Affordable but not made well!

I wore these boots daily and after 6 weeks the soles of the right shoe came unglued from the upper material. I had bought some shoe inserts to make them more comfortable but that didn't even help with the hard plastic of the soles. There are better boots out there for a little bit more that are made better with better materials. I will definitely not buy high-tech boots again!

HI TEC MULTITERRA AERO

HI TEC MULTITERRA AERO. Hiking / Walking Trainers.

I bought a pair of these for a trip to Pompeii. They lasted less than a day before the soles parted company with the uppers on both shoes. Abysmal quality.

I have bought Hi-tec ‘squash’ shoes for years and would swear by them but these ‘shoes’ should be avoided at all costs as they are not fit for purpose.

Shoes unfortunately broke after two weeks

I bought a pair of shoes from in March. The pair were super good to walk in and the waterproof was working. Though after two weeks they started falling apart. Holes starting to appear, the shoelace holders fell out and the inside sole started to tear. All happened within a month. I worth them multiple times asking regarding this just seeking information but have not received any response.
Now the shoes are completely done. Too many things are broken on them to use anymore.
This pair of shoes was super good for walking, but the quality was very rubbish.

Initially very comfortable but not well made

Third pair of Hi-Tec Quadra I've had... first pair the glue bonding the soles to the shoes failed. Second pair after about six months the insides of the soles just fell apart, it was like walking on a bare foot shoe with random rubble in. Third pair it looks like one of the side panel stiffeners has either broken or was mis-cut and the leather has worn a hole. Maybe I am a sucker for buying two more after the soles fell off, trouble is when they are new they are so so comfortable. But they don't last, from three different failure modes, so it's not something I do to them, it's inconsistent bad build quality.

I purchased a pair of Summit Women's Walking Boots some 7mths ago They almost immediately developed a fault. Every time I take a step the right boot makes a cracking noise. I suspect the Shank is loose/broken. I contacted their Customer Care to be informed they will not accept returns and I will have to take them back to the shop I purchased them from. When I explained it had since closed down they basically said hard luck. Never buy anything from this useless company again.

I only had the shoes on for 30min and my feet where in double the pain I have had with my worn out shoes, that is when I tried to get a refund form the shop the same day they refused to do so. The shoes are in the same condition I bought them and I am upset with the sales assistant whom sold it to me. I have no use for shoes that won't last a month at best and the price is not worth the shoes quality and wasting money. Pep stores can get me 2 pairs of shoes for the price of 1 Hi-Tech shoe price for the same quality.

Rubbish quality

Rubbish quality. I bought these Hi Tec Altitude VI boots to replace 30 year old Scarpa boots and they didn’t last 30 weeks haha. The leather has split and fractured all around the sides where the boot flexes as you walk. The sales pitch mentions durability but that must refer to the company’s ability to stay in business selling such poor quality products. These are easily the lowest quality footwear I have ever owned and they were well over $200.

Hi Tec boots don't buy

I have had a pair of his tec pioneer waterproof boots for a few years BUT they have only been used 5 or 6 times.
I am currently in Sri Lanka and they have fallen apart.
The left boot sole has detached from from the upper from the toe to the ball of the foot. The right boot has split and showing signs that the sole is about to also detach from the uppers.
They look the part but are actually rubbish

Storm Waterproof Boots

Purchased a pair of Storm waterproof boots in a sale (direct from Hi-Tec) after using them many times. Reviewed the boots as 4 star after purchase (slightly snug over toes). Unfortunately leaked after very little wear. Hi-tec would not replace, only refund even though they had exact pair in stock (probably because I bought them in a sale). I bought two other pairs of footwear after I purchased these boots but will not be using hi-Tec again!

Purchased a pair of Hi Tec waterproof walking boots less than two months old and the surface is cracking. Such a shame as they looked good were comfortable but sadly not fit for purpose.

Hi Tec Vibrant (not so waterproof)…

Hi Tec Vibrant (not so waterproof) boots.
Bought last winter. Used about 10 times. Cleaned them, treated them, they've been in my shoe rack for a few months until today. Used them in a few inch high long wet grass this morning - feet wet! On closer inspection the leather upper has come away from the sole at exactly the same place on each boot. A gap of around 2cm long by where the little toes are. Can't get a refund. Robbed of just over £50! Will never buy Hi Tec again! Pfft!

Hi-tec Torca Boots

Bought a pair of ladies torca mid height waterproof boots - they are not waterproof, one stroll through short wet grass and my feet were soaked which wasn't very pleasant with a squelchy 4 mile walk home! I've had several pairs of Hi-tec hiking boots over the years but I won't buy again!
