EyeglassesDepot.com started in 2007 as a new department of our retail designer eyeglasses and sunglasses business. Quickly we realized that our customers not only shop for new prescription lenses and new frames, they also ask us the popular question "Can this be fixed?". Tired of telling customers NO, we decided to explore the idea of repair rather then replacement. In late 2007 we remodeled the second floor of our office and hired the staff that today runs our laboratory. Our two lab technicians have combined over 17 years of expert experience in the field of optometry, eyewear repair and eyewear sales.

Absolutely amazing service! I had nearly given up on my broken glasses, but this company worked magic. The repair was flawless — fast turnaround, great communication, and real attention to detail. You can tell they care about their work and their customers. I’m so grateful I found them, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my eyewear repairs again!

can’t say enough great things about the repair service I received for my glasses. From the moment I reached out, the team was responsive, professional, and incredibly helpful. They walked me through the entire process and made sure everything was handled quickly and correctly. My glasses came back looking brand new — perfectly aligned, polished, and even more comfortable than before. This company truly went above and beyond. Highly recommended!

Worst experience!!

Worst experience!!! Sent in Maui Jim’s to be fixed and replace lenses. After over a month they were returned with the same damaged lenses loose in a box. I was told they accidentally shipped them back to me instead of to the “lab” to be fixed. Also i was told to send them back to be done. I said no and I wanted a refund. They quit answering my emails and calls.

I would go below 1 Star

I would go below 1 Star, if that was an option. Just before X-mas I contacted them about replacing the cracked lens on a pair of Maui Jim Stingrays. They sent me a box & a shipping label to send them my glasses. I was extremely delayed in packing them up with Holiday silliness etc. I quickly began receiving emails several times per day asking if I had sent them yet. When I finally did, I sent them an email that they were on their way. 2 days later I stopped receiving the pestering messages asking if I had sent them (maybe because they received them???). I waited a few days to allow for the repairs before I began asking the Status. I was told that they never received them. I began with the Post Office where I received a 4 page document clearly tracking the progress of the shipment with 36 different stops along the way including their mailbox complete with a picture of the box I sent. They claimed to have Human Kind's only PERFECT Tracking system that has NEVER made a mistake or lost track of a package in their long history in business!! NEVER MADE A MISTAKE EVER? I remain suspicious. I even had this post up months ago & they harassed & bothered me promising to make things right if I take it down. Once the Review was down they returned to their claim of perfection.

We did everything within our power to assist you throughout the process. From the beginning, we promptly sent you a shipping kit and followed up to ensure timely service during a busy holiday season. Once you informed us the glasses had been shipped, we unfortunately never received the package. Despite our best efforts, we were unable to locate it in our system or at our facility.

You provided USPS documentation showing delivery to our mailbox, and we respect that. However, as we explained at the time, the box was not received or signed for by our team. We also shared that we’ve worked successfully with thousands of customers using the same process, and while mistakes with mail can happen, we were transparent about what we could—and could not—confirm on our end.

Regarding the repair itself: We offered a replacement set using OEM Maui Jim parts with high-quality plastic lenses, as glass is no longer available through the manufacturer. We understand that this did not meet your expectations, and for that, we apologize.

We also want to be clear: at no point did we intend to “harass” you. Any outreach was purely an effort to make things right and explore solutions. Once the review was removed, our intentions remained the same—offering support within the limits of what was possible.

Again, we regret that this didn’t end the way you had hoped. If you’d still like to discuss any further resolution, our team remains available to help.

Great options and price packages

This company has numerous frame options and great price packages. Upon receiving my order, the anti-reflective coating and scratch coating was missed however this was quickly resolved. Customer service is prompt in responding to concerns, attentive and provide quality work. Recommend to try your new eyewear experience with this company!

BEWARE! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER

Sent this "company" two pair of Maui Jims for repair, one with a broken frame, one with scratched lenses. I did not give them the ok to repair and asked that they be sent back and even paid for return shipping. They repaired anyway and threw my old frames away. When they called to discuss the man aggressively came with an attitude when I asked who was calling, things got worse from there. He told me I still needed to pay for my repairs and were not willing to correct their mistake. When I asked for my property back the man told me he could send my lenses back but that's all they're responsible for. The timeline suggests that they knew they were supposed to send the glasses back but did the repairs anyway to collect the money.

Honest Professionalism

No business operates with perfection, how they deal with unexpected issues is what is telling. Two separate issues came up in my order, and both were dealt with appropriately, and with honest professionalism. I appreciated that so much, especially during these crazy times with Trump's nonsense. We in Canada know how the few can negatively impact the many. Empathy, consideration and above all fairness is what we need to hang unto, even in our business transactions.

Eyeglass Depot returned my Maui Jim…

Eyeglass Depot returned my Maui Jim sunglasses with a replacement frame to me and I noticed a broken lens with from shipment or when the lenses were inserted into the frames. They worked with me and I returned the glasses and a new lens was installed and mailed back. I’m wearing them every day. Thanks

Fixed my favorite sunglasses

Don't Expect Your Hard Case Back or Correct Color Repair

I sent them my Maui Jim's in the hard case for a nose piece repair as I'd done directly with MJ a couple times before. Apparently, there's fine print somewhere saying not to do that since the technicians might throw the case away. Mind boggling, but true. They apparently can't keep track of what customers send in or it's too hard to keep cases with the glasses so they just throw the cases away?!? I've traded a couple emails with them and all they do is refer to the "company policy". Oh, and they also put a brown nose piece replacement on my black sunglasses. Horrible service and no concern whatever with customer dissatisfaction. Seems like one and done with them. Unless they change their tune with my last email response to theirs, I STRONGLY recommend avoiding this company at all costs.

Very professional and trustworthy

Very professional and trustworthy. Contacted me about a pair of glasses I bought over a decade ago. I'd barely worn them and they had another costumer who had requested the model I had. They had me send them back (they paid for postage) and gave me store credit. I ended getting 3 pairs of glasses with the store credit they gave me. Had them sent to me in less than a week! Two thumbs up and 5 stars!!
