I ordered a Firmstrong Urban Man 7 Speed Men's 26" Beach Cruiser on October 6th. A week later, I still has not received any updates about the status of the order, so I contacted Firmstrong about the status of my order via their preferred method of email. A week later, after getting no response, I finally called them to find out the status of my order, to find out the bike was out of stock. I had to wait two weeks and initiate contact with them to find this out, and then the person I spoke to on the phone about this couldn’t care less that their service and response was severely lacking. I spent a lot of time researching bikes before I went with FirmStrong, and I ordered directly from them instead of through a bike shop, as I believe in supporting small local businesses whenever possible, but they need to be better at the post-sale customer dealings.

Men's Urban Firmstrong 26" Cruiser. This is a moderately good bike. The components are fine, but nothing special. Assembly instructions were excellent - the best of any consumer product I have ever bought. The bike is quite heavy, but with the 3-speed, it is easy enough to pedal. I did not like the OEM handlebars, which make for very slow and inaccurate steering, so I switched them out. I have fitted a front hand brake since I found the rear coaster brake slow to respond and inadequate in terms of stopping power. I want to also fit a rear hand brake, but the frame mount on the rear stays is so far from the rear wheel rim that I have been unable to find a rear brake caliper long enough to fit it. Overall, I like the bike and I think it was a decent value. Very prompt shipping, and the bike was well-packaged.

Pretty solid bike. It had some type of Clicking noise at the crank but that went away. I paid a lot less for it than what they are asking for it now post Covid so I feel like I did pretty well. It’s great on the urban trails.

Just received 2 bikes last night for my wife and me! We were so fortunate to have found a 24” and a 26” matching color for us to peddle into retirement here in Palm Coast Florida! We searched all the local bike shops and were told we could not get one until May! Ours shipped immediately from California and we got them a week later. Assembly..... was amazingly easy! I had both assembled in under 2 hours. The directions were very easy to folllow and it was not difficult at all. Took my first 5 mile ride this AM at sunrise along A1A and was thrilled with how easy the bike is to handle and love the 3 speeds. Can’t say enough about how pleased we are with our purchase! santa brought my kid the urban lady 24" bike for xmas 2019. at the time it was too big, even with training wheels, so we assembled it and kept it in the garage. she had a smaller bike to use, so the extra bike came in handy when her friends would come over. several of her friends and cousins have used this bike and all have had an easy time riding it! her 5'2" aunt has even used it! she's grown into it now and we've added training wheels while she gets the hang of it. she's turning 11 and i expect she won't need a new bike for a few more years!

Being a guy that is 6'5" I finally became sick of riding around with a crick in my neck or feeling like I was riding a circus bike and bought the Firmstrong chief. I have no regrets at all!

If you are concerned about a disassembled bike and putting it together no worries. The assembly is practically foolproof, and easy for one person to accomplish in a short time period.

The bike and the components are quality, and the extended frame allows for a relaxed position that translates into significant riding enjoyment. Not to mention my local streets are a bit how should I say... non-uniform in their texture so the larger tires provide a significant dampening from the bumps and jostle.

All around an excellent choice.

Excellent bike that is sturdy and solid. There is a little bit of assembly but it the directions make it easy to do. I enjoy riding this bike and know it will last with a lot of use.

We bought a Firmstrong bike for our 8 year old daughter who absolutely loves it! Very strong, durable, comfortable, fashionable and reliable. It kind of resembles a mini beach cruiser. Such a great buy. I would recommend this brand to anyone looking for a new comfortable bike.

This is our second bike from this great company. Materials are well made and instructions thorough and easy to follow. The best part of these bikes are the rich paint applications and color combinations. We chose a vanilla/yellow with bronze rims for our older daughter - Scottsdale, AZ.

My daughter was very specific with the color she wanted for her bike and firmstrong was able to satisfy that. I still have not given my daughter the bike as I am giving it to her for her birthday next month. I ordered so early because I was not sure how long shipping was going to take. Surprisingly it only took a couple weeks. I can’t wait to see the look on her face.

We recently purchased two bikes, the ladies Bella 3 speed in mint and the men’s Chief 3 speed in black. We bought on recommendation from our son who has now had their bikes for a couple of years. We couldn’t be happier with our purchase and were so excited when they finally came back into stock due to Covid. Once we had placed the order we received them within a week, shipping boxes perfect with no damage. My son and husband assembled them with no problem and we have not had any issues with them. We ride almost every weekend, they ride really smooth and are very comfortable! The three gears are perfect for beach cruising. I love the mint color, very jazzy and have added a basket. We are both thrilled with our purchase!

One other note we were pleased to see Firmstrong did not hike up their prices due to the shortage of bikes during Covid. Our local store was selling cruisers at $500+ when they got them in and they were also a lower quality!

My experience with Firmstrong Bikes was some what troubling...in a good way. Reaching a decision on which type of beach bike to purchase was difficult due to the options available, which was a pleasant surprise.
Finally, after several days of reading reviews and researching the reliability of the companies' response to consumers I was sold.
Matte black, three speed - 26 inch Urban Man was the choice.
Shipping was a positive experience as was a reasonable amount of assembly. The links to Beach Bikes video library help with any questions concerning the care and maintenance.
Overall, for the money spent... a true value in bicycling!
