GAP unsupportive with UPS's delivery error
UPS has mixed up my GAP order and delivered it to someone else. Because it happened once already, GAP refuses to refund me or send me another order. The funny thing is that, once, I received by mistake someone else's order, and I took the time to liaise with GAP and send it back to them. I have ordered from GAP for over 10 years, if this does not get sorted out, I will never order from them again.

Gap stole purchased items
Gap stole my money and purchased items. We purchased 12 items totaling $300, but only 5 items were included in the small package. The 7 missing items amounted to over $100. We submitted a claim, but it was denied the very next day without any explanation. As a result, Gap has lost a loyal customer. We will never purchase anything from them again. In the meantime, this fraudulent practice will be reported to the OAG, FTC, and BBB.

Terrible Customer Service when Calling
If you have an issue with someone at the customer service phone number- Good Luck! According to them, they are "supervisors" and they will tell you there is noone in a position above them. So if you have an issue, there is noone to solve it, and noone to report it to. GAP Should be aware of this, And so should anyone planning to shop there. They're UNhelpful, Rude, And Ask questions about your personal life that are inappropriate. Once upon a time Gap was a good brand. Not anymore. Their quality has gone down, and their prices have gone up. And the customer service when you call is horrendous, and it's the reaon i will no longer spend my money with them. I would never advise anyone I know to shop at a store with phone representatives so arrogant that they block you from speaking to Real Management if you have a problem. Clearly retaining customers isn't what they care about. There are Many Many places to shop, without having to deal with such people. And I can see why many websites show the ratings so low for the company. And most of those ratings are because of experiences with their employees.

I have never before had a problem with Gap jeans; the sizing (29/30) has always been fine. Not this time. I ordered a pair of size 30 jeans in the sale but they were TINY, at least a UK size 8. I will have to return them - at extra cost to myself, of course.

Don’t buy from them!
Whatever you do, do not buy anything from Baby Gap that is not clothing… they do not stand behind things like a bassinet. I eventually gave up getting a refund for a damaged bassinet and lost $115 because of a damaged screw….it was literally the worst customer experience I have ever had and their “Dropship” team was a disaster….

Gap is a terrible store with very unfriendly customer service! I needed to return at item in NEW CONDITION because it was a size too small, but I got ripped off with their “30 day return policy”, which is absolutely ridiculous! I have shopped at other stores such as American Eagle and Dillard’s which have very good customer service and I was able to get the product returned EASILY, whether it was returned in a month or more! No issues! But Gap is a scammy company with terrible policies! Even worse, you will be hung up by customer service when you call about an issue! Very rude! Every employee I have been “assisted” by has been rude and/or inexperienced! I will NO LONGER shop at this terrible cheap store EVER AGAIN!

I saw a popup in your app offering a $20 cashback, but it turns out it's not cashback at all—it’s a subscription! There was no mention of this anywhere.
To unsubscribe, I was required to call them because the “we are sorry to see you go” button is a fake. It's a deceptive way to get my money under the guise of a "misunderstanding." They have already charged me for a "trial," and now they refuse to delete my account, along with all my payment details.
I trusted you as a customer, but this feels like a complete fraud.

Terrible quality and don't stand behind their products
I bought 3 pairs of CashSoft Joggers as Christmas Gifts and they were terrible quality. After one wash all 3 were badly pilled and unwearable. I called Gap and they said I could return them if I was unsatisfied with the quality. They then sent them back to me indicating they could not refund me because they had been worn/washed. I called and talked to a Manager, who told me to send them back for another assessment. They sent them back to me again, saying they had been worn, and they were now a late return. Talked to a Manager again, and they said there was "nothing they could do". I will never buy anything from the Gap again - their quality is declining and they don't stand behind their products.

I am so done with this store and I want to share what happened to me recently. I always shop at the Gap inside and online. I was excited to see the particular colorful turtleneck and not to mention the price (nice sale) i received an email stating my order was delivered. I got home nothing was outside my door. I called the man with a slight language barrier saying som one took a picture. My response was i didn't get the picture. He tells me
to wait 72 hours. I was offended that them to treat me like i was a liar or something. The best customer service should have been totally different. I decided i wont call back nor will i ever shop there again. Be cautious you wont get yiurnstuff nor your money back.The gap is ruthless.

Treatment of loyal customers
I started out with a $500 credit limit after using this credit card (Gap/Navy) for almost a year. They dropped my credit limit to $300 just because my credit score went down which had nothing to do with them in the first place cause I paid this credit card every single month never late. I have no desire to have a credit card from a company that goes by your credit score to have the right to lower your credit limit even though your pain stupid as a thing I’ve ever heard. There are several reasons for your credit score to bounce and fluctuate and it doesn’t have to have anything to do with your credit card payment?

Gap stealing from customers
I ordered 7 items. Received only 6. They are making it impossible to either send me money back, or send the item itself. They are keeping my money and saying I have to solve it with my bank. They said they are denying my claim because I only have ever ordered twice with them. My order history is not robust enough for them to accept my claim.
Shameful business practice in other words called STEALING FROM CUSTOMERS.

Ordered a kids puffer jacket online. Received the coat and it was dirty( looked like it was covered in food), had zero tags and reeked of perfume or strong detergent. Returned online with reason being damage. Received an email a week later letting me know that they would not be refunding my money due to no tags and being used. I sent it back literally the day I received it! How are they still in business!

Worst customer service experience…
Worst customer service experience ever!!!! I was wanting to return a shirt I bought and was not able to print the label, so... I saw that they said if you need another option please contact us. So I did, and they sent me the same label in which I cannot print. Then he hung up on me after I asked if he could send a QR code so the post office could print it. Never buying online again. Plus the shirt was low budget quality.

very bad customer service deny responsibility
From now on, I will never buy from your store again because of the lack of responsibility in losing customers' goods without being able to provide a reasonable solution. The lack of professionalism in customer care, the goods only have the street name but not the customer's house number, leading to lost goods and shirking responsibility when customers call to complain. My friends, my family and I all like your brand, but from now on we will stop shopping from you because of this lack of responsibility. Indian Customer Reps Redirected Me to a Scam Call Center
Avoid GAP at all costs if you're paying with a debit card. They canceled my order but never refunded me, insisting they didn’t charge anything — even though debit card transactions are instant.
When I dialled 1-800-427-7895 and asked to speak to a manager, the call center agent (with an Indian accent) put me on hold and transferred me to what seemed like a scam call center. Some woman there started asking for my social security number, claiming it was needed to "look into the issue." Absolutely disgraceful experience.
