Great quality product and a lot of special polishes. It is a bit on the expensive side especially with shipping to other places than America. But I found some friends to buy together with. Have been loving the products for years now

I have ordered for years and while some orders take time I have also gotten them super fast! Holo Taco is improving and while I have not had thickness issues with any polish I know the concern had been talked about. I only buy it once or twice a year- still trying to get through polish from years ago- but great success overall! Lastly, the last directly purchased was the Safiya bundle collection in 9/28/2023 but have gotten many gifts in 2024 for my birthday and winter holiday. I can only ba k date this review to 3/10/2024

The quality of the brand is fantastic! I’m not very talented when it comes to doing manicures, but with the nail polishes from Holo Taco, even I can create a beautiful look for my nails. The product range has something for every style and every taste. For me, the prices are reasonable.
I live in Germany and usually have to wait up to six days for my order to arrive, which I find absolutely fine. If something doesn’t work out (so far, there has only been one issue, which I caused myself), customer support responds very quickly. If a new collection has just been released, it might take a few days, but they are always committed to finding a quick and straightforward solution.

I actually only have one example of this. I wanted to redeem my gift code. I went to the relevant page and selected a polish. Unfortunately, I forgot to enter the code. I contacted customer support because I thought Holo Taco had made an error. The staff member replied within a few hours, explained the mistake to me, and refunded the money for the polish. In the end, everything worked out.

For me, it was a great experience. The entire company and its founder, Cristine, are simply very personable, transparent, and attentive. I recommend everyone who enjoys nail polish to order from them at least once.

I ordered 2 things of nail polish it’s been over 3 weeks and I still have yet to see it. They just sent me an email today to tell me they put another order in and it will take another 8-10 business days. The event I needed it for has already came and gone. Absolutely frustrated with this company.

If I had the money I would throw away every other nailpolish I own, and dedicate my collection to Holo Taco. I have a lot of random cheap stuff, organic, vegan, biodegradable, even water-based polishes, OPI, Essie, Sally Hansen... Basically everything besides gel polishes, but nothing has ever gotten me as excited as the polishes fom Holo Taco.

They're smooth and shiny, the special effect polishes are mesmerizing, and they are extremely durable! Easy to remove, even the glitters don't put up as much of a fight as other glitter polishes.
I want one of each and it's only a matter of time before I get them. I'm obsessed!

First time buyer, I'm in the UK,so expected it to take a while to arrive, it was here in 2 days!
Securely and beautifully packaged.
All the colours are amazing,and long lasting but was really impressed with the one coat black,I used it 4 days ago,and no chips yet.
Will definitely buy again.

I love everything about Halo Taco except the liquid latex protection. It is way too sticky and doesn't peel off easy at all.

I love these nail polishes, they go on so smoothly, nice rich colour and they dry very quickly. I’m loving trying the new products on my nails. I live in the UK and they’re shipped from the US and they arrive usually surprisingly quickly.

Love their polishes, have bought 3 different sets now and they're all fantastic. I was never super into doing my nails before I bought my first set (the pastel rainbow), and now I try something new every few days. Doing gradients using the holos is amazing!

Best nail polish products I have ever used. I am a longtime fan of Simply Nailogical (Cristine) and her content, and I believe that she is an ethical businessperson who makes a high-quality product that she loves & cares about and doesn't over-inflate the prices just to make a quick buck. I have to assure friends when I rave about Holo Taco that I'm *not* getting any sort of commission from it! 😂 I have found painting my nails to be a form of meditation and I love using Holo Taco's bright & colourful polishes with all the holo rainbows. 🌈💿🌮

I recently purchased a bundle containing: long lasting base coat, one coat black, scattered holo taco and the glossy taco. I ordered May 5th and even had some shipping issues which were very quickly resolved by some of the best customer service I’ve had. (very thoughtful, quick and resolved my issue within a matter of a day). Even with that my order arrived within about 10 days to Scotland!
I’m allergic to gel polish which pushed me into trying Holo Taco to see how good it is as my usual nail polish does not last a day without chipping at work, I’m currently on day 5 with zero chips and they look as good as the day I painted them! If you struggle with chipping polish or work with your hands I could not recommend Holo Taco more, 100% worth the money and will be buying from there again.

I bought toe beans, I was so excited, it seemed soo promising.
I cannot count how many different ways I tried to apply this polish. The consistency is thick, at least for me, I had a bad time trying to control the amount of product coming out of the brush. It would not construct layers smoothly, every time I applied the brush, it leaves dentations and bubbles.
The worst for me is that, it takes too long to dry. I tried to apply a top coat and no do, it completely rip it off only by tickling the polish.
The colour and holographic are gorgeous, reason why I gave 3 stars. But extremely impractical, it took me a long time to finish my nails because I have to remove them and try again multiple times.

The products are very hit or miss.
I love the crème polishes and the base coat especially, the long lasting base is one of my holy grails and actually does make your polish last extra long without chipping.
But the top coats and metallic polishes are just awful. They’re way too thick and after a day of wear, air bubbles was all over my nails. It was hard to look at especially if you have Trypophobia. I’ve tried adding nail polish thinner, but I still have the same problem. I’d say they definitely need reworking. It’s sucks as I can’t use half of my order and I spent over £200 on a holo taco haul and now they’re just going to be ornaments on my shelf.
I’d say avoid the topcoats and just stick to the cremes and glitter polishes.

The polishes and toppers are extremely high quality, with a great variety of special effects & formulations. The shade range is constantly being added to. Swatches are shown on a variety of nail lengths, skin tones and lighting conditions on the website. Because the polishes are so highly pigmented, you do need to have a good polish thinner in reserve (NOT containing acetone) but this is much easier to deal with than a polish that is too runnt. If you don't get on with the very skinny application brushes used in most of the polishes, wider ones (the same size as the brushes provided in the creme polishes) can be purchased to replace them. Finally, any problems with shipping or product quality can be reported to the customer service department via email for a helpful, courteous response within 48 hours.

The only disappointment I’ve had with holo taco is when my favorite polish got discontinued because it didn’t age well. But literally ever other color survives. I own every collection minus one or two because they sold out by the time I was able to afford them. I will continue to support Cristine with no H until I go broke. The nail polish is sincerely top shelf quality and I constantly advertise to my friends and family. I have successfully coverted at least a dozen of them to holosexuals. 1,000/10 will always recommend, it is the ONLY recommendation.

I bought the magnetic bundle set for my daughter for Christmas and she loves it. Customer service very quick to respond as well.
