Snoo should not sell refurbished/used units if their product is not made to withstand multiple babies. I basically paid $900 for a paperweight and their customer support team is insultingly bad.
We used the Snoo for both of our daughters - a lifesaver!!
After spending $1,500 on a bassinet, I was shocked to discover that it requires a $20 monthly subscription to function properly—something that isn’t made clear until you start using it. This feels lik... See more

Terrible customer service.
I was gifted a snoo, that while initially was working fine is no longer moving. I first emailed days ago. Every time I have requested a way to communicate synchronously ideally by phone. These requests have been denied. There is a phone number at the bottom of the email which when I call simply states to send an email and does not give any option to hold for a representative. There were multiple emails back-and-forth with requests for information and requests for multiple videos. Finally, after days of back-and-forth, you only informed me that you cannot even provide support the product because it is outside the warranty, thus wasting my time producing videos, sending emails and my days with a newborn. While my prior experience with the product was a good one, The customer service is one of the worst I’ve ever experienced, wasting my time and sleepless nights.

SNOO malfunctions, implying safety issues - advise against purchasing
I’m deeply disappointed with the SNOO Smart Sleeper Bassinet, which frequently shuts off unexpectedly during use, disrupting my infant’s sleep and posing potential safety concerns. Within minutes of starting (1–40 minutes), the SNOO stops rocking, enters standby mode, and sometimes shows a false "clips not engaged" message despite secure clips. This happens near-nightly, with some users reporting 12 shutoffs in 17 nights. Restarting helps temporarily, but the issue recurs, causing sleep deprivation, stress, and, in my case, worsening postpartum recovery.
Happiest Baby’s customer service provided only basic troubleshooting (e.g., cleaning clips, unplugging), which didn’t fix the problem. They acknowledge this as a “known” issue but offer replacements only for in-warranty units, leaving out-of-warranty users like me without solutions. Reddit’s r/SnooLife shows dozens of identical complaints, pointing to faulty clip sensor wiring or design flaws, with some resorting to unsafe workarounds or third-party repair kits (SnoozyMama). For a $1,695 FDA-approved product marketed for reliability, this is unacceptable. The SNOO’s widespread malfunctions and Happiest Baby’s inadequate response demand an FDA investigation into its safety and quality. Avoid this product until these issues are addressed.

Deceitful conduct, locking previously free basic functions behind subscription
Purchased a $2k snoo for reasons I won’t get into here, just know that it was needed. After using it as intended with first child, have now found those basic features are now locked behind a premium subscription (totally unaffordable $30 USD per month) this is completely unethical and prevents parents from using this product as agreed and intended. Untrustworthy product and now pretty useless in our household.

Not recommended based on return policy.
I’ve heard that the SNOO was very helpful with their child’s sleep from multiple people I know, so when I saw a sale going on where I could rent the SNOO for 6 months for 30% off, we took the deal, with the intention of saving us money since 6 months is about how long we’d need it. It was cheaper than renting it on a month by month basis for $150. It would have been fine, however our child did not like the SNOO, he screamed every time he was in it and it didn’t soothe him at all. So we put in a return with the goal of getting the almost $700 we paid for the rental back. It was within the 30 days a return is eligible for, and I had emailed customer service and asked about a refund and they said as long as it was returned within 30 days, we’d get one.
Refund went through, and a month later no refund. Come to find out that the refund is only available if you purchase the SNOO, not rent, even within the 30 days, and even if it didn’t work for your baby. We can’t get it back either now since it was shipped back (which costs the buyer btw).
I would NOT recommend this, as unless you’re willing to drop $1500+ on a new one, you’re guaranteed to be out $700+ even if it doesn’t work. I’m glad it worked for the people I know, but I feel bad that I basically handed this company over $700 for nothing.

Harassed content creating who lost her baby
Just watched a video about a woman's who is also a content creator on youtube's, unexpected loss of her child and how happiest baby requested the bassinet back due to her being unable to use it to produce content to promote the business. I feel that a brand all about babe's could have taken some time to allow this woman to grieve her loss before demanding back the product sent to her given the circumstances. It's truly disgusting to think a company all about babies would treat a grieving mother the way this company has treated this woman. I'm glad I've never purchased from this overpriced company and I'm glad I'm done having children. But I'll definitely be encouraging friends and family with children on the way to boycot this company.

Do not buy anything and return your products if you can.
Seen a recent post on how they treat their customers, they deserve nothing but to be bankrupt, it’ll be helpful to find out what other companies they’re associated with also.

Baby Company wants newly grieving mother to return bassinet.
Baby crib company HAPPIEST BABY, does not care about its customers. They had sent a new mom a crib to do content to promote their business. Unfortunately and unexpectedly this mom’s baby passed away. Guess what Happist Baby did not even a week later? They told the new grieving mother to return crib since she can’t make content. How evil 😡
