However I found the assembly very much a matter of engineeringg common sense

Hyundai Petrol Lawnmower - HYM460SP.
Used ONCE - hasn’t started since…. !

Followed instructions to clear out and replace fuel just in case. Checked spark plug, emptied the carburettor as per instructions, charged and checked oil and still will not start.

I’m sure that when this works it’s a great product!

Unfortunately, any 3 year warranty is irrelevant as Hyundai seemingly outsource customer support to Genpower Ltd , who in turn use the Jotform platform - all are dreadful!

For example, this is their 3rd attempt at customer support with a product used only once:

Are you able to check the following items, please

Can you make sure the fuel filter is clean

Can you make sure the fuel lines are intact not cut or damaged

Can you make sure the fuel is hitting the primer

Can you make sure the air filter is clean

Can you remove the spark plug and check to see if the bottom of it is not dirty or wet

Can you check for spark

Can you check to make sure the is the right amount of oil in the sump

Are you able to let me know if the fuel is going up to the carburettor?

when you are trying to start the machine whats the machine doing?

Unfortunately, I’m not a Hyundai technician or an engineer, so having done everything possible myself - I’ve given up!

An expensive single cut of the lawn - Hyundai, a brand I’ll never use again!!!

Good service and communication

The mower was ordered direct from Hyundai late Friday afternoon and arrived the following Tuesday morning. Ordering process was very easy and great communications with delivery company. The mower was quickly assembled thanks to the enclosed picture instructions and also a helpful you tube video from Hyundai.
The mower started first time and first cut today which was effortless thanks to the electric start and the self propelled system. Produced an excellent cut.
The only thing that I found disappointing is the large gap on the cutting height adjustment between position 1 (lowest cut) and position 2. There is plenty of room for another setting between these 2 positions compared to the gaps between the other settings. This would provide more flexibility for another level of cut between 1 and 2 and would be easy to achieve. This large gap seems a missed opportunity to give another cutting option.
Other than that a great lawnmower.

Purchased a Hyundai HYM510SP Petrol Lawnmower from Robert Dyas, good price. Arrived very quickly via TNT. Was easy to assemble from the user guide, YouTube guide also helped. Had my front lawn cut within 1.5 hours of opening the box. Much quicker than my old mower as wider cut and larger grass box. The Machine is well constructed, started easily, does what it says on the box, impressed by the water hose connection for cleaning. It seems like a quality product. It cuts beautifully and the Lawn looks amazing. I'm glad that I bought the self-propelled version as it's heavier than I expected. Can't believe it's taken me this long to ditch my old mower. Very happy customer.

I purchased a 21inch Hyundia mower two years ago and it’s the worse one I’ve ever owned and I’ve had a few. It’s now in my garage broken again and no spare parts available. Unfortunately you have to deal with Genpower their distributor who are hopeless and couldn’t care less.
DO NOT BUY A HYUNDIA MOWER.

We bought a Hyundai hym400p after our last petrol mower conked out after 14 years,it came at a great price and all reviews were positive.
Lovely mower has 7 levels of cut which is great,very happy with product and hope for many carefree cutting with it.

Wanted a replacement 40cm petrol mower and this fitted the bill. Good reviews and has lived up to those 5 star reviews so far. Good that it has a polypropylene deck as that was the failing on my old mower. Cuts well and lots of height settings easily adjusted from one lever. Delivered in a few days. Seems well built and was easy to assemble, add the oil supplied and fuel and way we go. 3 year warranty a bonus.
