On September 8, 2020, I ordered five potentiometers from Futurlec's website and paid with my Visa card. However, I did not receive an order confirmation or shipping information. After four weeks, I started to get nervous. I searched for reviews on Trustpilot and found that most of them were one star. I thought, "OMG, I was tricked by scammers!" I wrote a harsh email asking about the status of my order. I was amazed to receive a non-fake DHL e-commerce tracking number the next day. The package arrived on October 10, 2020. The five potentiometers are exactly the ones I ordered and work perfectly. So, in my case, there is little to complain about. One suggestion would be for the store to provide order and shipping status updates via email. That would make things more transparent.

As long as you're not in a rush to get them, they have good parts a great prices. I have made 5 or 6 orders from their website and have never had an issue receiving them. They do take a while to get here since they're coming from overseas but that is not to be unexpected.

They do have expedited options but I have never tried those.

Slow but items do come. Keep in mind they are far and shipping can take 2 to 3 wks. Well packaged and good quality, great prices. Worth the wait!

Scum of the earth. I don't understand how they are still in business. I ordered from them twice and always had to get refunds. They never shipped anything

paid for express post heared nothing for a week then when I asked about my order recieved one email from amp@futurlec saying 2 items were missing did I want to wait ( I answered NO send now ) then received an email from credit card@futurlec saying five items were missing so 2 weeks later after confirming serveral times I wanted the items I received them 3 items are incorrect values or amounts ( 2 but I ordered 22) and five items missing at this point I spoke to amp who said ok ill send items that were wrong but nothing now ignored shameful 3 years ago one of the best but now too risky and messy. A month after receiving my parcel I get a refund for the missing items only no incorrect item replacements but my bank sorted that not Futurlec.

Ordered from them a month ago. Inquired as to the status of my order after 2 weeks - got a cryptic answer that led me to believe English is not a strong skill there:

A new shipment will arrive at our warehouse in 5-7 days when your order is shipped.

2 weeks later I inquired about my order again. No response after repeated attempts.

Do not order from these .... people. You'll only loose your money.

I ordered a bunch of transistors on Feb 18th 2015 and did not receive any shipment until April 13th 2015. I asked by mail about the situation and there was no reply.
But the credit card was charged immediately.

Online stock status seems always outdated, of my last five order every everything was "in stock" but orders didn't ship. After 1-2 weeks i contact them asking what the hold up is, and I'm usualy told that one or more components are "due this week" and my order will ship soon. Then after 3-4 more weeks they ship it. Two last orders they've even been reluctant to cancel the out of stock components. Last year this was my favourite site, good prices, 1-2 days to ship, and 5-8 days delivey to Europe. Now I've placed my last order with them.

I used these quite a bit in the past but they have got worse to the point where I have found alternative suppliers.
For example the previous to last order was placed in September 2013 and arrived May 2014. The last (and this will be the very last) was placed on 19th February 2014 and not shipped until 13 May 2014 - it still hasn't arrived.

Tough to get a hold of customer service. Some items are shipped from Malaysia and can take much longer than the 7-10 days, but they don't tell you this.
