GREAT service!

Both Justin and Vishal at In Motion Hosting were just great! They set up our entire website (BlueStarsAbove.com) and were so patient with we who are tech challenged! I would highly recommend this company!

Consistently Good Service and Support

I've been an InMotion Hosting customer since 2011. Service and support have always been top notch. In this instance, I engaged their development team to add elements to my website that I could not do on my own. My website crashed in recent months, and I spent a fair amount of time bringing it back to life. However, I needed to outsource certain design tasks, and IMH matched me up with Abhay Shah and his developers to finalize the redeveloped site. They did a great job with a very fast turnaround and within budget. I wouldn't hesitate to use these services again.

I had been with Bluehost for over 15…

I had been with Bluehost for over 15 years but they could not offer me a package at a cost i wanted to pay that was unlimited.
I found the chat online service and subsequent service emails to be fast and incredibly helpful, in particular Robert J who guided me all the way through the transfers of three websites and multiple emails.
I would highly recommend the US$199 migration fee service this saved me hours of my own time and possible issues and website down time.
They answered all questions clearly and gave their time very professionally.
I look forward to many years with this great company who know how to do real customer service from start to finish

Great hosting company

Great hosting company, just renewed my VPS hosting for another 3 years. I have been a client of their VPS services for 3 years now and love it. they have amazing service most of which I have used without paying extra even when I needed Semi managed solution for my hosting. the Latency and ping is also great for the european servers I get a ping of less then 70ms which is amazing.

Awesome help in switching from a different hosting company.

I needed to switch servers for my website, and InMotion had great features and good prices.
But unfortunately I was unable to make a backup on my previous server, and I asked InMotion to help, Dakota the representative who helped me was very helpful, and got my files transfered very quickly, and he even gave me a good deal as the transfer wasn't the easiest since the previous server would not make a backup.

You saved me a lot of work.

Poor & Slow Support and servers are not reliable

I have been with them for many years, sadly the quality of their servers and support went down over the last 3 years. I would avoid at all cost. It can take 1h to talk to someone and their VPS always have issues, probably because they are overcrowded. And they always tell you it's because of your site, so they never take responsibility for their problems.

Jamie F has been incredibly helpful in setting up my NodeJS app. I'm a complete beginner with all of this. He has very patiently helped me and explained everything he's done very clearly. InMotionHosting is DKIM-Signature ignorant

InMotionHosting is the WRONG email provider if you need to interact with mailing lists for help/support. They do not (and refuse) to understand the email DKIM-Signature header. They think it's OK to include List- headers within the h= section of DKIM-Signature while your email is forwarded WITHOUT List- headers; this causes some list servers to reject your email. InMotion Hosting are obstinate about their incorrect and RFC contrary implementation. In order to be able to get help from the pgsql-general at postgresql.org list; I will have to switch to another email provider.

6/19/25 Jenni, have you read & understood BUG#18822??? Especially:
> The short answer here is that your ISP are fools, or else are
> intentionally preventing their users from participating in
> mailing lists.
That statement is about email providers like InMotionHosting.

For unique situations, customization to the DKIM headers can be made on our VPS/Dedicated hosting plans. We can connect you with our Solutions team to review these settings on your server and offer support. Your feedback is valuable as we improve our services.

We reviewed PostgreSQL forums and discovered that a similar issue was resolved by modifying Exim rules. For reference, see BUG #18822: mailing lists reject mails due to DKIM-signature (https://www.postgresql.org/message-id/Z7oNu1KTYbb5F8np%40momjian.us).

Great service, even better people

I've been an InMotion Hosting customer for nearly 20 years. First using them as a host for my site, and then as the data center behind my web development and hosting business. The InMotion Solutions team (previously Managed Hosting) is the primary reason I've been an IMH customer for so long. Their data center is great, and highly reliable, but the people there make all the difference. This week alone I've worked with Stephan, Sean, and Mohammad to work on client issues and resolve a server problem I was having, and the three of them are simply exceptional.
