your customer & you want to track me by my last name???

Finally he let it be.

That's when I get Stephanie.

I could tell right away she was pissed at me. No warmth, no how can I help you in a sincere way, NOTHING.

I relayed the issues I have and she doesn't speak. I'm like HELLO???

She says is that everything you want to file as a complaint?

Yes. NO EMPATHY AT ALL. NO CONVERSATION.

She could have cared less & I'll be very clear here, they were both Americans.

I said fine, I'll leave a review of how bad you are not knowing that everyone else has also left tons of reviews that are terrible.

I slammed the phone down.

Later on that night I tried to order as a guest because Emmett said that's how I can bypass the toxic cell phone & the order went through.

5 minutes later, THEY CANCELLED THE ORDER.

If you deal with this company, you risk wasting tons of your time.

I never even got anything from them & I already wasted 2 days and at least around 1 1/2 hours.

They don’t honor their return/exchange policy

I bought Levis for $69.99 and needed to change the size. I didn’t have my receipt. They offered $15 credit and buy new for $69.99. They said it was on clearance for $41. But they don’t know how to buy it on clearance. I said Levis don’t cost $125 but the 3 women couldn’t figure that out. I shopped there for 22 years but not going back. Their website sells it for $69.99, not clearance $41. They are criminals. They are going out of business soon and stock price was $65 in 2020, $24 in 2024 and now $8. I told the 3 customer service women that. They should be looking for a new job. Their multiple stores don’t have any customers. Avoid this company. Their coupons can’t be used on anything other than their low quality store brands.
