The squirrel buster does what it's name suggests...

The squirrel buster does exactly what it says. After many hours of crawling all over the new feeder the squirrels in my garden appear to have given up. Even the woodpecker has come back after I had to remove the last RSPB nut feeder because the squirrels had cracked how to get past the squirrel baffle and worked out that if they went up and down the vaseline on the pole frequently enough that they would stop sliding down the pole. The crows are too heavy so they too have given up. It's the most expensive bird feeder I have ever bought but it does work.

New version of Jacobi Jayne click…

New version of Jacobi Jayne click feeder
Sadly Jacobi have modified there feeders again the type with a central rod is no more and is replaced with a "simple" click system ..don't know what's simple about it not only was it hassle to get apart rebuilding resulted in the tube flexing and not locking followed by the plastic clip breaking.. if this is the way this once excellent brand is going I won't be purchasing anymore please re think and go back to the central rod system with metal ports. It's not been out yet and already needs parts!

I have been ordering feeders

I have been ordering feeders, food and habitats of them for years now. Always and excellent service even when things do go wrong - like faults in the feeders. I would have liked to still be able to get the original metal Nuttery feeders and some of the earlier models of the ring pull (by far the easiest feeder to use) if that can be made possible!

Big “Easy” Feeder - proper instructions and videos needed

A brand new Big “Easy” Feeder. The tiny instruction leaflet is hard to follow when trying to take it apart for cleaning. In the end I had to give up trying to remove the feeder ports and clean it in situ still attached to the tube. Jacobi Jayne, you should provide proper instructions with clear diagrams, and YouTube videos to show us how to assemble and dismantle these tricky feeders.

Bird feeder parts

I have several JJ ring pull bird feeders purchased many years ago. Recently one of the feed port castings had broken. I rang JJ and spoke to a very courteous gentleman who was able to identify the broken part and check if they had any stock. They did and I was told this would be sent out to me FOC together with a latest catalogue. 2 days this was received and the feeder repaired. Absolute first class service and as a previous reviewer mentioned a true lifetime warranty,

Sorted me out effectively 😊👍

I bought a very expensive product from Jacoby Jane which was the same as one I had previously bought or so I thought. When I brought it home I discovered that the metal ports have plastic clips which are completely different to the ones on my old product. This caused me some difficulty. I sent a very clear email query to customer services. They explained that the clips have been changed to stop squirrels opening the ports. Customer services have now supplied me with the original style clips free of charge, within 24 hours of telephone contact. ( I dont have squirrels) Well done customer service 😊👍.

Lifetime Guarantee that works

I have a Squirrelbuster Plus, which I purchased over 10 years ago, and has been in constant use since then.
Over the past couple of years, the clear plastic tube has cracked in several places, so I tested the lifetime guarantee and ordered a new part. Easy to use website, no questions asked, I simply had to pay postage.
Best guarantee experience ever---thank you

Squirrel Buster Evolution.

Squirrel Buster Evolution.
My problem was with pigeons, not squirrels, so I bought two of these. For about a month they were fantastic, all I had were small birds feeding, flocks of finches jostling for position. Then one day the fat pigeons worked out that if they repeatedly landed on the perches, yes, they shut down the feeding ports, but not before shaking out enough food for them to pig out on. It now takes approximately five hours for them to empty one feeder. I'm absolutely gutted. I really thought I'd found a longed for solution to sky rats emptying the feeders and keeping the small birds away. I think I need to invest in an air rifle instead! (Only joking, for anyone who may be disturbed by such a suggestion.)

Excellent service

Thank you for sending spare bird feeder parts quickly and efficiently. This is the second time I've ordered parts from Jacobi Jayne and both times received excellent service. The gentleman who took the call was courteous and helpful.

The parts I ordered were plastic tubes and these appear to be made of thinner plastic than the ones that they are replacing, so I wonder how long they will last.

4 or 6 Port ring pull click feeders - only good for one use

This review is for the 4 or 6 Port - Ring Pull Click Metal Seed Feeders. They are very expensive, but on first usage, I was thrilled with my purchase and thought them a worthwhile investment because they were robust enough to stand up to the pigeons and squirrels. It was only after trying to wash them as advertised that my opinion changed. One of the ports on one of the feeders wouldn't reconnect so I had to secure in place with a large cable tie. Then, after the seed ran out from the first top up after washing, I went out to fill up the feeders, only to discover that ANOTHER port has fallen off on EACH feeder. I could find one of the fallen ports, so I reattached with another large cable tie, but I couldn't find the other port, so the feeder has been rendered useless. So it's a great feeder as long as you never want to clean and reuse it.... For me, that's too much money to pay for a one-off bird feeder
