Auto Renewal
I experienced auto renewal last year and at that time I contacted Furnished finder. They stated their no refund policy and suggested that I disabled the auto-renew option. Which I did with them on the phone. I asked about removing my credit card from the account, they stated it could not be removed. I asked about a confirmation email proving that auto-renew was disabled, they stated I would receive an email. I received an alert this year stating that my card was being charged. I contacted customer service to state that I disabled auto-renew last year. I asked if I would have received an email, they stated yes. I logged into the account, toggled the function, and no email was sent. I am disputing this charge, and I will be sending a formal complaint to the better business bureau. Unless the consumer takes a picture they have no proof that this option is disabled. I haven't used the app in 2 years. I requested that my account be deleted along with all of my data, I was told it would happen in 48 hours. It has been nearly 3 weeks, and the account is still active. This is the very reason I never sign up for auto renewal, and the very reason providers do this is so they can get your money.

Patricia in Wisconsin Dells
I'm currently renting from Patricia in the Wisconsin Dells, and honestly, it's ridiculous. She expects you to be back in the house by 9:00 PM sharp, or else good luck getting in! If you're even a minute late, she locks everything up tight, and you might as well plan on sleeping in your car. Just a real shining example of hospitality, right?
Patricia claims that being late disrupts the other tenants, but it feels more like she just likes having her little power trip. And don’t even think about eating anywhere but the kitchen—she has the dining room fenced off! If she spots you wandering near it, forget it.
Oh, and good luck with the temperature in your room. It got up to 96 degrees last week, thanks to the heat outside, and her solution? "Just open the window and deal with it." A/C is apparently a luxury she can't be bothered to provide. She has this bizarre belief that running it will cost her too much, so we’re all left sweating it out.
And heaven forbid you try to take a shower after her arbitrary cutoff time. She seems to have a schedule for everything! It’s almost laughable how controlling she is. Honestly, this whole experience has been incredibly disappointing.

Do not use this service
Full of fake ads/scammers. Weak IT controls. Little willingness to pre-screen landlords, putting the burden on possible renters.

I have never gotten interest or a booking from Furnished Finder. They refused to refund my auto-renewal when I wanted to opt out; which most companies do. In brief, I will never use them, again!

waste of time
It's a complete waste of time. 90% of the landlords don't respond and some will respond and say their space is booked even when it says available on FF. I'm moving and a landlord said I could view the place & gave it to someone before the viewing,

I will be damned if I pay this company one cent. They had me auto pay when I know I didn't agree to this. I actually went into my account to ensure autopay was turned off. Yesterday I received an alert that I was being charged for renewal. I've contacted AMEX to dispute this charge. I also called this company and I received a disrespectful denial for a refund. Do not utilize this service, there are many other trustworthy companies that can provide listings for rental properties. I never received a reasonable lead from any perspective renter for my property. This is all a scam and someone should look into this.

Furnished finders is a Platform they do not protect the consumer, if you have a problem and present it they state we are only a platform and do not deal with issues regarding the rental. They get 200 dollars for each posting but they do not back the consumer who rents from their platform in good faith So stay away as the deposits you put down will never be refunded

This company is a complete waste of time and money. List your property on Airbnb, where you only have to pay a fee if your property is booked, not upfront with zero guarantee. I only received leads for dates my property was not available.

What a joke of a scammy company
What a joke of a scammy company.
They will nickel and dime the hosts for everything.
In the last 3 years I’ve paid, I haven’t gotten one qualified lead. They had me set on auto renewal and when it renewed I reached out within a few days and asked to be reimbursed they denied it.
Avoid it and use something better.

Great concept; hope FF bolsters interface to make it into what it could be…
Furnished Finder is a great concept but SO many glitches and constant need to contact customer care had me thinking it was user error. Even after spending hours on training videos and a new computer, the problems persist. Too much inconsistency… when one problem is solved, another presents itself. I’m trying to work with it for professional continuity (tenants want to see how long you’ve been a host and reviews). Could be better. Please prioritize IT improvements asap!

