Order stuck with 3rd-party shipper — no updates, no support
I placed an order for wheels from InlineWarehouse five days ago. It shipped the following day from California to Salt Lake City via GLS, a third-party logistics company (not a major carrier like UPS or FedEx). According to GLS, transit time to Salt Lake City should be 1–2 days — but four days later, I still have no idea where the package is.
GLS’s tracking page provides only a vague list of scan events, with no meaningful status updates. I’ve tried to reach their support chat multiple times, but it times out after 5–10 minutes and tells me to email them instead. I did that, but haven’t received any response.
The last update shows the package scanned two days ago at a depot in Boise — and now it’s just… sitting there? In Transit? Who knows. With the holiday (July 4) approaching tomorrow, it’s unlikely I’ll see the wheels for several more days.
It’s extremely frustrating to be stuck in limbo with no way to get help. Based on this experience, I won’t be ordering from InlineWarehouse again and wouldn’t recommend it to others.