Terrible platform for both honest hosts and tenants
Terrible platform for both hosts and tenants. Realistically, all platforms will include a percentage of hosts and tenants with bad intentions. However, FF is by far the worst we have ever utilized, and we have been using rental homes for lodging since Covid, when we changed our lives to one of travel & work. FF website is the WORST. Messages are not delivered, disappear, and they allow fraudulent listings, even after repeatedly reported. It is all about the money to FF. From a tenant perspective (and I was once a LL for many years), FF fails to acknowledge when a tenant reports a false listing, thus further people are impacted and loose money & time. They do not monitor listings, thus you do NOT get what the listing implies, resulting in: dirty & even toxic (mold) homes for rent, no supplies as promised, no parking, windows and doors that do not lock, in other words over 50% of these homes post old or fake photos, and homes are nothing short of disgusting if not unhealthy and unsafe. Unwashed dishes (if there are any), and if there really is a washer & dryer, they are filthy. If you do have outdoor space, it can be insect ridden, unkept, and even rat infestation has been found. We were bitten by harvestor ants at a home and the homeowner refused to believe us. The homes are posted to be located in an area that is OK, yet they are in a crime ridden part of town. Don’t believe the location indicator- ALWAYS figure out where the home is by street view apps, if you can, ask to see the home (which is typically refused) and google the landlord name, if they provide it, which is rare. We have had hosts that used fake names. Look for reviews. There is a reason a home has been listed for years and there are ZERO reviews. We left an honest review for a home and the homeowner tried to retaliate, find out where we were, etc. Thus, we only leave reviews if the home deserves it. In the 9 homes we have rented, only 2 deserved reviews. We have experienced OK homes, just to be continuously manipulated by the schedule of repair companies. We rented a home in Tucson that was good, but then for a week of our 4 weeks, we endured both appliance and HVAC repair companies for days. No one ever offered compensation for days we had to leave due to the home being ozoned or fumigated due to toxicity or insect infestation. SO MANY RED FLAGS. We sadly to rent homes that include utilities and furnishings because of needing short or mid term lodging. WE NEED AN ALTERNATIVE TO FURNISHED FINDER!

I listed my property on Furnished…
I listed my home on Furnished Finder with the goal of securing a tenant for a minimum one-year lease. Before paying the $179 membership fee, I spoke with customer service and was assured that hundreds of renters were actively seeking long-term housing on the platform. Based on that information, I felt confident moving forward.
Unfortunately, that turned out to be completely misleading. After posting my listing, I quickly realized that no one on the platform was actually looking for a long-term rental. The few inquiries I received were from people seeking a short-term stay, typically 30 to 90 days. It became evident that Furnished Finder primarily caters to travel nurses and other temporary workers, not to those interested in 12-month leases.
The information I received from customer service was, in my view, deceptive and clearly intended to sell memberships. If you're a landlord looking for a traditional, long-term tenant, this platform is not the right fit. I would advise others to look elsewhere and be cautious of promises made just to secure a sale.

i originally had been using FF since my travels started for about 8 years or so i would say. In the beginning it was great because it was all nursing and traveling healthcare that was able to be rented to and was so affordable. than somewhere along the lines in the last handful of years or so they opened the platform to everyone so it turned into a craigslist ad. the website is awful to use for travelers, you input the date you need and shows you house that is a year out timeframe. If that isnt a stopper, they than they are falsly listed an entire house or studio is just a ENTIRE ROOM that is shared with some stranger who has never been vetted just had to pay to list the site. they want travelers(who are not travelers anymore just local ppl looking for housing) to pay upfront costs for the duration of your stay and inappropriate cleaning and holding fees and non refundable and than double charge for a room and again want you to pay all costs up front, so i needed 12 weeks i pay all that and whatever obligatory fees they require and if your a traveler you have no way of viewing the place before hand unless its a fake show and tell video, so your stuck without the safetynet of AirBNB logistics to fall back on cuz again this is just a craigslist type site now. it is a HORRIBLE and insulting to us that we literally put our lives on the line to care for the sick and injured and than to have to navigate this crap is beyond. I started using AirBNB or hotels as they are either cheaper or the same and come with meals and other amentities and safety nets FF doesnt offer is just that weird lanlords cant compare. if im going to pay 1800 for a shared bathroom and kitchen and cant have pets or coworkers over and have to be out certain times of the day or cant cook certain things and have to listen to your "well mannered" kids and dog bark?! its just wild they are allowing this chaos.

Poor customer service
I was originally very pleased with this company, I found a great home to live in while traveling, and a tenant to rent my home while I was away. However, their customer support is terrible. I only rented my home once, then tried to cancel the account but could only hide it (so I would not receive more requests to rent my home). Then they automatically renewed my account for $179, and refused to refund and cancel my account, even though I emailed and called them on the same day my account was charged. That is very poor business, and I will not ever list with them again.

Not A Good First Impression
I’ve had a terrible time getting started as a host. It took a week to get verified and only occurred after I submitted the verification process/documents about a dozen times on multiple different browsers. Even after I was informed everything was good to go and my listing was active, I’ve had multiple friends try to book to test it and my property shows “Unavailable”. I’ve contacted customer service multiple times, waited days for a reply and still have not had the issue resolved. The “housing inquiry leads” don’t seem promising either. OF COURSE this is the experience from an organization who takes your money up front. Unless something radically changes, I’ll never recommend.

I have a listing with furnished finders and hosted 3 different tenants. I was very happy with all of them. Professionals looking for short or long term furnished properties. Today I noticed while looking for a property for my daughter in Miami that the best way to find them is by using the map they provided with listing but also just enter the parameters you are looking for in their search engine and you will find most of them. The map is more accurate if your future location is a priority.
